Hi guys been up all night myself and am rather tired. I have already mined on pools and lost out on those coins on two occasions now myself due to the forks and hope this next attempt will be third time lucky.
I have decided to look at solo mining as I have always used pools until now. I have made a bat file with this in it "cgminer.exe --scrypt -o 127.0.0.1:3344 -u username -p password -I 13 -w 256 -g 2 --gpu-reorder --thread-concurrency 8192 --gpu-engine 1060 --gpu-memclock 1500 --gpu-powertune 0 --temp-target 80 --auto-fan" That has been put with all my other bat files in the cgminer/vertminer folder.
Should that bat just be "cgminer.exe --scrypt -o 127.0.0.1:3344 -u username -p password" or are the other settings not a issue, or is that even right?
I have also made a .CONF file that is called gpucoin.CONF and that should be put in the appdata/roaming folder with the dat file I gather.

YOu have specified rpcallowip=* rpcallowip=localhost twice. Leave just 127.0.0.1 Settings in bat file are OK, of course, if you not speicfy them, it will take them from the config. However, pool settings (in your case, solo), MUST be set from the bat file, not the config. And dont forget to start the wallet as a server first. (command line, path to wallet, and add to this -server). I assumed you needed the port number after the 127.0.0.1 guess i was wrong . I also assumed the server=1 line was for turning the wallet into the server. so much to learn it would seem. Thanks I'll try to get it working. SOrry,I made a mistake, you need: listen=1 daemon=1 server=1 gen=0 in config Now how to point multiple rigs to that ? Separating rpcallowip values with comas does not seem to work... Just put each wallet per rig on the rig itself... Too many rigs, would take me at least an hour to set it all up  In the conf file put rpcallowip=ip of each mining rig. Then on the mining rig where you write cgminer settings put -o ip of computer running wallet:rpcport that you picked...and that's it simple No yeah I get the basics but doing it like this doesnt work: rpcallowip=192.168.2.x,192.168.2.y,192.168.2.z.... The miners just wont connect make individual rpcallowip: rpcallowip=192.168.2.x rpcallowip=192.168.2.y rpcallowip=192.168.2.z..... |

It sure seems like it. And will continue until the community stops mining fail launches. I actually think they are incompetent.. Also, they don't care about coin. You can't give your word and keep changing it like that. They keep extending the re-relaunch...that is not serious at all. Not to mention the mistakes they did are very simple, like the block rewards. And even the config file was put together by an incompetent monkey |

But here's the thing: He said he would immediately call off the launch if it failed again. He's kicking the ball down the road.
Can you link to the posts where the dev said he would refund: 1) immediately, 2) prior to another launch. I saw him promise a refund if the 2nd failed, but are you sure you're not extrapolating things he did say to more specific statements that he did not? Short of logging into email, here's an even better solution, his own words of refunding if the 2nd launch of 03 mar failed: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=469887.msg5471566#msg5471566(immediately) is not there. He did state in email to that nature however, and of 1st launch fail I might add. I've been nice in keeping quiet. Other IPOs have expressed similar issue. The bigger problem is, as soon as he got BTC from us (even before launch day), he stopped responding to us/questions.How much total IPO did this guy get? 71 BTC roughly from us. I'm local to this guy. I offered my experience, I offered a global pool network to privately test the coin before launch, I offered servers and a mining farm. He ignored all of that. WHy would anyone who wants a coin to succeed, refuse any of that? 71btc?? wow...that is bigger than the 69 heist on stackcoin... |

When are we gonna get on an exchange?  Hey guys, well.. given the huge fails on other coins.. this coin actually had a pretty smooth launch I'd say. I wouldn't worry about exchanges right now. In order to recoup on your investments, getting on an exchange isn't the first priority. Right now a lot of people hold coins, miners , and investors.. yet.. there probably isn't any demand. If it went on exchange right now, it could actually be bad for this coin... The top focus should be on developing this coin.. 1) Push on technical side: - add new features and capabilities - and hey if any other coders out there feel like contributing .. source is up on github for everyone to hack 2) Push on marketing side: - develop stories, and community support - get people behind this coin. This will help you all make money.. getting on an exchange day 0, i find doesn't help all that much, checkout ZEIT.. I know that falls mostly on me.. so i will do what I am able on all fronts.... Others can jump in and help as well. You seem like a cool dev. I like that you reply to people and are active on the thread. I agree with your points,but it wouldn't be that bad to land on an exchange..however other things are more important like you mentioned. |

Is this a record breaker? Have any other coins gone through 2 fails and 3 launches? How do we know the third try isn't going to be a fail too? It's the afternoon here and I'm wide awake so I'm loving this. Record is 4 tries if I remember right  Almost there.. i don't even know if i should care about the third launch or just forget about this coin..the mistakes were simple and so stupid, i don't know how they released it..seems like they don't care |
