241  Economy / Economics / Re: Is risky to invest this period on: May 20, 2023, 10:55:20 AM
From the look of things bitcoin price will not come up soon, I guess is better to hold on till when it will show strong signal before putting in money again to escape losses and people who their investment is long over due are already victims of the Price dropping. We should try to be careful this period that bitcoin has not direction. Imagine a friend investment $2000 but what is currently left in his wallet is $400, and the deep is still bearing down the nuds.

Hold on, but if you must buy now be wise to use spare income.

and one more Greggry (OP), excuse me, I will add, What causes dominant traders to lose?? because they like to go against the mainstream and like to participate in temporary pumps of some altcoins especially when BTC is correcting.
242  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [NEWS] Bitcoin Provides Insurance Against Fiat Currency Failure on: May 20, 2023, 10:43:42 AM
Cryptocurrency assure to function against the inflated fiat currencies, but it is also noted that bitcoin can also be at the same situation (bearish) at the time of fiat failure. With bitcoin we should have the patience, and it assure you with the growth. The limited supply is the best thing that makes bitcoin stand high against the inflation. It can also be used as a multipurpose asset, which is the best part of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. The varying growth lets user to generate profit through trading practice, holding gives increase in the portfolio value, can be used for transaction.

That right and we will witness the market's response to the speech delivered by Mr. Powell, the Chairman of the Federal Reserve today.
243  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in Bitcoin in Student Life on: May 20, 2023, 10:09:10 AM
A friend suggested Bitcoin to me about 1 year ago. I have been trying to learn the history of Bitcoin ever since. How to earn from Bitcoin, I learned that investing will make profit or loss. Success can never be achieved without risk. Then I became interested in investing in Bitcoin. My family is a very poor family. I am studying now and earning BDT 7000 per month from tuition, BDT 3000 I spend on running my household. BDT 3000 is my monthly expenses and I save BDT 1000, I save around BDT 10000 in a year and invest in Bitcoin. I will hold the investment for a long time. According to many researchers, we will soon see a bull market. Bitcoin will be over $100K in 2025

But the main thing is that bitcoin is still illegal in our country, I invested bitcoin very carefully.

Lately I think it is better to invest in bitcoins than depositing money in the bank. Day by day people have lost trust in banks. It is heard that many banks are going bankrupt and closing down.

I quote one of the sentences you wrote, "Lately I think it's better to invest in bitcoin than keeping money in the bank." Great motivation if you keep your money in the bank you can't trade with crypto that's for sure and lots of options to roll with. but, in my opinion both are interrelated and need each other. It's just that each holds the principle. what's wrong with cooperation where banks can benefit users also have choices in investing. If you see mutual benefit.

As a small example, to be able to buy a certain amount of BTC a person has to deposit a certain amount of fiat or usdt, then he can shop and if profitable, if he trades the user uses bank services for fiat withdrawals through a trading platform that has passed KYC and payments will be redirected to the registered user account. set to process WD.
244  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The importance and distinction between Verification and Authentication. on: May 20, 2023, 09:55:08 AM
For those who are seeking new ways to bypass the KYC verification on any platform, you are at the mercy of hackers, scammers and even the platforms, because they can fold up with your currency gone, and you wouldn't even know where to begin from.
Sometimes KYC is feared too much that the fear leads other people into making more terrible mistakes by signing up for websites that do not require any KYC, just saying.

KYC according to the meaning is more for the company to know you than for you to know them, so there is really no protection for you, but on the side of the company, it is to make sure that they know who is joining and using their website.

Therefore I am looking for a trading platform that already has permission and legality from the local government. So, that it is easy and safe to make crypto transactions. I save all related data in pdf format in case of need at any time. If the user does not perform KYC, the consequence is that they cannot perform the WD process.
245  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your Life After 10 years in Bitcoin... on: May 20, 2023, 09:30:41 AM

Now bitcoin is preparing to reach another ATH. Are you still there and holding your bitcoins? What happened to your life after 10 years in bitcoin? Is there any changes?

