After a disastrous start by Australian batters, it looks like the partnership between Green & Cummins is coming into place. They have lost 7 wickets but are approaching a decent target. If anyone now gets out then Australia would be in trouble. New Zealand has utilized the toss to their favor and has got a good start. It only matters now is that if they can maintain this momentum. Cameroon Green is playing far better than other Australian batters and he has been maintaining the run flow without any issue, he has already got his half-century and if Cummins can give him support he can get his century.

Aus lost wickets in the wrong time especially after building partnership and not taking it to the next level. Probably it is one of the best bowling performance by NZ against AUS for very long time but still it's kind of decent total and Lyon even Hazlewood can hang around for very long time if Green decided to score big but only 10 overs remaining today and if this innings last for tomorrow then Morning will be kind of tricky again to bat and can fell short of runs. |

New Zealand team won the toss and decided to field. Australia is very strong in Test format. And in this match I consider Australia team as favorite. The main reason for this is that the New Zealand batsmen are not in good form. The performance of almost all the batsmen in the team is very erratic and weak. With such erratic performances, it is impossible to win a Test series against an experienced team like Australia.
I am also tracking the score since the match started while doing my works here and here come some interesting stats why AUS is favourite. NZ won only 1 match against OZ in 27 matches that happened in their home in the last 2 decades so it's obvious they are going in as favourite. But NZ started pretty well with few early wickets and dismissed openers after decent partnership now AUS is at 136/4 and partnership is getting closer to 50 between Green and Mitch Marsh. Already in the second session so ball is not going to swing and now it's time for OZ to punch back. |

Afghanistan's batsmen have given a very disappointing performance as they started batting in the first Test match against Ireland. Afghanistan batsmen should have batted more responsibly. Afghanistan's batsmen have had a bad performance against Sri Lanka in the Test match, so Ireland's opponents have batted very badly. The way they are batting, it looks like Afghanistan will be all out before they can even score 200 runs. Ibrahim Zadran scored the highest runs for Afghanistan. Ishan's drama was in the open so it does make sense.
But kinda surprised by Iyer's exclusion. He must have done something to piss off the management and surely his poor form in the test is not one of them. I mean dude was in red hot form in the ODI WC so clearly deserved the contract, the national contract is not about money per se but reputation.
I read that Shreyas Iyer is gonna lead the team Mumbai in Ranji Semi's against Tamil Nadu so he might have been asked by the team management to regain some form like what they asked to Ishan Kishan as well. Good to see some Youngsters got the chances as well but making series shuffles in the team combination when there are only few months away from T20 WC is kind of dangerous in my opinion but still IPL will be the decider and one who make a statement with their performance will likely to make a comeback. |

It is what makes everyone looking into the outcome makes them realize that this is a new team. I doubt anyone here would have thout about it as the way you did it. Good analysis and it is something that we never understood as we were all going after the outcome. Another game and the end result is that the outcome favoured us as a team of young players.
Still, England played well though, in my opinion. We are expected to win this series by 5-0 but they raised the expectation by winning the 1st match from no win situation and in the remaining matches also threatened India but not enough sensible play to win the matches. ENG will try to play in the same way cause that is what gave them the success when they were down and also we can't deny the Bazball made the test cricket more interesting and it's indeed when people are focused more on T20 and other shorter formats. |

What is that pakhitheboss was second last month and I am at the top  Now we are better than the Bangladesh local board, not better than the Pakistan local board  I can only say that it is a good comeback by our local board, largely due to the contest that was extended last month. I think another contest would make us beat the Pakistan local board. Someone should think about some contest to get our local board on that position. Contest can be one of the reason but whoever keep the Indian board active not doing because of monetary benefits but to make something better and not to let the board stranded. Still the number of active members are same that we used to have but everyone trying their best to keep the board active. The lead is of only 152 runs and either India will be able to chase it or lose all its wickets. The way both Indian openers played yesterday it looked like India should get those runs. But, the early morning conditions are different to the end of day condition. Therefore I agree with you that first 15 overs they need to play cautiously. If the are able to bat without losing any wickets then India would be able to win the match and the series.
India started collapsing after a great start but Gill and Jurel made sure that they are not going to let the Bazball theory to win especially Jurel who was the one gave confidence when India lost back to back three wickets and Gill can't able to rotate the strike. He is definitely one for the future and WK batter name starts with D and who know what future hold for us. India won 17th consecutive test series in home and this is the first series loss for Eng since they started following Bazball. |

