Message about R9 280X and version 0.2.2: Yes, that works with 1 instance of silentarmy About 20 sols on stock clocks. cant start silentarmy with my r9 280x's: <info> found 5 devices Using device 0 as GPU 0 Using device 1 as GPU 1 Using device 2 as GPU 2 Using device 3 as GPU 3 Using device 4 as GPU 4 OpenCL error: -11 at /build/xpmclient/src/opencl.cpp:163

We have to mine on his pool because thats how he gets paid for creating this software
Then it would be better to have a dev fee of 1% like claymore. The 4% is too much for me. And the 4 zec minimum payout I may never reach. Minimal payout on mainnet - 0.1 ZEC, pool fee 2,5% then down to 1%. About silent army and NVidia, this kernel uses unaligned access to memory, that dosn't support by NVidia (miner crashes) and gives undefined behaivor on a part of AMD GPUs. It fast, but don't work everywhere Now this sounds great again. Silentarmy wont run with r9 280x cards, but your version giving me about 15 sols each card. Thanks again

yeah. this one.

Thats great news, eXtremal Maybe you put up a donation adress? If I can use your miner I will surely donate. Stratum support would be nice too
|
|
|
Will there also be an optimization for the older r9 280x cards? That would be great

The 280X was a very good GPU, almost as fast as 290 in many algos.
When ETH launched, it was almost as fast as a 290, however since then its mostly been going downhill.
9.6 sols on 280x vaporx (win7, 15.12 drivers) If the 290 gets like 18sol/s it should be at least 15sol/s or so. Back in the Scrypt days it got 750Kh/s while the 290s got 900Kh/s. When ETH came out it got 27MH/s while 290s got 31Mh/s On ETH you get about 16MH/s on ETH today. Zcash and 280x gives me about 9,6 sols too
