Where is the source code? Why are people running binaries without the source code to check for malware etc?

Anyone managed to get set back up on 1GH pool?  ? Stratum connection fails for me.... Most of the pools are being DDoS'd atm they come up for a while and go down again. |

And to get news about MaxCoin check on their twitter https://twitter.com/maxcoinproject And they recommend to join this pool, give it a try http://maxcoinpool.com/As a lot of pools that mine maxcoin have problems ddos attack etc, any problem to join, I'll try to help you ! The DDoS attack on the pools is probably so the bot net operator can get some mining done on their own pool without much competition from the GPU miners. |

 Could someone help me? Why isn't there any blocks found? It's a Keccak-miner, else it wouldn't start. But it just wont find any blocks and when it does it's rejected due to high hash... That looks like the old CopperLark version, that's not going to work, the sha3 is different to MaxCoin. |

Miniers can't get it though there heads that a lot of traders don't mine or care about it at all, they just want the coin to buy and sell on a reasonable exchange. The launch is irrelevant to them. |

How do you even mine this, no pools?
I have been mining MaxCoin on a pool for like 8 hours. Some people are just to lazy to read through a thread to find them, even when they are mentioned over and over, then post bad assumptions. |

Well I for one lost in total about 10 Hours on this coin due to a completely UNFAIR and MESSED UP launch. As most of us make money from mining and our machine out of action means losses I personally think we should all get together ( those who has lost money due to this launch ) and consider taking a joint law suit to recover lost revenues from these devs.
You sound like you deserved to loose mining time. The devs never asked you to do a thing, mining a particular coin is vouluntary, just because you couldn't get your act together whilst others could is obviously nobody's fault but your own. I made more money mining MaxCoin today than I did mining DOGE the past week and a bit. Very pleased. Unfortunately this thread has been hijacked by a lot of stupid people. MaxCoin is an open source project, the devs don't owe the community anything. If you don't like the code then go and fix it, and contribute something back to the MaxCoin community like they have. |

I was mining 15min after they put the wallet source code up on github. It's just many miners need to be spoon fed binaries or they can't mine a thing. Those people have to wait and miss out, it's not like the instructions for compiling crypto wallets and cpuminer haven't been out there for years, it's just lots of miners are lazy and prefer to whine in forums etc. |