It was a great opportunity for England to level the series at 2-2. They did well in the first two days, when they had India at 177/7 against England's first innings total of 353. At this point, I thought that England could have got a lead of at least 120-150. But then the partnership between Dhruv Jurel and Kuldeep Yadav took the match away from them. Even after Kuldeep got out, Akash Deep added 40 valuable runs for the 9th wicket along with Jurel.
IMO, it's more important for tail enders to keep their wicket safe especially when there is proper batter on other side, Akash Deep added 9 runs of 28 balls, it was ok contribution and wouldn't have minded even if it was 0, and he got out trying to defend too which was sensible compared how from England's side Bashir got out trying to go for big hit in first innings despite Joe Root hanging on other end. I watched videos of many coaches who only advices their bowlers/tail enders to consume atleast 30-40 balls and scoring runs is not what they except from them and Indian tail enders doing the job for years while middle orders collapses.
India is cruising toward the win and scoring in more comfortable way than ENG expected. Jaiswal got out but he has already done the job and Rohit completed his 50 too. Now India just way 95 runs away from winning the series. |

All because of Dhruv Jurel the Indian team was able to make a comeback. Kuldeep also played an important part wherein he could stick on the nonstriker end with Jurel. I felt he could get his first test 100 but Jurel got out at 90 but was able to reduce the trail to 46 runs today. England has now a lead of 46 runs and they will try to add another 330 runs to get to a comfortable position. The pitch is now favoring the spinners as both Bashir and Hartley took the highest number of wickets. Bashir got his first fifer in test cricket which is an achievement for a young bowler like him.
Dhruv Jurel played well and yes he was unsuccessful in getting his first 100 in test cricket. The other thing that I noticed is that the wicket was very effective for spinners as the new guy Bashir was able to get 4 wickets. India started very well as Ashwin got all the important batters early on in the game and finished the second innings with a fifer. Kuldeep again bowled very well, he took 4 wickets and not to forget he was the one supporting Jurel when India needed to chase those runs. The lead is not so big and last when I saw India needed 155 runs to win the fourth test. Two days are still left but Indian batter have to take all their time to chase those runs and win the series. We will have the result by tomorrow for sure, especially in the 2 sessions. India has to start with caution and aggression in the morning and let them go out of their box which is enough to win the match and I feel definitely the series in the hands now even though we still need 150 odd runs cause the wickets in hand is 10. |

Kuldeep impressed me more than Ashwin because he was turning the ball like crazy while Ashwin became the highest wicket-taker in India.
Two are different kind of spinners and generally wrist spinners can spin a lot than the finger spinners that is why you saw Kuldeep Yadav was turning balls more angle but each kind of spin has their own benefits which respective to the pitch conditions. Who really impressed with the batting skills of Kuldeep than his bowling in this match,?  |

^ I don't follow Women's cricket but today while watching the test between India vs England the commentators keep praising about both the games and last ball six to win shown multiple times which is interesting.
And also I am realising that WPL is getting more attention than most of Men's T20 leagues and Toss got a bit delayed in the second match due to the cheering from the crowd made everything inaudible for the captains to call.

India got a decent start, not losing a wicket was the biggest positive but the match is not finished and we've seen some fine collapse in this series from both teams but still it's India's game to lose as they have their nose ahead.
It's hard to lose this game for India from this stage, at last the Indian spin attack came to the party when it's needed and the inexperienced ENG giving freebies to Hitman to score some boundaries. Tomorrow is not going to be easy but if the required run was around 200 then India might stuck without knowing attack or defence but only 152 needed to so it mitigate the psychological barrier and give the freedom to play according to their ability. |

Currently there is only Jaiswal who is deserving but every time I open up the Jio Cinema app I see Gill promoting Bajaj finance. If they can go to those level why not us. Indian young talents always complaning that they are not given opportunity but look what is happening now, Patidar was so lucky to play even after back to back failures just because KL rahul is injured and Kohli is taking a break for the personal commitment which he deserves. S the team India is going back to the old era where we expect Sachin to win the entire team and if he get out then it's end of hope for India but later things changed a lot now due to shorter formats the team management is not picking up the right players for red ball cricket and they just go by the star players of IPL which is irrelevant to test format. |

