UpdateI am now working with a local Software Development Team here in Vancouver. The first projects we will be working on is fixing the IRC and stability followed a change to the fee system to 0.1% on all transactions in which 75% will go to the Development Fund and 25% to be paid to investors. We can also look into shortening the staking reward times from 30 days down to 10-14 days. A change to the fee system is beneficial because investors will get interest through staking as normal, plus a portion of fees from all transactions, it will also provide funding for all future projects and can be adjusted through concensus of the community. Donations do not work effectively so we believe that this is a more balanced way to provide upgrades for the Community. Further projects will include a relaunch of the Blockchain to recover all lost coins, an android wallet, integrating forums into the client and faster transaction times as well as many other further reaching projects. They are going through the Github this week and will provide us with quotes for the stability and Development Fund changes at our meeting next week. I've been following this forum for months since I'm a believer in digitalcoin, and people have kept saying that cryptoave would open soon.
Yet, it's still not around, and could maybe take many more months until finished.
What do you guys think?

I understand that we only have 4 blocks to go before we would normalize back to a workable difficulty. The real question is, was this done intentionally to hamper or diminish Fedoracoins momentum by a competitor, or was it genuinely just someone trying to cash in and hold some TIPS who dropped a ton of hashing power. If your goal was to mine a bunch and hold, why cause such a drastic effect on the network and bring the coin to it's knees? This discourages investor confidence. Unless your goal is to lower the price and buy in for even more. If that's the case and you just want to mine while the difficulty is low, wouldn't you just come back as soon as the block changes in 4 more blocks and do it again?
If it's a competitor, what's to stop them from coming back every 9th block and basically stalling the coin for the foreseeable future? The reality is, whoever did this could come back and continue this process until we hit 51000, which is still 200 blocks away. At this rate, that could take several weeks at best. I'm a little worried we might be in for a long road to the update. Hopefully i'm wrong and we hit 50800 and cruise our way to 51000 through the weekend.
Been concerned about this myself. Karmacoin sees the writing on the wall and will implement the gravity well nearly almost immediately after they seen the problem yesterday..made an announcement today and will implement the gravity well I believe tomorrow. Don't quote me on those exact days..but I believe they are about accurate....point being they know how a coin can get stuck with multipools killing it (RonPaulCoin until fixed)..and now we all know 200 blocks for TIPS MAY...I said MAY....be a bit longer than we bartered for. Go ahead and throw tomatoes at me, but I have no problem with a 0.5.7 version wallet release with gravity well implementation...like ...uh...pretty much...now (not 200+ blocks from now). I agree! Now is the time. |

Tera mentioned the final elliot wave will be slower down trend then this sharp decline. so there is that or it has seemed to have a lot of buy support in the 600s ..and then again near the 700s but it requires alot more buying volume before I'd say were done with the dumping. You should anticipate a slow decline to 200$. I'm not kidding, bitcoin is a bubble and companies who are adopting it are just greedy. Bitcoin technology is not used for what it is. This is a just a big bubble. Hahahaha!! Good one! To all the guys that are panicking a little because they bought at 100-200 LTC Satoshi I say this: HOLD !!! This coin has a great future, it is not just a pump and dump coin, the devs are good, strong community. Just compare Fedoracoin to all the other useless pump and dump coins like moon, kittehcoin, etc. Tips have a paymnt processor coming up, also, with the difficulty increase, I would not wonder if Tips are at the 300-400 level 1-3 months from now. When a BTC market is added and other good news keep rolling in, this coin will hit 1000 LTC Sathoshi. If people would just realize that holding a coin and being a bit patient pays out in the end, there would be more happy people around here. So don't panick and just HOLD !!!!! |

The orange incorporates with the somewhat established theme of the reddit and other online communities. The vote did only have the orange but we may use a variety of the two. The orange is a nice way to stand out from the crowd a bit.

Sorry me again. I think silver + blue fits much better. It is smooth, more in the background and nice to watch. You immediately focus your view on the fedora. Combined with orange. When you look at it. You give the attention to the orange circle. Because itīs an hard contrast. This orange steals the attention. just my 2 TIPS I have to agree with skillrun, blue looks better, orange seems a bit too aggressive. It draws the attention away from the hat. |
