Still here. Still sick. Major depression.. maybe start coding again will help me with this, activate the brain. Im really sorry guys, it was never meant to be like this, its just happened.
I've heard that the best cure for depression is to publicly burn the premine. Come on, it's worth almost nothing now. They have earned the right to profit from their premine if they keep working on it. Besides, that the only way to give it value now.

So what are we doing about the explorer? i saw a few good amount of different options.
We have decided to start working on our own version of the block explorer. We can host it on the website when it goes online. Sorry for the silence, we are still here working on new features! Good to hear. Any hint on the features?

Price keeps falling but it's true for every alt at the moment. And this coin has never had its pump. Sooner or later, it will hopefully. Why da fuck you all sayin how alts are losing value? so not true - take a look on coinmarketcap - most of them are rising Yeah sorry, I wanted to say "most", and I'm focused on Poloniex mainly. There are always some winners and losers anyway.

Someone has more than 80k SHIFT on Bittrex! This is a really good time to buy!
|

|
Bittrex has over 62.5% of the coins, that without ever forging. People need to start withdrawing their balances to the wallets in order to prevent centralization + an accident such as wallet being robbed. Meanwhile, suprnova has over 68.2% of the mining network. So if we switch to PoS bittrex centralizes the coin, and if we continue on pure pow suprnova centralizes it. We are way beyond the 51% limit on both fronts.
If you have over 1mh/s there is no reason for you not to solo mine. You will run a node which will help everyone and mining at a pool needlessly is the same as donating your money to the pool owner. I don't think any 2012 and onwards graphic card will give you less than 1 mh/s. That's enough for 1-2 blocks per day, everyday, at current difficulty! Stop giving money to pool owner for nothing! We also need more pools.
If you have money on bittrex take it away before it's too late. Countless times exchanges have stolen and have been stolen. Why are you trusting them so much? We also need more exchanges.
I've not been mining anything since last year. I just invest here and there when I have a good feeling. For now, I keep the coins on Bittrex because I don't want to install new wallets over and over again. As soon as PoS starts, I will be retrieving the coins.

Someone is accumulating on Bittrex. Almost 50,000 in their balance. That's true for the top 3 actually. I'm in the top 10! Yay!

And so, it's not planned to use SHIFT as the ticker any more?

Don't they require a website for adding a coin?
Pretty much done, http://46.101.129.58/#homeDid EXP had a website or a block explorer when they got added, the answer is NO. This is just absurd. Cool, the font is hard to read in the FAQ section though. I believed EXP had a website when added. I read EXP team have their entries at Polo, so that would explain it. Now, that makes me question Poloniex's impartiality...

How many total coins?
Here's something that might be worth knowing too. Let's compare:
Expanse, 11,000,000 premine with 1,100,000 available immediately. Block target 1 minute and 8 EXP block reward. 4,207,680 EXP mined per year. Time to match premine = 2 years, 7 1/2 months
Ethereum, 72,000,000 premine to prerelease investors, devs, contributors, and their foundation. Block target 15 seconds and 5 Ether block reward. 10,519,200 Ether mined (and staked in future) per year. Time to match premine = 6 years 10 months
Shift, 250,000 premine. Block target 12 seconds (in theory, its first post says average blocktime is higher) and 3 SHF block reward. 7,889,400 (theoretical) mined (or staked in future) per year. Time to match premine = 12 days.
Edit: Shift target is 11 seconds, so math is slightly off, but you get the picture.

Well, it's a good time to buy when the price is low. ETH has not showed its power yet, but you can be sure that sometime down the road, the average joe will learn about it.
DAPPs are already a great pilar, but wait for these two ones and people will understand just how powerful is ETH:
EtherBrowser: the upcoming primary client for Ethereum, which will exist in the form of a web browser that can be used to access both normal websites and applications built on top of the Ethereum platform
Swarm: an upcoming P2P data storage protocol optimized for static web hosting that will be integrated into the EtherBrowser

|
|
Why would ETH need to be converted to BTC when you can convert it to fiat (on Kraken for example)? And if Augur guys believe in their project, they shouldn't make ETH price crash. Well, they can for a reasonable amount, and in small batches, but otherwise it's shooting on your own foot.

Good to have a total coin number. Now a website, even minimal would help a lot, to be listed on Poloniex for example.
|
|
|
Good job on the block explorer!
|
|

I sent a coin request on Polo as well. A website would also help to build trust in the project. I guess it's in the todo list already...

Quote from EXP thread Let's compare:

In my opinion, SHIFT is way underpriced right now. The problem is that some info is missing on CMC. A good block explorer is essential and should be #1 priority, so that the needed info is provided, and then people can compare it to other coins. http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/shift/#chartsAlso, keeping SHIFT as the ticker would be a better brand than SHF.
