241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is facebook creating their own crypto? on: January 27, 2019, 10:58:07 PM
I do not know when Facebook will lunch its own coin.
This might just be a rumour. Before I will accept that, then it would have been lunched first, but without that, I will still take it as a rumour.
242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What makes one currency able to handle more TPS than another? on: January 27, 2019, 10:54:44 PM
The network congestion on ethereum network, is enough reason to bring about low TPS. It has the  highest number of community using its platform.
So there is every tendency for its speed to reduce. Then if the upgrade is accomplished, it bring being about good impact.
243  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Change of strategy on: January 27, 2019, 10:49:30 PM
Some investors and traders are complaining of not making profits like they used to, when the market was better. Instead or profits, it has been loses.
If you find yourself in this situation, why don't you ask yourself; what method am I using that is not making things to work out?
It will surprise you that the method might be archaic or that it might not work for this period.
Why don't you change it.
For instance, you always wait for long to get huge profits within 24hrs, which used to work for you. Since the market is bear, why don't you reduce the time and be satisfied with small profit. Then gradually, you can accumulate more.
244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the Real Risks of Crypto? on: January 27, 2019, 10:41:13 PM
The team risk of cryptocurrency in my opinion, is attached more to pur inability to learn and gather good knowledge.
I would have said adequate knowledge, but no knowledge is adequate, except you feel you have known all and you need not to know again.
245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Now The Time To Buy Quality Projects? on: January 27, 2019, 10:38:28 PM
I am glad we now see some good projects lunched in the crypto space.
Although, there have been good ones, but it got to a point that it seems most projects are scam.
All you need do is give some time out to carryout quality research and you will find one.
Good ICOs are still I'm existence.
246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Cryotocurrency gives you excitement? on: January 26, 2019, 11:43:04 PM
The most exciting part of cryptocurrency to me is trading. It can be very much interesting and one can also easily get addicted to it, which happened to me when I first started.
With them, the addiction might fade away, because you will find it easier and more interesting.
247  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why Bounty Hunters Hate KYC !!! on: January 26, 2019, 11:40:42 PM
There would not have been anything wrong with kyc, if not for scammers who deceive people to get their personal details, by lunching scam projects.
Some of them, after scamming investors of their money, they also go ahead to steal identities and sell them.
248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: High or Low Supply: Which do you prefer? on: January 26, 2019, 11:37:06 PM
When it comes to picking your altcoins, do you take into consideration coin supply?  And if so, do you prefer high or low supply coins?
The total supply of a coin might not be the main factor that determines what he outcome of a projects would be or what you are likely going to gain and most times, it is not a determinant, which is evident in today's market.
My concern most times is the usecase, tech and how proactive the team is.
249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lesson from bear market on: January 26, 2019, 11:34:00 PM
Sometimes, when you are unprepared for a thing, it meets you unawares and it might get to a point, where you may not know what to do again.
This is very much related to cryptocurrency and then get stuck by an immediate dump, without you being prepared. So if care is not taken, you may not know what to do.
A prepared mind, will always have a means of escape.
250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the Real Risks of Crypto? on: January 26, 2019, 11:27:50 PM
The real risk of crypto currency is nothing far more than our ignorance.
What you already know is yours.
So most times, we fall victim, because we do not know.
Most times, those who make good it big, achieve that fit, because they know.
251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ALL Initial Coin Offerings are Trash on: January 25, 2019, 11:31:16 PM
Some projects have made free offers in the past in form of airdrops and they never sold anything before lunching on exchange,
They did the funding by themselves, since the inception of the project. I just feel that such can continue happening.
Some projects are now trying to get the backings of law in order to gain more trust and recognition.
252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do I buy bitcoin or litecoin? on: January 25, 2019, 11:21:22 PM
With such amount, i would rather invest in a good altcoin, than invest in bicoin now and not get my maximum profit. Had it been you have x10 of that amount, then investing in btc will be much better.
Although, i am nit trying to discourage you. Bitcoin is good in that case for long term.
253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Project Initiators and Team need KYC more than Investors on: January 25, 2019, 11:15:48 PM
There are projects that do not ask investors for kyc, such as webspace. Although, some will tell you they are trying to be complaints with certain laws and that it compels them to get kyc done by all participants, both investors and bounty hunters.
This is very common with STOs.
If project team can be made to do kyc, it will make more investors to invest in such project.
254  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: exchange fees that no one talks about on: January 24, 2019, 11:25:45 PM
I can't imagine that just recently, latoken increased it's withdrawal fee by 30%. That to me is outrageous and can discourage a lot of users.
This is why sometimes I just prefer to use decentralized exchanges. Here you can adjust the fee to whichever amount you want.
Although, I have also seen some centralized exchanges with zero withdrawal fee.
255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TokenPay Discussion on: January 24, 2019, 11:23:43 PM
Tokenpay rings a bell, but I do not think I know anything about it yet.
If is has what it takes to give some value to the coin, such as a good product. Constant updates on the development is another essential part.
256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New Beginning and a Bright Future on: January 24, 2019, 11:19:32 PM
We have just started in another year and we cannot yet conclude on  whether it is bringing in a new firm to the crypyo space or not.
Some projects that started in2018, seem to have just spilled over to 2019.
I am still of the opinion that there will be changes.
257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your ICOs to watch ? on: January 20, 2019, 11:50:31 PM
I have had to opportunity of participating and investing in a lot of ICOs and I can confidently say that, despite the rising number of scam ICOs, there are still genuine ones.
Most especially those that are now trading above ICO price.
Such might be rare, but they exist.
258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tell us ICO that has ended but still the distribution is not yet for bounty on: January 20, 2019, 11:45:15 PM
I believe that most of those projects are looking for a better way of preventing their coins from dumping and invariable, trying to avoid  receiving complaints from investors.
Yet, even if bounty hunters are not paid, the coin will still dump. So there is no point holding back their rewards.
259  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what are people doing? on: January 20, 2019, 11:41:11 PM
I personally do not hodl when I an supposed to sell and I do not sell when I am to hold.
Although, I have made some mistakes in the past and they have thought me a lot of lessons.
So today, I am always careful of what to do with my coins.
260  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Postponed ICO after bounty campaign on: January 20, 2019, 11:37:59 PM
The rate at which projects succeed when compared to each other, is quite different.
Some projects take more time, because they may not have adequate connections with investors who would come and invest in the project.
I have done some bounty whose ICOs were postponed and at the end, they succeeded. So sometimes, patience is needed.
