Also, mining GRIN, taking questions, giving bad advice. https://twitch.tv/minefarmbuy

Of course using gminer today on 29.
242  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain introduces the Antminer S17 Pro, Antminer S17, and the Antminer T17 on: July 24, 2019, 07:58:52 PM
Yea, tough sell imo but I suppose bitmain thinks otherwise. Have a couple s9s and 821s to look to upgrade to. Such a speculative purchase.

You can DM me if want to see wire/btc pricing for the units we have up.

I'd go with the single 2080 ti, imo. Though you'll get more hash rate from the 2x 2080's.

I believe the s9k might be from Malaysia but we're still waiting on confirmation but imagine it is true they are for bulk orders 200+

No word on Malaysia units but was able to get some stock for in stock units before sell out.
245  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: GekkoScience Terminus R606 750GH (up to 1TH) quiet miner, now shipping on: July 23, 2019, 05:19:17 PM
Everything on Amazon is third party. At least in regard to Gekko Science product.
246  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain introduces the Antminer S17 Pro, Antminer S17, and the Antminer T17 on: July 23, 2019, 01:35:21 PM
It's more high time preference pricing for units shipping in a week. Otherwise the Nov pre orders are reasonably priced.
247  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: GekkoScience Terminus R606 750GH (up to 1TH) quiet miner, now shipping on: July 23, 2019, 01:17:20 PM
We ship world wide pending any government sanctions.

Considering the market adjustment now it's interesting pricing.

Lot's of great noise reflection in the garage. Mostly I don't care about unless my wife does of I know I have be in there a while. First thing I did was seal my door frames. I though about building a box but I intake outside air and exhaust into the attic out the gable. There are some thinner wool insulation products out there you could line the bottom with or use sound deadening sheets like they for cars, no need to adhear them of course.
250  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon A1041 Review on: July 18, 2019, 09:45:57 PM
Dates are nice if from the manufacturer but speaking from service side there's nothing like a 1000s emails of "where's my unit" if there is a delay, etc. Half the reason we're not a reseller and typically serve those that know about how these things are released anyway.
251  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Antminer S9 SE on: July 18, 2019, 09:42:14 PM
We'll usually reserve units on releases which will go quickly there's no time to list on site or announce so it seem quiet from bitmain quite often. They did though to an announcement for the first batch s9SE I believe. Other than that you have to be diligent.
252  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Innosilicon T2T 30T Fan Speed on: July 18, 2019, 09:37:19 PM
Yea, even dialing it back some will help on longevity of the fan but well though out firmware is nice. I'll see if I can get a draw read with the one I have set up. Nice units but so far runs under just under 30ths at 2300w in factory.
253  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Innosilicon T2T 30T Fan Speed on: July 14, 2019, 09:54:52 PM
I might play around with the wiring. I imagine this is simply a "designer" version of what 4wd is talking about? probably just wire the potentiometer into a 4pin PWN extender and not alter the hardware at all. Thoughts?

Looks like I missed the link previously for this. https://noctua.at/en/products/accessories/fan-control/na-fc1

seems to work well to reduce the fans though the inno fan spec is 3.9A this is rated to 3A. So I'm wondering if there is power loss just connecting this as unit seems a little quieter with the dial turned all the way up. Still loud but I'm able to reduce speed and quiet it some. I attached two on a unit, one for each fan connection and had to " "customize" as one fan has a 6pin connection but us still only 4 wire.
254  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Antminer S9 SE on: July 14, 2019, 09:42:42 PM
You'll have order from a reseller unless Bitmain releases another batch.
255  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Innosilicon Terminator 3 on: July 14, 2019, 09:42:03 PM
Both my 30T's were pristine. UI they show about 28-32 th/s, pool side is consistent higher 29.XX th/s.
256  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Whatsminer M20 is announced and available for pre-order on: July 10, 2019, 08:45:45 PM
Wonder if you can use a shorter fan screw on broken edge?
257  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Pangolinminer & Whatsminer FAQs on: July 09, 2019, 01:45:46 AM
It's either wait patiently or pay a reseller premium. Or hold out till next bear market.
258  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Innosilicon T2T 30T Fan Speed on: July 09, 2019, 01:33:46 AM
Temps seem pretty cool though all around, a consistent 60C so I'd feel ok dropping 10-20% and monitoring.

There is an updated firmware for this unit but Inno has a warning about a psu upgrade that I'll have to research into. Nice though to have a new unit after over a year with the s9's and 821's.
259  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Innosilicon Terminator 3 on: July 09, 2019, 01:31:42 AM
Yea, my T2T 30T arrived today, fans are 100% no matter the setting. 17 settings in all on the UI only tired the main four so far.
260  Bitcoin / Mining support / Innosilicon T2T 30T Fan Speed on: July 08, 2019, 11:23:03 PM
Wondering if anyone is able to drop fan speed on their units. Imagine SSH is the procedure but I'm not shy to say I'm a scrub and have never done this on any of my antminers or avalons as I could either adjust through UI or simply inspect the UI page and display the hidden option. Wife will be killing me tonight with the noise. So I hope I'm able to live through tomorrow with some help and research. Preemptive thanks.
