241  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think at some point government will change its stand and adopt Bitcoin? on: July 09, 2023, 02:13:17 AM
The panorama that shows the adoption of this asset currently in the world, allows us to think that sooner or later it will be involved by all the regions that exist on the planet, the advantages that bitcoin brings are incomparable, governments are clear about that, and for this reason some are already making the decision to incorporate them into their economy, the rest simply do not have the security yet to be able to deal with it, since bitcoin is a practically indomitable and decentralized currency, but they are used to having control over the assets that handle and about the people who handle said coins, contrary to what would happen if they accept it, it may be for this reason that it does not advance quickly. However...... I can assure you that the moment they agree and take a valid initiative that definitely addresses BTC, the world will enter an eloquent change...... a new era.
242  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of Farming. on: July 08, 2023, 11:49:06 PM
Land is becoming lesser and not very available for agriculture as before, There is a lot of Urbanization going on and many land space are being built on to carter for the increasing number of persons. There will be lesser organic foods available for consumption as the worlds population increase and farming space reduces. Because of this, there now has to be an improvement in farming methods and I personally consider vertical Farming to be the future of organic food farming.
There are two places to live in anywhere in the world. Either you live in Rural area or you live in Urban area. Now when someone was living in the rural area and moved down to Urban settlement then the place he or she was living at the rural area became vacancy, so occupying one place gives room to open another place. So that of the rural settlement space can be use has farming.
I don't know of other countries, in my locality, there are enough lands to farm but nobody to farm. Specifically, my paternal home town is a ghost town now because urbanization has taken over 99% of the people. So lands full there to farm.

It is unfortunate that this type of thing happens, agriculture is very important for the economy of a country and not only for that but also for society in general, it helps increase jobs, reduces poverty... among other significant characteristics, it is That is why sometimes i wonder why they discredit such a productive activity and which, in my opinion, should be extremely demanding...  urban planning is destroying the essence of nature and its potential, i understand those who seek a better life in the city with jobs that supposedly will provide them with a better quality of life when in reality if they start looking for another point of view, the earth offers us all those possibilities...... and if you can your comment from:

Quote
So lands full there to farm.

Be true at this time, but the population is growing, the spaces are shrinking and those spaces that were once empty will be converted into other cities, almost completely reducing this activity by not seeing land to cultivate, only to survive...
243  Economy / Economics / Re: Fix the money, Fix the world. on: July 07, 2023, 11:22:52 PM
Although indeed the current financial system is not the best, history has shown that it is the most functional, this does not mean that financial segregation is necessary, but nevertheless, what determines the economic position of someone today is their ability and interest to grow monetarily, clearly not everyone has access to the same opportunities but this does not mean that the same should become a frequent excuse, it seems to me that the basis of the OP has an implicit communist idea, even so, I fully agree that bitcoin can help improve the current economic dynamics to be a decentralized system proposed and in this particular point seems to me that there is a good argument
244  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you Have Any Bitcoin Stories from a Decade Ago? on: July 07, 2023, 10:21:52 PM
The story of the pizza is a classic of the life of Bitcoin, I will tell you a rather unfortunate story, it is from a friend, the first one who knew about BItcoin before me, in 2009 he always talked about a bitcoin faucet, he commented that even if it were little, in the future it would be very valuable (actually it happened)…. But it happens and it turns out that this individual accumulated 11 bitcoins and for 2017-2018 it was a large amount of money, but life itself is uncertain and a tragedy occurred... the flash drive where my friend had the private keys was damaged, I tried to shave it but it didn't work .. I try to find some other way to enter his wallet .. but nothing, this person invested large amounts of his life time to get those 11 BTC. In today's sun it could be an incredibly millionaire person but the reality is another... A true story to reflect on
245  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the way to Prosperity for a Determined Dreamer on: July 07, 2023, 09:34:30 PM
I'll play the devil here and say to you upfront that you shouldn't put all your hopes and dreams on bitcoin. There are people that over sells BTC as if it's the key to financial success or the solution to everything - IT'S NOT. There are many avenues where you could put your money into and become successful as well. I suggest that you expand your skills and boost your financial literacy.

For me you are right, you do not play the role of the devil, you play the role of that person who makes you put your feet on the ground... I have already said it on other occasions here in the forum "Generating money and making it grow is a task that actually has much more implications than people think." Although Bitcoin has great potential, you cannot be waiting for it to solve your life... People must first have, as you say, a "financial education" It is essential to develop a life that will have good benefits in the future.

