241  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you take time to read the terms and conditions of casinos before registering? on: February 11, 2024, 02:36:25 PM
The terms and conditions of casinos and other companies is usually very lengthy and somehow boring for some people. Hence , many people rarely find time to read them. They may actually contain some of the complaints that people raise about some casinos such requiring KYC if there is need or suspicion of money laundering activities.

What is your take on this?
Before creating a casino/gambling account there are certain important gambling policies that must be read before creating an account. Many people don't read all these policies before creating this account and later make multiple complaints. If the account is created without knowing about these policies, then after creating the account, there is trouble in making deposits and withdrawals. You will be informed about the terms and conditions after creating the account, so you don't have to face any trouble related to the account later.
242  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will it have positive/negative on bitcoin development? on: February 11, 2024, 01:58:30 PM
I was reading an article this morning and I saw on it, there is an ongoing legal battle between a computer scientist Craig Wright claiming to gain control of the intellectual property behind the digital currency bitcoin.
Source
I'm having these thoughts  because since the creation of Bitcoin, Bitcoin has recorded massive and rapid growth since it's developement. The developer, developed it and made his identity unknown. However, what will be the impact ( positive/ negative) on Bitcoin if the developer of the decentralised cryptocurrency bitcoin is known.
Craig Wright has identified himself as Satoshi Nakamato several times in the past but was repeatedly rejected as Satoshi Nakamato because he could not produce legal documents. Although Craig Wright has been trying his best to prove himself as Satoshi Nakamato so far, he has been rejected each time for mere credentials. His repeated attempts did not make any impact on the Bitcoin market, but his futile efforts will not be useful for Bitcoin development either.
243  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A student investing in bitcoin? on: February 11, 2024, 01:52:20 PM
No matter how knowledgeable a student or teacher is, he must gather some general knowledge about Bitcoin before investing in Bitcoin. There are some important pre-conditions that must be followed when investing in Bitcoin. Most of the time investing in bitcoin without following the fund budget as well as market overview to invest is risky. Practical knowledge is more important than theoretical knowledge when it comes to Bitcoin investment. For those who can use their prior experience in Bitcoin investing, the risk is much lower and the profit potential is much higher.
244  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you beleive in the concept of "Luck"? on: February 10, 2024, 01:09:29 PM
Hello everyone!

Recently, I was thinking about the concept of luck in my life and how lucky I am. And I wondered how other people, especially gamblers, perceive this concept.

It would be interesting to read your thoughts.

You can answer these questions, for example:

  • Do you believe in Luck? If so, how do you describe your perception of this concept?
  • How lucky do you think you are from 1 to 10?
  • Does your sense of luck in regular life correlate with your luck in gambling?
  • Do you believe that some special things or actions can increase your luck?

And do not hesitate to share any other thoughts about it. Let's discuss!
People give more importance to luck in gambling especially most gamblers who are very experienced give more importance to luck in gambling. But gambling is an uncertain and uncertain possibility where one cannot fix or say anything in advance. If someone could make these predictions in gambling in advance, not everyone would lose the bet but everyone would win the bet every time.
But there are no actions or skills to change fate. There are many gamblers who are very experienced and have mastered some important gambling techniques who have a slightly higher chance of winning gambling bets. But so far no technique or formula has been discovered to change fate.
245  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin be stolen? on: February 10, 2024, 12:57:09 PM
Yes, Bitcoin can be stolen through various means such as hacking, phishing, malware attacks, or physical theft of devices where Bitcoin is stored. It's important to take necessary security measures to protect your Bitcoin holdings, such as using secure wallets, enabling two-factor authentication, and keeping your private keys safe.
Hacking is one of the biggest reasons why Bitcoins can be stolen in different ways. Bitcoins can certainly be stolen if a wallet is hacked. Or if the device in which Bitcoin is stored (laptop, tablet, mobile phone) is stolen, then Bitcoin can be stolen. Many times different investors hold Bitcoin holdings in exchange wallets for some reason if that central exchange is hacked then there is a possibility that the Bitcoins will be stolen.
If device lost, then Bitcoin would be lost for ever.
If 12/24 phases lost or hacked, then Bitcoin would be lost for ever.
If centralized exchange would be hacked, then Bitcoin would be lost for ever.
246  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Help me understand this apparent contradiction between bitcoin and inflation on: February 10, 2024, 12:47:28 PM
In my country, when inflation goes up, all foreign currencies, including the USD, go up. That means our native currency value has dipped due to inflation. So it's expected that the Bitcoin price will also rise when inflation increases. And due to the volatile behaviour of Bitcoin, it would rise more compared to foreign currencies. Usually, when inflation increases, we search for more income sources. As a result, those who are familiar with Bitcoin begin to accumulate it, causing the Bitcoin price to rise even further.
Inflation in my country like yours causes the value of foreign currencies to increase massively. I can easily estimate if I compare the value of my country's money to the dollar ratio ten years ago. In 2014 one dollar was equal to 70 taka in my country but now one dollar is equal to 125 taka which is about 200 percent inflation. Earlier in my country the prices of daily necessities were within the purchasing range of peopleBut currently due to inflation people are out of purchasing power. But if transactions are done through Bitcoin, then I think it will be possible to reduce the amount of inflation to a large extent. As bitcoin is not legal in my country it is not possible to deflate inflation with bitcoin for now.
247  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins that you will be hold till next Bull Run on: February 09, 2024, 11:59:56 AM
Although current crypto market situation is very disappointing. Investors also showing less interested investing in new coins even most of new coins are also shitcoins. Altcoins crypto market pumped a little, a month ago but still no impressive movement is found. Wel  During this situation, what are you thinking and how you preparing for next bull run?  Which Altcoins you are planning to be hold untill next bull run?
No altcoin should be held long-term without verification in the crypto currency market as any altcoin can turn into Shitcoin at any time. But there is no problem if you can invest in the leading and popular altcoins in the market. If you invest in popular altcoins such as Ethereum, Binance Coin, Litecoin, Bitcoin cash, TIA, Shiba Inu, XRP, Solana, DogeCoin, Cardano, SEI, etc., there will definitely be a possibility of profit.
However, if the investor in the market invests by following the plan, the risk is less. But in my opinion it should be wise not to invest all the funds in any one altcoin rather it must be wise to invest partially and percentage wise in different altcoins following DCA method.
248  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price: $35K or $45K next? on: February 09, 2024, 10:54:06 AM
Well we have our answer now, the price is currently $45,200. It’d be nice if we have a pre-halving rally, we’re definitely about to enter the fun zone of this cycle.

