Picking up on the Bitcoin ATM story we recently posted, Kurt Looyens, CEO, GBX commented that while he sees this as a reflection of the overall changing of the payment world turning to digital, there is much more still to be done:

“The current economy in some countries may facilitate the need for cash-backed facilities like bitcoin ATMs, but in the digital future, these devices will have to drastically reduce fees and offer equitable conversion rates in order to compete,”

More than 5,000 crypto ATMs have now been installed across 76 countries, with the US making up more than half of that number. Over the last 2 months there have been an average of 6 Bitcoin ATM's installed per day. It is clear that this is a rapidly growing market.

So, the FATF rules are now set in stone!

Calling the “threat of criminal and terrorist misuse of virtual assets” a “serious and urgent” issue, FATF said in a public statement that it will give countries 12 months to abide by the guidelines, with a review set for June 2020.

"FATF is also giving countries the option of requiring any VASPs that provide products or services within their jurisdiction to register with the appropriate authorities."

Just to remind you: A full application is made up of several individual cards. Each card is a configurable, functional unit that can be easily reused and cross-referenced on the internet.

Hi there, that is up to yourself if you wish to write an article. There is no bounty or rewards program currently ongoing however!

The team are currently handling the moderation for videos. Ultimately it will be a decentralized moderation process, uploaders will have to stake tokens, which they will lose should the video have copyright infringements, and then a community moderation system will be in place with community members moderating the new submissions.

Hi there, The change only affects users who access Bancor Network via the web application. The blockchain is always accessible, as are all APIs. The Bancor Widget will not be available to US-based users or US citizens and domiciliaries using a Bancor Wallet. Use of the widget using selected third party wallets will not be affected.
