ye no, those are a bunch of muppets, a better theory i saw was because of the amount of zeit a lot of the whales are perfectly happy making 100% profit on this coin, so they buy at 1 sell at 2 or 3 and double their money, so for them to keep it bouncing between 1sat and 3sat is perfect, buy low sell slightly higher, rinse and repeat!

oh, Zeit is back down to 1 sat....
Yeah, there's a team killing alt coins they don't like. We are a target. evidence???

Tah lion. just a quick rant! these fuckers who are facking up the value of zeit really are grinding my gears! its the stale mate that kills coins! even if we build projects etc its still going to be hard as hell to move those dam walls! im pretty annoyed with crypto markets in general but to see my nice innocent zeit suffering because of arse holes is wearing my patience thin! rant over

Yep, that's the one I dont like it. It seems a kind of future toaster, but about likes... I prefer something more clean, flat and simple, but elegant, scientific, geometric accuracy, etc... guys its the skill involved in making it! thats not easily made and who ever did it knows what they doing....i think thats the point

It seemed to make sense from my limited understanding and lack of awareness in the specific algorithms for proof of stake
currently looking at the source code, its likely i was wrong
if only it wasn't such a disorganized mess i could of avoided this embarrassment
having a mini freak out are we? haha I understand what you getting at, but im sure this was thought of by who ever created the original concept of pos as this is a clone! fortunately there are other coins ahead of us so we can see what happens and get out before the shit hits but I highly doubt it. Please post your findings here if you dont mind i would need someone more versed with the code to explain how it all fits together, my limited grasp is not good enough and my C++ skills needs some refreshing it may not be possible to do enough consecutive blocks without too many interrupting valid blocks to do 51% attack altho from what i understand i cannot guarantee it cant happen it seems possible to cause constant high difficulty and make PoW block mining impossible im currently on the fence until someone can explain how the PoS block limitations work, the whole you need >51% supply for an attack seems to be a myth based on the code i have read Im also not sure about this 51% business, iv read that it needs to be in the 80's for it to even be possible! I'd hope who ever came up with the concept of POS was an intelligent individual and therefore would have thought about what we are discussing. 51% allows you to maintain the longest chain and therefore set what transactions get included, you can do Denial of Service by not allowing any transaction in the blocks or double spending by making it accept in one block but then continue on an other chain with another transaction and make that one longer, making the tone the merchant thought valid, invalid. but the possibility of this can cause panic and loss of faith in coin. someone or some group may have an interest in DOSing a coin the more i think about it the more doubt i have about how much consideration was done for making sure PoS is infallible. Humans cannot consider everything and with code only a few understand it would be hard to catch all the possible inconsideration's in time. well I hope for your sake you not solely invested in zeit if you so worried? at the end of the day all these cryptos are vulnerable to something so guess we have to just place our bets or find away to change things

Forgive my ignorance, but how is this coin any better than Mintcoin? Let's say I have 1 BTC to spend in altcoins, why should I buy Zeitcoins instead of Mintcoins? I'm asking a serious question! I couldn't find much information regarding Zeit vs. Mint. Thanks! ZeitCoin is a social movement coin, look at Zeitgeist Movement and The Venus Project for the ideologies. very active community with a lot of ppl invested deeply in the coin! this wont make you a quick buck but is something worth watching as it will go places because of the constant activity from devs and community you could do both to cover bases.

Hello All, CryptoCoinz has done it again. Here is the New Mac OSX Wallet. Wallet has been scanned for Virus. Wallet works Great. We have included the nodes into the wallet so NO need to make Conf. https://mega.co.nz/#!HFR0BI5T!s2n97Bea60HwpNanKTyLO7hqmno4xq56Ui8nYTKW_ts added to OP anyway to make this wallet work for older version of mac osx? running snow leopard and it wont open. thanks

Who's ready for the attack on that 3 sat wall!?
Don't do this IMO. The absolute value will raise when the global cryptocurrencies market will raise. The relative value need more than aimless trade to long-term raise. It's a waste of energy to lead community this way. Promote zeitcoin in real life is far more beneficial. Just my 2 zeitcents. See your point, but on the flip side if that wall does come down and stays down or near to collapsing then when market does raise again zeit will be in a better position, that 3at wall is huge and we want that gone or almost gone when the market bounces back!

Can anybody tell why Zeitcoin wallet for Windows is loading my processor on 50-60%?
Because it's syncing? It is synced already, unlocked and opened for minting perhaps a virus is trying to bruteforce it? its also possible to bruteforce remotely,if your rpc port is open hmmm, okey, but if I'll open my wallet, for example, 2 times/day, I'll recieve all minting coins? yep
