I stoped autopayouts on DwarfPool for some hours to double check after upgrade to V1.2
OK. How long can it take to check if everything is OK? BTW Info at cryptorush.in, guess they received news from Dev: Sorry, the market pair GRUMP/BTC is under maintenence.

Is this pool at the right fork??
|
|
|
Who is finding blocks now? Because it is not BA.
|
|
|
There are few things that bothers me:
- two different pools are finding the same blocks - wallet is synced but at block 20332 (new wallet with KGW) - BA pool:
Network Info Difficulty 0.11127865 Est Next Difficulty 0.00546891 (Change in 50 Blocks) Est. Avg. Time per Block 40 minutes 41 seconds Current Block 20350
Net hashrate 0.18 MH/s with 36.32 MH/s at BA pool.. strange stuff.
So it will only take ~4 days to confirm a mined block? Anybody interested in building a Grumpycoin point of sale system?! Seems like a great candidate You might want to add a pillow and a sleeping bag to your purchase, though... I know KGW is being implemented soon and things will be rolling again...but I'm a little surprised nobody saw this coming? At least there are people willing to dedicate hash power to pushing through. We are past KGW and block # 20355 is already confirmed. We are at block # 20363 now.

Almost all GRUMPs sold for 1 satoshi at cryptorush.in.

After deleting all nodes and adding 162.243.90.199:55904 wallet syncs fine but the diff is way too low and blocks are found too fast.

"Each 0.00005000 BTC received will count for 1 vote"
from their site
It would take 1 btc for 20000 votes which would put us in the lead but thats alot of money.
Says on their twitter leading coin will be picked at 3pm gmt
On the first day it was 0.00001000 BTC for each vote, so those top coins bought some "cheaper" votes. I would just wait for now and vote every hour. In few days we should collect few thousands votes easily but we need to vote, vote, vote. First register at mintpal.com to get 6 instead of 3 votes every hour. GRUMP is nice enough to get accepted there - sooner or later P.S Downloaded new wallet - everything works fine! Nice job Dev!

Templar, change title, please.
[ANN][GRUMP] Grumpycoin now on cryptorush.in! KGW in 100 blocks.
Also change at first post: " Block reward: 500,000 coins" ---> " Block reward: 250,000 coins" I think it is OK, because 500,000 is a starting reward. -Block reward: 500,000 coins -Block reward Halving: Every 20,000 blocks People should now that we started with 500,000 and after 20,000 blocks it went down to 250,000. After block 40,000 the reward will be 125,000 and so on.

EDIT: I can see that we have block explorer so i will not make next one, what for.
Why not, we can have two block explorers I guess DOGE or LTC have more than one? Plus - it would be great to have such functionality to also check GRUMPY wallet addresses and have a list of the "reachest" ones.

Trust me its not as confusing as COYNE/COYN/COIN/COYE/KOI. True!!
|
|
|
So, what's next? How is the development of the coin going? Now, we have good technical foundations, we should start to promote the coin and get it more popular. Dev - did you talk about your speech at this conference I told you about?
|
|
|
Yeah I noticed too, but its close enough. Think we are the only one with a 5 letter ticker Yeah, I mean - it is ok and looks good :-) I hope it won't confuse people but GRUM and GRUMP are quite similar, so shouldn't be a problem.

[ANN][GRUM] Grumpycoin now on cryptorush.in! KGW in 100 blocks.
Something like that?
+1 I like it! BTW I just realized that our ticker at cryptorush.in is GRUMP, not GRUM.

Why are people selling for so little Let them sell. There are always fast sellers, for every coin. In the long term we need them to have cheap supply I am pretty sure there were some fast sellers of DOGE, too

kinda funny that there are only 2 nodes
To my surpise I have 3 connections active, so much better than few days ago when I had only 1 These are my nodes in grumpycoin.conf file: addnode=162.243.90.199 addnode=201.141.146.117:55904 addnode=67.212.203.51 addnode=77.20.120.10 addnode=109.174.50.208 Regarding GRUM price at cryptorush.in - I think anything between 1 and 10 satoshi is possible. Let's not be too greedy. We need organic growth and not jumps to 10-20 satoshi, when most of GRUM holders will dump all their coins. That's not healthy for the coin. Let it grow xx% monthly and all of us should be happy, as well as all newcomers. Now I am waiting for block # 20400 when KGW will be implemented and diff retargets to some normal level. That will take 3-4 more days. If anyone wants to sell for 1.1 satoshi / GRUM please PM me

I'm not telling you what to do but I wouldn't put all of my eggs in one basket. If it ever even makes it to an exchange (I believe it will - why not?), the second this thing hits the dev is going to unload 100,000,000+ of these things that were premined.
I hope he will but I know he won't Otherwise I would be more than happy to buy 100M GRUM for 1 BTC (1 satoshi each). Let the "market" and community decide if this coin is succesfull or not.