Currently, market conditions are not friendly, still dominated by corrections and there are many obstacles for BTC to go up for now, but in my opinion, moments like this are when we still have the opportunity to collect potential coins like BTC or others. For special preparation, at least half of the assets are left in the wallet when another ATH arrives. In the next ten years no one will be able to read it, only predictions and prepare umbrellas before it rains.
246  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is "dying". on: May 20, 2023, 09:21:59 AM
Hello everyone. I don't want to sound pessimistic, but it looks like bitcoins ideas are dying.

Bitcoins are "fine" this is more appropriate to say. Bitcoin has inspired the development of countless other cryptocurrency and blockchain projects, contributing to the growth and evolution of the wider cryptocurrency ecosystem. Regarding what you convey above reality, but I'm not skeptical about responding to me it's just the development of this diverse crypto ecosystem and this indicates that the ideas and concepts initiated by Bitcoin are still alive and developing.
247  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A new milestone: 1M addresses hold 1 Bitcoin on: May 20, 2023, 09:13:03 AM
According to glassnode, the number of address holding atleast 1 BTC are now 1 million.

This Signs of power from the bulls round is coming!!
248  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Clarification Please on: May 20, 2023, 09:01:18 AM
Always. BTC is still worth investing in and Good investment. For now, if you want to make transactions, especially BTC, you should hold it first or if you have BTC in your wallet, it's better to swab/convert to USDT first and then send it. This is one of the efforts to minimize the risk of pending transactions and greater gas consumption.
249  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My friend's investment in Bitcoin on: May 20, 2023, 08:53:37 AM
You've given evidence-worthy advice that he didn't just ask but did so by going in and investing $500 in Bitcoins. regarding your risk has also provided a fairly clear picture. I think he made a mistake otherwise you can't say he has lost the profit I think he must come and tell me also why he is like that.
250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: POLYGON as a national currency. on: May 20, 2023, 06:52:35 AM
What steps can a country leader takes before adopting POLYGON as a means of payment or transactions in a country with low level of education. As it's known to be one of the best user friendly platform for easy transactions.
Governments can allow cryptocurrency to circulate in their countries, but they will not actively support it, much less grant it the status of a national currency. To do this, they have the opportunity to issue their own CBDC, and they will use this opportunity. But the situation will change more than once, although governments still should not hope for the use of cryptocurrency.
Cryptocurrency has been and will remain the choice of citizens, not their governments.

Changes can take effect at any time. however, if the government is aware I think this can be resolved easily if it happens at any time because it has the full support of competent parties. So. Communities and users are no longer confused about the options, either CBDC or the coin/token to be used meaning that not only one option is used to adopt POLYGON.
251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you like Meme Coins ? on: May 20, 2023, 06:47:17 AM
These days everyone is talking about the Meme coins and they are trending. Do you like investing in MEME coins ?

Do you like Meme coins and what are your Opinions on Meme coins. I understand Meme coins have no use case but they have hype and that's what you need to make money. Yes, the narrative of Meme coin is very short lived but it may give you 50x or 100x returns within no time.

I don't like risk especially meme coins and if there is a good one I will do my own analysis at least check the performance of the smart contract like the link sent by @tokeweed https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5452944.0 and I think this enough to help friends here before making a decision to invest in meme coins/tokens.
252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [Experiment] Abstract Coin 0.3.0 on: May 20, 2023, 06:36:08 AM
Here are the next steps I propose

0) I created 100 000 000 Abstract Sats. As said before, this is a departure from the original concept. It is a provisional solution and if there's enough interest, we will do it properly later

1) if you are in the original leaderboard, write a "command" to DEX/transfer your Abstract Coins to $ACTX, and I will send you your portion of $ACTX. Unfortunately, I think most original holders are all gone from here, I tried to message a few privately. I will only keep my original portion for myself

2) after this BRC-20 project, if there's interest, we'll do it in a better way, by using json for txes, merkle tree, and piggybacking on a crypto chain to keep 'infinite divisibility' of the original concept

The concept as you said about using json for transactions, Merkle trees and merging with crypto chains is an interesting aspect. However, I think this all depends on the response and interest of the community and the support they receive in developing something like this.
253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good ways to trade? on: May 20, 2023, 06:25:28 AM
Hi I am new to crypto and wonder what are some of the best technical indicators to use for trading?