I hope we never see $35,000 ever again, if that’s at all possible.
Bitcoin price is always above $46200 today. I think Bitcoin will stay above $45000 throughout the month of February. I don't think bitcoin will ever go below $35k before the halving and it always looks like bitcoin will stay above $40k before the halving.
However, it is not possible to predict anything with certainty about the Bitcoin market because the Bitcoin market often depends on various positive and negative announcements. If there is a good announcement in the market then the market is likely to increase or if there is any negative announcement in the market then the market is likely to undergo a major correction.
249  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will government recognition kill cryptocurrency or boost! on: February 08, 2024, 09:16:10 PM
Bitcoin If all the governments of the world get together and play a very aggressive role, then it is possible for the government to destroy Bitcoin, but not all the governments of the world will play an aggressive role to destroy Bitcoin in this way. Bitcoin will never be under the control of the government and central bank, so no government and central bank will recognize bitcoin easily. But the government has an important consideration on Bitcoin What will not give a negative view is that millions of investors of a country have already invested and held on Bitcoin, so if the government of a country has an aggressive negative impact on Bitcoin, then what will be the investment of millions of investors of that country. Governments do not give a negative view on Bitcoin without considering various issues and central banks too Not opposed to Bitcoin.
250  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Help me understand this apparent contradiction between bitcoin and inflation on: February 08, 2024, 08:58:28 PM
You always hear the pundits saying that the rise of inflation suppresses the price of risk assets such as stocks and bitcoin, as interest rates are pushed up in an attempt to control inflation.

But if bitcoin is a hedge against inflation then shouldn't the bitcoin price rise when inflation goes up instead of going down?
I'm guessing the answer would be that inflation causes bitcoin price to go down in the short term, but in the long term causes it to go up? If so then why?