For the OP, my best advice is that you invest in yourself first... and not by saying the word "investment" I am referring to Bitcoin or any other type of money... but rather that you invest in time to enrich your knowledge, this forum It could be a start for you to gradually cultivate financial wisdom with solid foundations of this world, because if you are going to invest in BItcoin right now without having a clear idea of what bitcoin really is, it would be a loss for you. Maybe your teacher He told you that it is a virtual currency and that's it... but I didn't tell you all the background that this ship has... Knowledge is power and it can change people's lives.
246  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Having no money to invest in Bitcoin is even better on: July 07, 2023, 08:56:31 PM
If you want to investigate and know more about bitcoin when you do not have the ability to buy it, it is more encouraged, because you would practically be starting from scratch, since first of all, you would have to know what this virtual currency is, how to obtain it without the need of legal tender money, we would inquire more about how to manage it once a considerable amount is finally possessed and the best ways to avoid losses, looking for yourself and consulting with others who will have more time in the matter...... but something very important and that could differentiate them from those investors who are only governed by the opinion of others, is that doing it this way is where the best decisions are made based on their knowledge and not so much because of the influence that someone else could generate.
247  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would Bitcoin Be Badly Hurt if Binance Goes Down? on: July 07, 2023, 08:02:16 PM
If we start to think, Binance was created years after bitcoin came to the fore, so if it disappears, many people will probably choose to use another Exchange that suits the needs of the users or simply create a new one that fulfills the same functions. and even with other adaptations…….However, studying the panorama a bit, I have been able to notice that this platform is one of the most used currently, it has come to gain great fame and a considerable number of users, so if considered that it would somehow affect the value of bitcoin, since despite the fact that this asset has no relationship with fiduciary monetary operations (for example, inflation), it is affected by demand, so if people (mostly inexperienced) goes into crisis thinking that it would be the end of bitcoin, the graphs will express low fluctuations.
248  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin whales took high risks, while studying price movement in the past on: July 07, 2023, 07:21:29 PM
At that time everything was in full swing and many did not know it, it was something totally new and the risk could be said to be taken as of a higher range, it was not known if this asset would be as effective, so it meant walking the tightrope and trust that the other side would be reached, it was obvious that many would oppose and give advice so that they do not make this type of investment, but even so, the decision that several people made, without taking into account the negative comments, brought them a reward very big…….this for me, gave a quite influential reflection, where in order to be successful in this life, it is best to take your own risks and let things happen, either for better or for worse, because if you let yourself Influencing others would miss out on significant opportunities, like what perhaps happened to the CEO's colleagues. The situation with bitcoin may currently be in another scenario, but it continues to have strength and promises profitability.
249  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as an opportunity for the unbanked. on: July 07, 2023, 02:14:17 AM
Banks are regulated and supervised by government entities, which provides certain protections and guarantees to depositors, however, as many of us know, these have other problems such as privacy and centralization, I think both have their advantages and disadvantages because as you say that Blockchain technology ensures protection... there have been cases of bitcoin theft in the past due to vulnerabilities in the exchange platforms or security errors in digital wallets.

I personally prefer to keep my money in Bitcoin, but only to see it more as a long term investment, the real approach that we should implement to the bankers would be that, to make them see that Bitcoin is an excellent investment method, since as some commented not in all countries this Bitcoin as legal tender and that brings difficulties for countries that do not have this benefit.

250  Economy / Economics / Re: What will you do when you have Financial Freedom? on: July 06, 2023, 11:41:21 PM
It is not so easy to have financial freedom, money covers practically everything that concerns our life, it is involved in being able to dress, educate and even in health... Without money you would die, not being able to buy a medicine that is essential to survive, so if I already had financial freedom, I would invest more or create more businesses……. it could be both…….and I would even look for other alternatives that could guarantee that said freedom is maintained until my last days, so that I never lack for anything or those I love, already having that insured, I would share with my family and help them in whatever that you need, I would travel, I would provide support for those who have not been able to have the same luck as they would be having due to economic situations.
251  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I sold the altcoins and invested in Bitcoin" on: July 06, 2023, 10:40:31 PM
!!!!!wow!!!!!i am surprised how radical you were to change absolutely everything without thinking twice but it is quite good they gave you excellent advice maybe since you have always used altcoins you should have done it little by little as to avoid losses since that  had not it yet  haing handled this type of investment but omitting this part it seems to me that you made an excellent decision and of course if it is good for your future  this asset has that characteristic that pays off in a certain time so you should not worry just keep advising you so that everything is kept under control and things turn out as you expect.......As for the wallet you are using it may be better to go looking for one that is more suitable for this type of currency one that keeps you anonymous and in turn secures your assets and with which you can feel comfortable.
252  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Education and money as the key to Bitcoin adoption. on: July 06, 2023, 04:24:55 PM
Unlike what many people always say, I personally think that bitcoin is doing great in terms of adoption. Rarely will you see anyone who uses the internet that have not heard about Bitcoin. Many people have heard about bitcoin and many also understand that bitcoin is not scam.

