241  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Paid to gamble on: January 12, 2016, 10:37:42 PM
If there's no risk, it doesn't seem like gambling to me. Just another game.

The risk is you waste your time and life is finite.  You either waste time because you dont make any profit or you waste time because you could have found more entertainment elsewhere.
You're not risking to lose your life though, lol.

Nope you have 70 whatever years on average if you are lucky so you only lose your life if you spend your whole time grinding faucets haha.  People only waste their time for so long and then reality sets in and they have to change tactics.

If you're getting free coins from a faucet, and that site has a casino, which DOESN'T allow you to deposit ANY funds, is it considered as gambling if you use/play any of those games?

Been trying to figure out this thing for a week, but there's so much contradiction for both answers, so I am not sure how to pick "the right" answer, if there is one.

Yes because it takes your time and effort to get the "free" coins.  Everyones time has a monetary value.  You then gamble that converted time for more money.
244  Economy / Speculation / Re: When to hit $10,000? on: January 12, 2016, 10:05:17 AM
People have some high dreams now a days I think it will take more than 20 year that to happen.
If some day we will see bitcoin stable at the price of 5.000 dollars.
I think we will see going to 10.000 dollars, but you know bitcoin is not always stable with the price.

20 years im not sure its possible it takes that long.  How long do we need for bitcoin to be the complete product, about 5-10 years max? I think $10k in next 2 years myself.
245  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Who was running Vircurex? on: January 12, 2016, 09:50:12 AM
Does anyone have any knowledge about who was running Vircurex? I had some coins deposited with them from way back and only recently went back to review the history of their apparent scams.

It seems they are not answering any queries at this point.

I remember one of their admins was a user on bitcointalk but you'd have to search back to find out who.  Not that that will help you much they never answered me via email back before they pulled scams tbh.
246  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [poll] What do you currently use Bitcoin for? on: January 12, 2016, 09:35:43 AM
What do you currently use Bitcoin for the most?

I intentionally left out an 'other' or 'both' option. I want people to chose from the given options.
I only want to know what your currently using bitcoin for not what you intended to use it as or one day hope to use it as. Only what your currently using it for the most!

Mostly i use it for wealth storage and i see this is the most popular with other people. Bitcoin is excellent for wealth storage imo what other choices do you have... gold when its limits are not known, or housing when its partly backed by gov and your countries army.  I will stick with bitcoin as best option Smiley.
247  Economy / Economics / Re: Mining coins save or sell it? on: January 11, 2016, 08:00:14 PM
Right now i trying to mining a lot of coins, i thinking its mabey its good to save the coins like 6-12 mdr before selling it.

Can orther explain about its a good point else about the risk its to high to lose to lot on it?

It depends because you cant save all bitcoins you mine if you run a decent sized opperation.  You could save all the profit from coins you make and just cash in for electric. But it also depends on how old you are and any other investments + income. I know i suggest saving as much as possible.
248  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: January 11, 2016, 05:06:19 PM
Newcastle vs Man Utd tomorrow

What does everybody think, both teams to score? Man Utd to win? There are only two other games Tuesday & I don't like the look of them to bet on.

Wednesday is a better day for gambling, more games.

Newcastle 1-0 haha.  I dont know impossible to predict this one.  I think we can say for sure it will be boring since man united will control possession but not shoot.
249  Economy / Gambling / Re: where the best poker sites now? .... on: January 11, 2016, 04:58:41 PM
whether you play poker to have to spend all the money Huh? tell me where the best poker site

Why would you want to spend all the money on poker ?Typically, people prefer shopping or eating a pizza.Since you've asked. Here are a couple of links you can spend your bitcoins on and might as well get lucky to get double of it back.
https://www.luckybtccasino.com/

https://fortunejack.com/

It is not really clear what OP is asking for, whether he want to play pvp poker or videopoker.  But seems that he want to play pvp poker because, he wont create a new to thread if he want to play video poker which is very easy to find (almost all casino provides video poker game)

PVP poker and video poker is such a different game it might aswell not be put in the same category.  PVP poker is like a sport, video poker is purely entertainment.
250  Other / Off-topic / Re: If You Won A Million Dollars.. How Much Bitcoin Would You Buy? on: January 11, 2016, 11:33:01 AM
Lets say you won the lottery..

Would you buy a heap load of bitcoin to sit on?

If so.. how much?

