So am I getting this right? Dev DIDN't GIVE ANY INFO about this fork. How many coins exists, how they will be distributed etc. He only gives 666 coins / a day for a node?! And some people actually do it? Are you nuts?

I am slightly confused. Can someone please explain first, how do you actually get coins between 4/19-4/21 with the block explorer easter egg hunt?
Second, please explain the upper limit of coins and how much the coins/day represents. Its funny that you have a set amount of coins per day...but yet no % set as to how much this represents? Meaning....you could be giving away 1% of the total and create and keep the rest for yourself???
Answers to these would be very helpful...otherwise i good idea. I think the nodes should be a high % BTW. just my two cents...
The beauty with an easter egg hunt is that you have to search for the egg or the "treasure". It will be on the homepage at random places, at random times during the date above. The upper limit is 1B, and will always be. There is no limit in percentage of the total amount of NHZ that we give away for bountys per day. Some days will be more, some will be less (i hope not), it depends on the achivement in each bounty. Everything that is helping the currency deservers a bounty. Even us, in the development team is working for bountys. If you are talking about the percentage per day that is given away for running a node (one of many different types of bounty work), it depends on how many nodes are running. It is 666 NHZ per node. Nas is hot! But NHZ was the first Nxt fork,I think we need more marketing!
Nas did not have much marketing either. I think it is related to the release methods. Like Nxt, Nas released all coins at once. So there is no inflation in the future and buyers will buy it out of speculation. But NHZ is slowly released. If I am correct, so far less than 1% was released. That means there is a huge inflation in the future. There is less speculation value. People will hesitate to buy because they will worry about the future inflation. I suggest that you release and sell 80% of all coins at once through IPO and save 20% for bounties of nodes and dev. Distribution concentration is not a problem. Nxt and Nas have prove it. Wealth will concentrated to few people no matter what. It is a matter of time. It happens for every county and every time. Hi. I hear what you say, but we do not agree. The difference regarding this IPO is that it will continue for a long time. Right now we are giving away 100K per day in node bountys. And this is with about 150 nodes/hallmarks. This will raise exponential over time. A thousand nodes.. two thousand (each node get 666 NHZ per day)? You get my point. We are reserving that amount of funds so this is possible in long term. NHZ will focus on features inside the network. We want to build a STRONG p2p network, because it will be inside the p2p network that the magic will happen. In other currencys similar to NXT there are not that much of an incentive to run a node. We, NHZ, try a different approach. The problem, since you are mentioning NAS, is that it does not exist any form of securing the network for future growth (how many nodes do they have running?). You are only as strong as your users and the community want you to be. The currency(NHZ) IS the p2p network.Regards |

Is anyone else who uses Windows 7/8 having trouble syncing blocks on client?
I've been stuck on 1 block for a day now.

I have a running hallmarked node (vps03.xssqsfu5apuk3zgh.myfritz.net:17774). Unfortunately the node check fails (found, but shown OFFLINE).
Could it be, that the node check not supports non-standard ports (here TCP/17774)?

Hi, you can not use port 17774. Rest of the p2p network wont be able to talk to you. port 7774 tcp needs to be open. regards |

What Do you think, wouldn't it be nice to give away some coins for points in the word computing grid (fighting cancer and aids), like ripple dows with their computing for good. This coin is not seem to be a fair distribution! NXT distributed to known 73 people who accepted to risk and join! NEM is distributed to 3000 people who accepted to contribute! How about NHZ?
