I played a bit with the stats for users sending invalid user-agents against the /stats (and /stats.json) on a regular basis.
I removed a couple checks that was a bit to wildcard:ish.

Looks ok again Smiley
was almost getting ready to call you Cheesy

247  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: 5770 + 6770, good idea? on: July 20, 2011, 11:46:06 AM
1 you don't want to use crossfire for mining it degrades performance.
2 6000 series cards perfrom worse for bitcoin mining than 5000 series cards in general.
you're better off getting a 5830 or better, you'll get 300+mhash from that card alone

that might be true, but as i stated its also for gaming.
Plus i cant get a 5830 new, only second hand
and im only buying new stuff, never second hand
248  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / 5770 + 6770, good idea? on: July 20, 2011, 11:36:12 AM
I want to expand my current computer which is riggerd with a MSI Radeon HD5770 1GB PCI-E.
I was thinking about the Sapphire Radeon HD6770 1GB Vapor-X.
So i then have a crossfire setup for gaming, and 2 VGA's for mining with +/- 350mhash.

However, its been a while since i read about CF.
But will this work or will it give conflicts since its a completely new serie?
249  Other / Off-topic / Re: Holland just went bezerk! on: July 20, 2011, 07:52:38 AM

The progressive dream is becoming a reality. The state will control everything, for your own good obviously.

Hopefully more people like you will refuse to comply, its the only way it will stop. Im in Europe too and wont comply if implemented in my country.

i hope so to, however i highly doubt it.
Thats the bad thing about the dutchies, most of em just dont care.
As long as they still have food, a house, a car and money, everything is ok.
Maybe if you just take one of those things away people will start listening.
Until then, its just impossible to start a rally
250  Other / Off-topic / Holland just went bezerk! on: July 20, 2011, 07:23:34 AM
Dutch article:
Quote

Freely translated:
The police will start soon with mobile fingerprint scanners.
These scanners is at first ment for a more intesive controle on illigal immirants.
About 125 cops will get these machines with which they can check if someone is an illigal immirant.

What is your opinion on this?
I live in holland and i think this is just bullshit, mostly the "At first" part.
I have a passport which is enough to identify myself.

Already told my parents that if they try to control me, they can expect a call from the police as i refuse to give it up.