Inflation and Bitcoin are two completely opposite things. Inflation is a central issue and is controlled by a third party. Inflation occurs when supply is increased along with supply. Here it does not depend whether the price rises in the market or not but only if both demand and supply become uncontrolled then inflation occurs. But inflation in the case of BitcoinThere is no chance of that happening because it is a decentralized currency and its control system is not over any third party who can influence supply and demand. The total supply of Bitcoin is 21 million. In this case, no matter how much we increase the demand for Bitcoin, there is no way to increase the supply, so there is no possibility of inflation in the case of Bitcoin.
251  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Struggle now to invest in Bitcoin for a bright future. on: February 08, 2024, 08:46:19 PM
Many of us know about Bitcoin. But due to a lack of funds, we regret about Bitcoin investment. Many people, particularly those from low-income families, regret when we can't invest in Bitcoin. Though we can't solve this problem, we can struggle to achieve our goal. For our daily needs, we must need money to survive. Sometimes we spend money on unnecessary things. So we can avoid spending unnecessary money because we can survive without it. And we can start investing in Bitcoin with that money. We have to find a solid income source, even if it is small. So we can go ahead with our bitcoin investment. If we struggle now, we may build a bright future. Even students could save some money from their daily spending and invest in Bitcoin.
Your idea sounds great to me especially for those of us who don't have enough funds to invest in Bitcoin but have a plan, there can be no better plan. I have to spend $1 a day to buy cigarettes and this expenditure is unnecessary for me. If I buy cigarettes or trucks every day and save money to invest in bitcoins at the end of the month then I have bitcoinsInvesting will be easy. Besides, I have a lot of unnecessary expenses other than cigarettes that I don't need to spend on, but investing in bitcoins will make my monthly investment a good one. Indeed this important idea of yours is timely and very fruitful for poor and middle class investors.
252  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Another health benefit of online gambling on: February 06, 2024, 01:11:07 AM
I can't accept that gambling has health benefits but its overall harmfulness and imbalance in society. A gambler can never be socially perfect as there is a possibility for him to create turmoil in a family and commit various social crimes and misdeeds. A family never expects anything good from a gambler but always he starts causing financial disaster to the family as well as relationships.
253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: help me choose the best possible ALTCOINS for 2024/2025 on: February 05, 2024, 01:50:17 AM
Caution must be exercised when investing in altcoins, especially avoiding investing in altcoins that have the potential to go down in the market. However, there are some popular altcoins that are definitely low-risk and potentially very profitable in the future.
Solana,Ordi, Aave , TIA, Shiba Inu, XRP, Litecoin, Bitcoin cash, Manta, ADA, Near Protocol, Polkadot, etc could be the best investment for altcoins for 2024-2025.
254  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP - yes or no? on: February 05, 2024, 01:44:19 AM
Obviously yes .
I definitely agree with investing in XRP but investing in XRP has no chance of overnight profit as it appreciates very slowly. If anyone wants to invest in XRP then he must adopt a long term investment plan. XRP will not get any good profit if you invest in short term, therefore XRP should be invested for at least two years.
255  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin be stolen? on: February 05, 2024, 01:40:04 AM
Like money, gold, and valuables, Bitcoin can be stolen. If the Bitcoins are stored in a safe place i.e. if the wallet in which they are stored is hacked then it is possible to steal the Bitcoins as well. Everyone should store Bitcoin storage devices securely so that no one can hack those wallets.
256  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can Bitcoin Drop to Zero? on: February 04, 2024, 06:28:23 AM
Former deputy governor, BOE believes Bitcoin can drop to zero. I wonder what his opinion is at the moment.

"Their price can vary quite considerably and they could theoretically or practically drop to zero." Jon Cunliffe saiid.

And what's the different between theoritical and practical drop to zero for BTC?

Can the price theoritically drop to zero but practically trade above $40k. Kinda confusing.
Different people have different theories and opinions about Bitcoin but the impact of these people's opinions on the value of Bitcoin has never been observed. If someone has expressed the opinion that the value of Bitcoin will reach zero, then he has expressed his own opinion. Currently, there is no environment for the price of Bitcoin to reach zero, and the control system of Bitcoin is not in the hands of a third party who can bring it to zero at will.
257  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will government recognition kill cryptocurrency or boost! on: February 04, 2024, 06:24:16 AM
Bitcoin is fully decentralized currency whereas central bank and government currency (fiat) is fully centralized currency. The country's central bank and government never want its native currency and central bank to be replaced by a virtual currency. So the government is completely against bitcoin and never the government wants bitcoin to be more popular than the central bank. However, the government can certainly increase the popularity of Bitcoin to a large extent if it wants to, but the government never works to increase the acceptance and popularity of Bitcoin out of its own will.
258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 10k investment on: February 04, 2024, 06:14:08 AM
Hi,

I’m looking to invest 10k, I’m trying to decide if to go with XRP or ADA.

In terms of holding I can do it for 1-3 years no real time limit. Not sure what returns I might get short term vs long term. ADA for example i might get 3 to 4 x return, however with XRP that might be a lot more should they win the court case.

My slight worry is what happens if XRP lose.

P
Since you have a plan to invest $10k then why would you invest in any altcoin other than Bitcoin. You should invest on Bitcoin and more altcoins. If you want to invest then definitely you should invest both XRP and ADA in DCA method. You can divide your ten thousand dollars into different parts and subtract on different coins. You don't invest your ten thousand dollars on any one particular coin.
259  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If you had $500, which coins would you choose to buy on: February 03, 2024, 02:27:24 AM
If you had $500, which coins would you choose to buy
If I had $500 dollars I would invest in several of the following coins. I tried to invest in the most popular coins in the market because investing in popular coins in the coin market is less risky. If I had $500 I would invest in the following five coins in five steps.
Ethereum
Solana
TIA
Litecoin
Near Protocol
260  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's the possibility of discovering a memecoin that could change your life? on: February 03, 2024, 02:21:16 AM
Cryptocurrencies are a complete investment gamble because no one can say for sure when it will change people's fortunes. If someone gets lucky by investing in good Memecoin then he can become rich by investing in these coins. I haven't had any luck so far that I can invest in and change my situation.