He was a shit bowler and an expensive one, he reclaimed his position as a shit selector with his stupendous selection. Resting Bhumrah for what, IPL? This test series provides an opportunity to rethink why Bhumrah is so important for India. This test again speaks that Indian new comers are working piece of shit. Only exception were Jaiswal and Gill, Jurel is still batting and therefore I can't say anything about him.
Cricket is a big political game too especially in India but don't get deep into that cause it always has been like that and possible stay in that way. I just want to mention about resting Bumrah which is the right decision irrespective of IPL, he already played 3 test matches and the gap between 3rd and 4th is less so he should have recovery time and probably return for the 5th match. Indian pace attack did pretty good job especially the debutant so the blame should be about the batting unit which is completely under performed including Rohit and only exception is Jaiswal. |

At the moment India is trailing by 135 runs, 1 wicket falls from here and it'll be inning done, idk about Akash Deep but Siraj can't bat, has it been Bumrah he could hold his wicket or could bat aggressive and get quick 10-20 runs, we already saw how it turned out for England in last three wickets, 347-7 and 353 all out.
England will give 100+ runs lead IMO, let's see how it goes.
This is the most probable outcome considering the fact that Jurel and Kuldeep will be facing a new ball. Everyone keeps praising Root a lot, but the true game-changer for me was Bashir who came out of nowhere. He has serious potential. I still think India has a good chance of winning since England can collapse for a small score in the 2nd innings. Let's assume India all out and ENG got score around 120, still there is possibility to win for team India if they can restrict ENG under 200 and use their batting skill in the aggressive way whenever it's needed and then just score in singles and twos. India always troubled against quality off spinners for very long time and there is decent assistance in the pitch then as usual the batting order collapsed. |

ENG spin outplayed the Indian batting and I don't know what is the point of saying Indian are good at playing the spin tracks when there is little assistance came in for an inexperienced bowling unit.
Kuldeep stood like a wall at one end which saved Indian from big deficit but ENG surely in a driving seat at this match now, so tomorrow India has to give their 100% as team if they want to win the match or else the series is going to be 2-2. Patidar again failed after good start but as said umpiring went completely against team India until now that hurt more than they supposed to be.

In the first innings of India vs England fourth test match when England won the toss and decided to bat. England team lost five wickets to collect 112 runs. But England batsman Root batted very well. Root has already scored a century in the first innings. If this batsman Root can bat responsibly in the second innings, then maybe he can give India a lead of around 400 runs in the fourth test match, then the game will be competitive. Because India is undoubtedly a strong team and they perform better on their home soil, the lead of 400 runs will not be too much, so if England can bowl control, maybe the lead of 400 runs will be perfect for a fair fight.
England recovered from the first session crisis and it doesn't happen with their basball approach but only due to the traditional test batting technique to keep playing and playing and let the opposition to wait things to happen. Thaat is what Root is known for doing and it really helped today as well for ENG or else they could have been all out for 250 or something like that. Still Indian batting is in complete form, so they will also be ready to put up high scores. |

The fourth test started with England winning the toss and choosing to bat first. Akash Deep debuted in the fourth test and took 3 wickets early in the match. Amazing debut by him claiming 3 is not expected from someone bowling for the first time in international test cricket.
Joe Root after missing out on runs got his first century in this series. This guy can easily go for a double-century if he keeps on batting the way he has been on the first day. Rajat Patidar has been retained and it was expected that he should be given more opportunities to prove himself.
As of now England has lost 7 wickets and has got 282 runs. If Root keeps batting then they could easily get 400 runs on the scoreboard.
Akash deep was unlucky in the early to get a wicket early and it becomes a noball but he just kept things clear and applied everything to make an impact, really excellent performance from another debutant. While Indian spin unit is not giving threaten and they literally let a golden opportunity to wrap them cause they got 5 wickets in the first session itself but they let the root and foakes to drag post lunch session which gave back the lost confidence for ENG. |
