241  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what happens if the bitcoin disappear ? on: January 22, 2016, 09:32:24 AM
what happens if the next 10 years, bitcoin disappeared and worthless?

it is highly unlikely, because bitcoin offers a lot of good features which are useful. besides it is an open sourced project which is always evolving for the better.
so in 10 years it is going to resolve any issues it has and improve in many places. so i don't see this happen.

I don't think it will disappear, it might value less especially if majority sees a better (faster) altcoin especially the POS ones but it's kinda hard to tell really. They might come up with a faster way to transfer bitcoins so alt coins won't get some sunshine but who knows.

After few years of obsevartions I am pretty sure, that technical advantages are not as convincing as the high level of adaptation. Any ultra-fast, secure and [enter any feature you like], brand-new altcoin is just a techy tidbit compared to the bitcoin from the common user's point of view.
242  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin used to do money laundering - will it become a huge problem? on: January 21, 2016, 01:14:00 PM
It is not just bitcoin that is used for money laundering. Fiat currencies and precious metals can be used to do just that as well. In fact, criminals often use FIAT cash to do their biddings and have their own strategies to launder their gains.
Before Bitcoin, they also did money laundering, now that bitcoin is here, they still do it the old style!

Correct, every currency even asset is used to do money laundering. Bitcoin is an currency so yes people will use it for this purposes.
In fact the most used currency today is the US dollar.

The funny thing is, that people are more worried about use of electronic asset, than some piece of paper Wink
243  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin used to do money laundering - will it become a huge problem? on: January 21, 2016, 12:15:52 PM

important bitcoin is perfect way to launder money

No, it's not. Unlike Bitcoin, cash money is sometimes impossible to track. Of course you can use mixing services etc. that can help you hide traces of your transactions, but Bitcoin is not designed to be anonymous.
244  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do with your idle coins? on: January 21, 2016, 09:32:34 AM
If there would be a service for deposit BTC, that would be as safe as bank loans and give you some micro-earnings, it would be great Smiley
245  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: January 21, 2016, 06:22:58 AM
Methods. Hmmm Those lucky human being out there with a lot of bitcoin that have been sold while it is at 450 then bought again at 380 that is one method of growing your bitcoin.  Grin Think about it if you are doing it with a lot of bitcoin. That is more growing than investing in banks. And guess what? It just took 1 week.  Grin

1. I guess that there is no method to achieve that in the specified timeframe, so were quite lucky this time, but you also could wait for months to get your ROI.
2. In terms of investment risk, bank deposits have no competition right now. Bitcoin is something different, as well as all speculation-based assets.

Does adbit.co still ban faucetbox script faucets?
249  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: September 23, 2015, 01:29:58 PM
Governments need means of creation and control of currencies, that Bitcoin does not offer.

IMHO there is one requirement for replacing USD by BTC - complete crash of current economical system.

Do you know "Mr. Robot" TV series? Maybe Bitcoin needs story like this to happen  Cheesy
250  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you like best about bitcoin? on: September 23, 2015, 12:54:56 PM
Bitcoin gives infinite opportunities for investing, running online businesses (even without any formalities), entertainment and so on.

It's flexible, accessible and for everyone Smiley
251  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I've been scammed 5.5BTC. What will you do when your Bitcoin get scammed? on: September 23, 2015, 12:39:08 PM
I would distinguish two different cases:

1) You were using legit service just for common purposes, like coin exchange that had been "hacked".

2) You were greedy and would like to magically multiply your BTC (ponzi, IPO etc.) and then got scammed.

Of course, there is no excuse for scammers. But as long as we can do nothing to punish them, the only line of defence is to make right choices.
You didn't? If you need to get some practical knowledge in this matter, you have to pay Wink

254  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Advise on where do i advertise using bitcoin on: September 16, 2015, 05:57:24 AM
AFAIK one of the biggest bitcoin advertisment service is adbit.co. You can see their banners on many popular, BTC-related sites.
Also, I heard that bitmedia.io has pretty high rates for publishers, so probably they care about quality - they refused to put adspace on my faucet site few month ago  Tongue
255  Other / Off-topic / Re: Worst mistake you did with Bitcoin? on: September 12, 2015, 10:58:33 PM
Mining 1,1 BTC with Radeon 6950 (took about 8-12 hours) then sold for  about 5$.
2Q 2011 :p

The difficulty at that time was lower Smiley, it was cheap at that time. I consider a mistake that i haven't invested in hardware mining few years before.

I don't remember the exact details, also price was fluctuating a lot that days.In the middle of 2011 the first serious bitcoin bubble poped and I sold some BTCs @40$ in panic  Cheesy
256  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Putin and Kim Jong Un Are Not So Different on: September 12, 2015, 10:45:09 PM
I wonder if Kim Jong Un (as well as hus father was) is not only a figure for the masses that are trained to worship the symbols- their leaders. I am afraid, that real deciding power in N.Korea is a group of high grade military men ruling country behind the courtains.

259  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: winspiral's other faucet [1 satoshi][+5000 satshi activity bonus] on: September 12, 2015, 09:22:24 PM
Quote
So far 1132 potential bonus winners (bonus = activity bonus + referrer bonus)
So far 908500 satoshi won with the bonus
1 has won 10000 satoshi (26 claims)
1 has won 30000 satoshi (196 claims)

Seriously? It gives about 360 and 140 satoshi per claim. Your idea is to give low payouts and promising 5000 at the same time. Let me make an example: I make simple faucetbox site with rewards 5 (70%), 10 (29,99%), 100000 (0,01%). Chances for claiming 100000 also depend on users activity - it's just statistics. The more times you try, the higher probability you have.

I appreciate your efforts  to create something uniqe, but in my opinion what  your site offers is only a satisfaction from claiming the main reward - but after all it's still very little.