Talking about technicality of bitcoin, it is true that not everyone understands the technical aspect of bitcoin but the most important thing is that you do not need the technical knowledge of bitcoin in order to invest in it. Knowing how to send and receive bitcoin is OK for anyone who wants to invest in bitcoin.

Well in my case in my country or at least where I live do not know much about Bitcoin, knowledge is very vague and scarce, I'm in college and there are times when the subject comes to light about bitcoin by me and most of the answers I get is What is that? Or they have a wrong idea about it, if we take it to a statistical level in my university the average that knows about bitcoin is very low... clearly I like to explain and educate them about this blockchain, p2p and teach them a little about why it would be good to invest....

Some time ago here in the forum several people commented their ideas on how to impart more knowledge of bitcoin to people, and I think the best thing would be in economic workshops in schools talk about Bitcoin, give at first a basic concept of, what is it? Who is satoshi nakamoto? solidify a structure of knowledge investment in bitcoin later, it would be a good idea for children to learn more about this world and there is no more ignorance of BTC.
253  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I love Bitcoin on: July 06, 2023, 01:58:55 AM
When I first saw bitcoin the price was still $500, and it is all the reason I need to be curious to what bitcoin is since everyone is talking that it was used by illegal transactions and underground auctions. To be honest before I came here in this forum, what I am curious was not bitcoin itself but the dark web, and as time goes by, Bitcoin become a normal topic in every discussion I went, that is also when the time that I encountered this forum, at first, I even thought this forum is all about black market, but it's not.

My main reason why I explored the underground auction is to try a new way to earn money without getting caught by the government since at that time I was underage, and I wanted to earn money for the sake of preparing enough money for my future before my age becomes legal. Due to that reason that I am not too keen and always hesitant on spending bitcoin for payments since what I focused is about earning not spending, but as time went on, you will learn so much about the currency, economy, financial management, and even how to handle your own trades in every market, that is why it slowly it imprints on my mind to try and use bitcoin as a currency as what it was purposely made, and the rest is history.

It happened to me relatively similar, for the year 2016-2017 I remember that my friends commented a lot about the dark web... and have always called my attention the disturbing and mysterious themes so I investigated a little and managed to see that I used BItcoin as a form of payment in these hidden places... however I did not pay much attention, it was then that along with some friends we saw more in depth the potential of BItcoin and that awakened my interest much more.

You have to understand that Bitcoin without the ability to progress in adoption will only be love and as they say, love alone is not enough, people do not understand the empowerment that bitcoin offers, it is an intangible fact that is only understood when you can express emotions like the ones you are shown in OP.

So it doesn't matter if you hate it, but use it surely you end up falling in love.

<3 BTC
Let us all be real; it is not Bitcoin solely which is getting the interest of investors but the profit potential it has for being a volatile asset. It has higher market price volatility wherein investors are taking good advantage of, which is just a good thing to do. Also, it does matter whether you love it or not; if you are just forced to engage into it, for sure you'd end up frustrated  and stressed on every market price correction. It is important for someone to be really interested with what he/she is doing. For years, its market value is on upward direction even if inconsistent. Emotions on the other hand should not be related with investments because it would affect your decision making, having a bigger tendency for a negative outcome.

I agree that many investors have taken advantage of the volatility of bitcoin. Certainly we should not get carried away by emotions when it comes to making any investment, it is better to know more in depth your investment and be sure of what you want to do, make a previous study of what BItcoin covers, all its potential ... Fanaticism can lead you to make decisions that end up affecting your capital, so a cool mind, patience and good knowledge are key points for a good investment.
254  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is an international asset — BlackRock CEO’s bullish remarks on: July 06, 2023, 12:22:20 AM

Oh, I was focused on the actual research of the post and did not take the precaution of checking if there were similar topics, I know that in this forum accuracy is appreciated and I like to be part of it, however, for some reason the platform does not allow me to delete the same, so it will have to be a thorn in the shoe this time, I regret this fact, however, in the same way I also want to point out that in the similar article about this topic seems to be oriented more towards informativity and my interest in this one is to generate discussion.
255  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin is an international asset — BlackRock CEO’s bullish remarks on: July 05, 2023, 11:20:44 PM
BlackRock (BLK) CEO Larry Fink said crypto, specifically bitcoin (BTC), could revolutionize the financial system in an interview with Fox Business on Wednesday.

Quote
We do believe that if we can create more tokenization of assets and securities – that’s what bitcoin is – it could revolutionize finance

he said. Previously known to be a skeptic of crypto, Fink years ago suggested fans of the asset class heavily used it for “illicit activities.”

Fink continued:
Quote
Instead of investing in gold as a hedge against inflation, a hedge against the onerous problems of any one country, or the devaluation of your currency whatever country you’re in – let’s be clear, bitcoin is an international asset, it’s not based on any one currency and so it can represent an asset that people can play as an alternative.

