241  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Decentralized vs Centralized Gambling....Which do you prefer? on: March 05, 2024, 09:47:42 AM
Wait, wait...

What is a decentralized gambling? Are they not casinos that relies on cryptocurrency transactions instead of the old traditional way? Now how is this decentralized? Because almost all online casinos are accepting USDT, Tron, and many centralized crypto coins, the only decentralized one is Bitcoin, can we really say that they are true decentralized? I don't think so.

To me every online casinos are centralized, having crypto payment option doesn't make them decentralized, they are all regulated and that's why we use them, and been regulated means they have all legal papers in place, no government can go after them for illegal operation, this makes them 100% centralized.

If you are looking for a real decentralized casino, they will operate anonymous and illegally, as a casino you need to be registered, if not, it's been run illegally, it's not safe to have your money gambling on such places, this is not Bitcoin, Always remember that.
242  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Work Now May Not Work Tomorrow on: March 04, 2024, 04:13:49 PM
Do we need to talk about this? Let them depend on their patterns, it doesn't always take very long before they realize that they have messed up, every people that try to come up with a trick to cheat the casino always fail, it's just clear that the casino itself knew before them.

They tried to look weak, leaving some vulnerable behind, just to make idiot people believe that they have upper hands and these people will now risk a lot on the game only to be swallowed, they will learn their lessons the right way.

How many people have you seen that make a lot of money from casino because of a pattern? If it works for you this minute it may not work for you the next minute, you will be shocked what will happen after, you are been told to be serious when gambling, don't be an irresponsible gambler, yet all you can come up with is some pattern nonsense? Continue.
243  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why People Have Different Perception Of Gambling Operators on: March 04, 2024, 02:15:16 PM
This the the most stupid thing I've ever heard today, they despise him for what? Is the the one controlling the chicken? People can be mean at times, what's this? The fate of who wins and who lose depend on the performance of those chickens, one have to lose and one have to win.

The problem isn't the game owner but that of the people who are coming to risk all they have on the game, they are irresponsible that's why their family are hating the game owner which is wrong, they should hate their own brothers and fathers for throwing money away this so easily.

It's best if they can control their people to be a responsible gambler instead of hating the game owner, this can also be the case with the first brother than has a gambling location, these are both gambling and no different, just risk only what you can afford to lose and you will be alright.
244  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Where do large mining companies send old ASICs? on: March 04, 2024, 01:33:17 PM
And what will happen to these ASICs next?
Will they be sold to other countries or disposed of?

I don't think they are going to dispose of these units I think they are going to sell them if they are no longer making any profit. It's too expensive to sustain a mining farm if you don't have a source to pay bills and maintenance except for those who have free power source.

I saw lots of sold units on Offordscott Telegram group, so I think some of these companies sold their units to Offordscott or used Offordscott as a broker or middleman to resell these units.
I have a question.

Why would any company buy huge numbers of used asic miners?

Or can they remold them or turn them to something that will be useful in the process of making a new latest asic miner?

Because this is the only way that this could make any sense, those companies that deal with waste products grind their irons and use them to make other things and since those Asics aren't profitable to mine anymore they are not useful for any mining company but the manufacturers who can still make use of the body components and stuff.

Am I making sense or completely wrong?
245  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which player are you? on: March 04, 2024, 12:02:08 PM
Do you prefer games where you know right away whether you've won (or lost) casino style, or do you prefer other games like sports betting? Do you have any other favorite games?
The difference is time and location, with casinos you play on the platform and get your end result in minutes or seconds but sports can take up to hours before you get the end result, also sports aren't happening on a online casinos, they happen in different locations in different countries, you place a bet on either, they are still both gambling.

You need to get lucky to win sports or casino games, one isn't much different from the other, you can still lose money even if you are into these two, like myself, I am into sports and casino games like Dice and Slots.