Maybe all have answered properly and correctly, but of course there are other options. I think it's time to try trading using The convergence of AI and blockchain technology. Well, why do I want to convey this and become one of the other trading options besides manual trading because I believe we will not stand day after day we lose the value of our investment.
254  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Assess a Memecoin and Not Get Scammed ;) on: May 20, 2023, 06:11:52 AM
Just dropping a bit of info to help you guys from making a dumb mistake like I did.  :/  I bought around 200 bucks worth of some memecoin which turned out to be what they call a honey pot...  Meaning you could buy it but you're not able to sell it.  Lolol.

This info is mostly for Ethereum users but pretty sure other L1 users would find it useful.

Anyway here are the ways to avoid making the same mistake...

1.  Find out more about the project's token in https://honeypot.is/

It basically checks if the token is a honey lot.

I think it really hits everyone, but for the first point Find out more about the project's token in https://honeypot.is/, from what you research, it really helps users in making decisions, meaning that user can't do anything else, especially if selling on Pancakeswap after buying tokens, even if we force the sale to only use up gas. Very cool.
255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth staking stablecoins? on: May 20, 2023, 06:02:05 AM
I think staking on the Polygon network is relatively safe and low cost but is there any risk free, of course not because there is no completely risk free investment. Risks such as security vulnerabilities, risk of technical failure and market volatility are always present and affect the value of your returns and investments. If I'm not mistaken the platforms that can be considered are Aave, Curve Finance, or QuickSwap because there is stablecoins staking support for the Polygon network.
256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Casper (CSPR) worth an investment? on: May 20, 2023, 05:42:07 AM
If you are sure and have tried it, just move on. I myself, if I enter, look for something that is easy for me to understand and understand and don't dare to go too far, even though the opportunity is great, as you said, giving us 21x the current price of $ 0.047.
257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future of play to earn games on: May 20, 2023, 05:34:53 AM
What do you think about play to earn blockchain games?

If I were a gamer I would focus and just enjoy the game and if there is a renewable program, for example Play to Earn as you said, that's even better. The player's job is to play and as for platform change and development I think that's another story. because the gamer's main sheet that is most important is cool and comfortable features, especially if it makes a profit I think it's really cool..
258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sushiswap hacked on: May 20, 2023, 05:21:24 AM
I see from the link you linked the date of this news post is April 9, 2023,. I'm only see  one point which is about Regulatory and Institutional Acceptance so this gives a breath of fresh air for DEX so that it can be adopted by more people and if one thing or another, users have a solid foundation for problem solving especially like incidents of Sushiswap being hacked like you post above.
259  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Understanding cryptocurrencies and investment. on: May 20, 2023, 05:11:22 AM
Crypto is a digital currency that comprises different coins. It's important that we understand how this coin works and which to invest in. How do we identify the best coin and the period to invest in these types of coins?

I just want to say that what we see as strong is not necessarily strong, what we see as potential is not necessarily potential. Look at Luna and FTX which are predicted to be big Coins and exchanges that fall and slip causing losses to many people.

So my view on how to identify the best coin is to choose the safest one and it doesn't make you tense up after you invest, the obvious meaning and don't like to choose high speculation.
260  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FOMO on: May 20, 2023, 04:43:17 AM
FOMO - Fear of missing out.

For me, it was actually this year. I actually looked for a $pepe coin around January, because of my love for Pepe Lore memes and couldn’t find anything. Now I missed out on a meme coin of a lifetime.

The world of cryptocurrency is vast, because opportunities come and go like the wind. So let's toast to those who made it through. Maybe who knows, maybe one day we'll find the “Rare Pepe” of the crypto world and finally conquer that FOMO once and for all by entering the market early in the morning when no one else has come buying and saying “Now I didn't miss this meme coin this time.”
