OK, i was using Groestl algo, not MYR-groestl algo. It's quite different.
So, it's not pur Groestl, but the myriadcoin variante. Not specified on OP

Someone is using exploit on maxminer, look at the invalids in round shares. Someone (g23545014) send 800000% invalid, but get paid a lot (example : 2000 valids / 5000000 invalids, get 17 SUM) (and of course, never find any block)  i'm sure is not the only one

8 hours of solo mining with 60MHs with Groestl : zero block  (in fact, 2, refused) Difficulty of Groestl is way too high for solo mining. Blocks may go orphan due to all 3 algos having equal chance of finding a block. I would suggest to mine another algo until we get a Groestl pool. In fact, i found many blocs, all refused (not orphaned, directly refused) 15 is not too high for solo mining with groestl (i managed without problems to do solo mining of groestlcoin tilll diff 70) Did you correctly set groestl as algo in the saffroncoin.conf? Yes i did. |

SCAMCOIN! Non-Escrow IPO
Arguments? For example QBC and HeavyCoin have very successful IPO without escrow, but if you don't believe us, you can use an escrow. QBC had one of the worse launches ever. Not scam, but maann did everything go wrong. It was the most unfair launch in history. And I still have negative balance in a pool  true story. Everything indicates it will be dead soon. But I do like this coin, and do understand the language barriers. I see no problem any group of individuals of any nation creating a currency for any other nation, as long as its done right. I think this is the case. This is open-source, code can be reviewed, the rest is left to the market. I'm sure if its a good coin it will pick up and there will be funds to develop the quirks. I think these country coins are excellent tools for awareness and development. How are the QT's doing? Properly compiled for all platforms? Everything going as scheduled? Once mined I can see a PoS coin dying a slow death… whats the incentive? As a POW can increase value by reducing the bloc reward, POS increase value by making people holding coin/not dumping + interest. Groestl algo is very good for POW/mining. We do not have to switch to pure POS, but maybe to POW+POS, as the bloc reward continue to decrease. btw : nice presentation of Groestlcoin on cryptomining blog + new ccminer for groestlecoin (on cryptomining blog too) |

POS has the favor of the investors. Remember that the success of a coin can be thanks to his algo, but also popularity. POS coin are popular these days, even with so hatefull algo as scrypt.
