Well first guy hashrate increased with 80 MH in less than a day...it should be a botnet, or they are redirecting slowly the rest of their farm to middlecoin...
probably he is adding one gpu every 10 minutes

I've done some research on user 1M3jtksp1upR33SX1VzeCfH5x9fc6zKykR with a hashrate of 640 Mh/s. This user is using something called GRIDCHIP GC3355.
"GC3355 is high performance and low power SHA256 processor designed by GRIDCHIP. With advanced technology and highly integrated design."
One chip is 84KH/s and cost is 65.5USD which is equal to about 7616 GC3355 chips. Total cost of this mining plant is 495 040 USD or more.
He is earning $6,337.53 per day which means his ROI is at 78 days.
Edit: Other sources claim one chip is performing 60 KH/s instead of 84 which means his total investment cost is over whopping number $693333. One adventage of GC3355 is that it can mine both BTC/LTC at same time.
If his middlecoin profits we're not enough he is also earning $3,770.75 USD from bitcoin mining each day as well.
if this was organized farm it would mine with constant speed. this started with 100mhs or less and growing constantly like a virus (645mhs now), what can it be for real? possible someone adding new chip every minute? it looks more like virus spread

Hallo i just wonder that this user had the same problem at the same time as the whole pool, anyone know what happend at this time ? Pool: User: While others didnt have this problem, Was it server releated ? (one of the new servers?) probably power down for part pf the infected pc's 630mh's and growing
|
|
|
ROFL....he is getting 22.3696 MH rejected...
3.5% reject is about on par with what I get, it's not a strange value. Like it was mentioned earlier, a botnet would have a much, much higher number of rejected shares. ok so probably this guy just adding new gpu every 10 minutes
|
|
|
Wow, this guy with virus miner is a genius! 602Mh/s and climbing or maybe he adds new gpu every ten minutes Interesting how much he will gain untill his infection treated.. too bad i'm not that skilled I would split to several wallets to not raise such suspision...

Bitsofgold

You guys think H2O is god and so smart? GO READ HIS POSTS FROM A COUPLE MONTHS AGO
"I thought getting an accepted block (i.e. A:1 R:0 HW: 0) meant that i did solve that block."
"I'm solo mining CHNCoin, and have 18 Accepted, and 6 rejected blocks. But none of them are making their way into my wallet, which only has some coins I got from a pool. Why is this? Are they stale? Wouldn't they have been rejected if that was the case?"
"I still don't understand the difference between stale shares (not rejected, but stale), and discarded work. Maybe they're the same thing, just in different units."
This guy has no idea what he's doing, yet you trust him not to steal from you and to mine the best coin...well the pool is mining Litecoin and making less than if you mine Litecoin yourself.
BUT BEST OF ALL....when someone asked H2O why the site has so little info, he posted this on July 21st, 2013: "As for transparency, the reason to do so would be to: - Prove that I'm not cheating This wouldn't really prove that, because there are tons of ways for a pool operator to cheat which are undetectable."
actually his unprofessionalism is only thing makes me beleive this is not a scam. if someone knows what he is doing, he would not do such unprofitable decisions, so i thought either it's a scam and the guy just making money and dont give a fck either it's someone with good intentions but lack of knowlegde so he is learning from mistakes. either way is not profitable for miners. thats why i moved most my power to multipool, cause whatever we mine there is more profitable than LTC, and even if i wanted to mine LTC why do it for 3%+excange? worst part is that this pool used to be much better than others. either latest "tweaking" either increase in hash rate is to blame but mining LTC for 3% is irrational.

I'm sure there is good reason to be mining LTC. If you dont feel there is, doesnt take much work to redirect your miners to a different pool for a while.
in not a "feel" its simple math if you mine litecoin you get X btc, if you mine other you get >X btc as someone mentioned small coins can't be exchanged at high volume for btc without crashing meaning its more profitable to mine with smaller pool safest way is to point rigs to different pools, but people with only one rig are making a bet on pool's owner which not always working well. last week middlecoin was better profit than others but this week it is not possible unless others will start mining less profitable coins.

Middlecoin.com vs Multipool.us note this comarison with previuos setting before middlecoin started mining litecoin and feathercoin so for next week middlecoin cant be more profitable cause you mine litecoin... I don't understand? Can you elaborate? in cgminer you can see what difficulty you mine this way you can know which coin is it, in websites like coinwarz/minetips/coinchoose/dustcoin you can see how profitable is coin you mine. last week it was mostly dogecoin so it was profitable, now middlecoin also switches to litecoin and feathercoin which are not profitable compared to others while multipool mines more profitable coins so for next week result will be not in middlecoins favor.

I've been watching us server for a while and seems it switches between doge ltc ftc wdc, according to coinwars minetips and coinchoose there is no logic to this cause ltc is never more profitable than others, ftc even less profitable than ltc, and beside those there are about 15 other coins which are more profitable.
also it switches about every minute which is waste because profitability not changing that frequently.
meanwhile most my power back to multipool because their switching algorithm is more profitable but I hope to be back if it fixed.

Scrypt ASIC Chip POC Prototype VideoYou can view update on our website: https://alpha-t.net/news/scrypt-asic-poc-prototype-video/The following video is an ASIC Chip prototype demonstration done on FPGA based ASIC prototyping board. The demonstration is by one of our engineers from our engineering partners in India, Dexcel Designs. The video demonstrates our ASIC design and core speeds working live. The ASIC design document this demonstration relates to can be found here: https://alpha-t.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/Scrypt_ASIC_Prototyping_Design_Document.pdf. You may note that we had bettered hashing speed per core as compared to last time we published our results in our Prototyping Design Document. As stated in the following video, our ASIC design POC has not been optimised for any specific FPGA, instead optimised for multi-core scalability with ASIC in mind. That's why it's important we show our core speed and number of cores we are targeting as per the final ASIC chip. Based on this design and global foundries process node, die sizes and the associated costs have been arrived at and we will be going ahead with the fabrication, post final back end verification. Video link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=69P2RHG2pIAOur next update will be the official launch in which we will start taking orders for batch 1 along with instructions. A note to all forum viewers, we will be further populating our FAQ section to answer all your questions. If you feel some of your questions are still unanswered please email us on info@alpha-t.net, and we will get back to you as soon as possible. So what are you showing in this video? 43 Khs my skydrive mining faster than that Seriously what the point of this video? to scare away costumers?

it cost like top gpu's rig at the moments BUT will be available only in half year. in this half year hd8000 series will release and for same money you will be able to buy more khs and gpu can be sold unlike this.

For the most I try, I don't understand how these businesses make money.
You've got the gold buried, and the shovel in your hands. So you rent the shovel ? Wtf ?
You rent shovel for amount of gold it will never find