I feel like i need to hold more of my networth in bitcoin % wise the poor i am to have a better chance of making it turn into something worthwhile. Im pretty sure most people do this.  If i had 1 million bucks i would probably put 10% in bitcoin i guess.
251  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: January 11, 2016, 11:26:26 AM
now it's time to manchester city take first position...

MY BET:
arsenal VS liverpool (X) --- hard, but it's football mannnn...
(X) manchester city VS everton
leicester VS tottenham (X)

hehe GO MAC  Cool
Liverpool and Tottenham winning next game it's very difficult on them Liverpoll just drawed vs Exter and playing away vs Arsenal also Tottenham got lucky today drawing with Leicester and i think Leicester are focusing on the premiere league more then the cup

Liverpool are at home against Arsenal. That guy is wrong. I'm a Liverpool fan.

I think it might be a draw or an Arsenal win, we have shit loads of injuries.

Sakho, Lovren, Skrtel, Henderson, Coutinho, Ings, Gomez, Sturridge & Origi are all out injured for this game.

Looks like a great time to bet on arsenal this time with that amount of players out.  Being away you'll get better odds obv. Arsenal have a few injuries but nothing like liverpool atm.
252  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: January 10, 2016, 08:27:43 PM
Tottenham - Leicester - 1
I think Leicester City focus on Premier League and they sacrifice FA Cup. Tottenham will win this one.

Yeah was thinking the exact same thing and then leicester were leading the whole game.  In the end tottehnham were lucky to grab a replay.
253  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: January 10, 2016, 01:15:21 PM
My predictions and betting slip for these matches look this way.
Oxford Utd v Swansea  Swansea to win @2.44 ML
Chelsea v Scunthorpe over 2.5 goals @1.38
Tottenham v Leicester both teams to score @1.77

Im actually going for leicester to completely not show up for this game.  The premier league is much more important and making the champions league is massive compared to even winning the FA cup.  Tottenham are in decent form im going with 3-0 spurs.
254  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Would you eat a human? on: January 10, 2016, 01:13:28 PM
Absolutely not no way never..

If you were totally starving and about to die and you had a dead human next to you you could cook up with a nice little honey glaze im sure you would react purely on instinct.
255  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your plan to get rich with Bitcoin? on: January 09, 2016, 10:55:26 AM
Hey guys,

I just spoke to a guy over chat who told me his plan was to get 100 BTC, wait for the price to reach $5k per BTC and retire after that. Since he lives in a third world county, that might be possible for him. I know this is a simplification of the problem but I d like to know what s your plan. How many BTC is your goal, at what price and what happens once you reach that goal. After all, we have all been involved in a dream, why not dream it a bit more.  Grin

The price could do something like reach $5k and drop to $1k so he would have to sell in all which would be a really hard thing to do.  It could also reach very high price and die completely after.

257  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The space launchings aren't putting food on your table. on: January 07, 2016, 11:50:46 AM
I need to know what the point of spending thousands of US dollars on space trips is meant for. I don't know what we've accomplished and found beneficial to society and the overall growth of human living by having money and such being tossed for the government to send random men up into space. I don't understand why space travel is so necessary. Please tell me how the moon launchings weren't fake, or needed for the human race.

Its so the rich people can go off and live in space when they've messed up our planet most likely, mean time they make us pay for it.  I'd like to see humanity just pause for a second and sort out the problems on our own planet then worry about space travel.
258  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Would you eat a human? on: January 07, 2016, 11:47:19 AM
What if it was the sacrificed child of your enemy? What if it gave you secret powers? What if it held the key to world domination? Would you do it? Would you eat another person?

I cant say for sure because it depends on the context but mostly i think i would only do it to survive.  At that moment i would consider myself not really with a choice and in control of my actions.
259  Economy / Gambling / Re: Would you be up for a Poker League for members of this forum? on: January 07, 2016, 11:43:43 AM
No!

Only reason because I don't know how to play poker Grin

Takes probably 1 hour to work out the basics and a few years to master - this is why its so popular.  Everyone can play poker with a little time its not rocket science. Smiley
260  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why next pump might be completely different on: January 07, 2016, 11:36:18 AM
So far the largest financial crisis to impact Bitcoin has been Cyprus. What a tiny tiny tiny tiny little country.

What happens when China plummets...........

Yeah i think if china goes the world is going to change at least for a while.  I run my current business mostly around buying crap from china like a gazillion other people.  I'd like to see what happens.