From this fact I can notice with not very clear expectations, how the independent or external financial world, becomes every day more interested in bitcoin increasing its projection and even change its perception of it, however I wonder how the environment of the most important cryptocurrency will react, out of what is obvious as a small rise due to the positive opinion of a "big fish", rather in terms of its market and relative, especially considering facts such as:

Under Fink, BlackRock has attempted to launch a spot BTC ETF with cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase acting as a surveillance partner. It’s unclear if the Securities and Exchange Commission will approve the investment vehicle, given its track record of rejecting all previously filed spot BTC ETF applications to date.

I woul like to know what its your opinion about this fact, ¿Do you think, tihis time is the right for the Fink Purpose?, ¿Could be there another interesting thing?, Even ¿Is the Fink Purpose a good way for bitcoin currently?, Honestly , im a litle excited for the posible results butim not pretty sure if this is the properly thing to do.

256  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Without money, the knowledge is a waste on: July 05, 2023, 10:41:08 PM
Learning about bitcoin could never be considered a waste of effort, you may think that it is not useful for the simple fact that without a fiat currency you will not be able to access it and therefore everything you learned and know about this asset is lost. , but it is not like that, many fall into this error, but if there are other ways to achieve it without having to go through legal tender money, moreover, if you took enough advice, you should know that it is not the only option. Now what many comment is true, right now you have the opportunity to own bitcoin by belonging to a firm that pays you in this currency for your work, you already have the possibility of putting into practice all that knowledge that you managed to acquire and manage your assets in the best way so as not to waste anything.
257  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you not hodling on: July 05, 2023, 08:44:35 PM
I support the idea of wanting to hold Bitcoin, I personally do, because in my experience with it, the best way to see gains is long term, as for what you say if bitcoin stopped being unstable, I doubt that, because one of the characteristics of BTC  is that it is not stable and that it would be impossible to be stable

On the other hand, I think that people don't have bitcoin simply because of lack of information, people think that they can only have one by buying it with 30 thousand dollars... but they don't know that you can have portions of bitcoin such as satoshis... Maybe in the future, this is not the case and people have a deeper study of this and some have a better vision of investing with Bitcoin.
258  Economy / Economics / Re: Look for what to invest, not what to eat on: July 05, 2023, 06:57:19 PM
I understand what you're saying ..........but you also have to be objective in situations like this, i'm not the one to judge those people who have the potential to earn more than they think and still prefer the  easy and sell what  they have managed to earn by for having money in the moment............one would have to be in the situation they are in to know why they act in this way........is it due to immediate necessity? Or maybe they are not so aware of good money management?

Regardless of the case, and answering your question

Quote
Is it good to invest or is it good to keep looking for something to eat?

........any businessman knows that an investment at the right time brings juicy rewards, it is only having a solid strategy and carrying out a good exhaustive study in which the investment going to be made, otherwise it occurs when the assets well and they are spent immediately instead of looking for how to increase them stagnation would occur where what comes in does not work, falling into constant frustration for the simple fact of not taking risks when the possibilities existed, personally, is better to dare and live a calmer life in the long,  run than spend my days stressed.
259  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are bitcoin mixers often accused of laundering money? on: July 05, 2023, 06:09:25 PM
It is supposed that one of the main characteristics of the use of bitcoin is its privacy, imagine that a person who handles large amounts of bitcoin ceases to be anonymous, this would attract many consequences for said person, and I am not saying that it only harms him legally but that he would be in the crosshairs of individuals with bad intentions…..or they have not noticed that when someone has large amounts of money, they are persecuted and even kidnapped in order to take what they have…..this asset makes it possible to avoid these events by not being detectable.

So no, I don't think there is the possibility of preventing it from being classified as money laundering, since that would imply violating privacy, and that should not be allowed, in addition, this way an alternative is generated for these cases, the people who do They carry out this activity with the intention of laundering money, they will find a way out to continue doing it, as it has always happened, this is not something new
260  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Considerations Before Investing in Bitcoin - For Beginner on: July 04, 2023, 11:07:44 PM
Great contribution!! I highlight the point that you indicate about patience since it is essential when you invest in Bitcoin or even in any investment, the simple fact that you do not let yourself be influenced and do not let yourself be alarmed is key, if you are clear and have carried out an exhaustive study on the upcoming movements of your investment, you will not have to worry, of course, investing in anything does not guarantee anything, you must not believe that an investment can make you rich overnight... like everything in life and like in any other business we must act in the most effective way. Investing in Bitcoin I consider it one of the best investments that can be made today, observing its historical behavior you realize that, but from my point of view patience will always be better and a long-term investment with BItcoin.