My chances of winning can't be increase based on which games I play, it all depends on how lucky I get, and I am used to this already, so no need to be irresponsible about gambling, if you can risk some little amount of money and stay on that amount no matter what, they you won't go astray as a gambler.
246  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling for fun and not a way of making money on: March 03, 2024, 11:26:02 AM
Even if all you seek for in gambling is some fun, there will always be that little hope of making money in you, if fun is all you want it won't be from gambling with money, you will get the fun without spending a dime but that can't happen with online casinos.

Let's not lie to ourselves, both responsible and irresponsible gamblers are all hoping to make some money, I tend not to lose a lot of money in the process, this is what makes me different from those who are reckless with gambling.

When I will be next lucky is unknown, and no matter how much I risk on gambling, the next luck won't come faster, why not have patience and use small amount of money on gambling? Because this is so clear that you can't predict when next you will win some money.
247  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Seed and hardware wallets on: March 03, 2024, 10:28:37 AM
Pin code won't protect your assets from been stolen, if anyone has access to your recovery backup then your pin code won't stop them from moving the assets out, pin code only protects you from someone who don't have access to your recovery seed.

Point of correction, I don't see anything wrong with Ledger wallet and they give users the access to their recovery seed, the only issue they have is closed source wallet, it would be great if this wallet is a open source wallet, maybe I would be using Ledger hardware wallet right now if they are open source.

Always make sure you keep your recovery seed, out of the public places, it's meant to be private, and always make sure that you go with a airgapped hardware wallet instead, the minimal I recommend is a Trezor hardware wallet.
248  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Has this ever happened to you as a gambler? on: March 03, 2024, 09:16:38 AM
There is no better way to describe this than addiction have taken over this person, they believe that if they keep gambling they will make it, this is why I hate any words of encouragement from anyone to gamblers, they are pushing you towards the burning pot of fire, if you let it get to you, it's your fault.

Gambling is a burning field of greedy and impatience, if you allow this to consume you there will be problem, i's not a place that you can make guaranteed money but it will make the whole picture look like you are going to win, that hope is what I call untrue.

If you can't devote a small percentage of your salary or income for gambling and never use more than that, you are a loose dog that goes around bitting through anything they sees, learn to control yourself in gambling, the amount you are willing to lose must remain the same, because it's what you can afford to lose.
249  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is it possible to inherit a gambling debt? on: March 03, 2024, 06:52:52 AM
From the little experience that I have seen, many fathers have passed away and they left behind some debts that's needed to be settled, because it's even a sin to have debts on you after passing, I have heard from religious people that you getting through the heavens gate will be hard if you have debt on you.

In my country older people are now used to telling their children the amount they owe someone or some organization, just in case, because some people might decide to use lie and take money from the children, telling them that their dead father is owing them some money.

My father did the same, and we still see someone who came out and said he was owing her some money, and later I found out from my siblings that she lied, my father never mentioned her name as one of those he was owing some money, when the issue was dragged to a point, she claimed he already paid her some while ago and she just remember.
250  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Investing in casinos: Still a thing? on: March 02, 2024, 11:22:11 AM
Who says you can't? I have invested in RLB ( ROLLBIT ) tokens myself and another too, I suggest you should do your own research and find reason why a casino token can pump in the future, understand the tokenomics very well because it's very important, with better utilities on the token its possible it will do well as far as the casino is making more money and they are active.

I will also like that you invest only what you can afford to lose on such tokens, because they are still risky, not many casino tokens are doing well, only some of then are good, these type of risky play only take 2% of my entire crypto portfolio just in case if anything bad happens, I won't feel the heat too much.

Just be careful with tokens, they are not very reliable like Bitcoin, I have seen few died this year already and many more will happen.
251  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I have to hold on tight on: March 02, 2024, 09:34:49 AM
There is a problem op, reading your post makes me believe that you don't have an exit strategy in place, and you will have a difficult time to realise your gains in the future, if btc reach a new all time high it will be difficult for you to sell and take profits, because you don't know what's right for you.

Everyone want to make money in this space but many aren't ready, they don't know what's best for them, a 2x or a 5x, so if btc keeps soaring very high they will believe that there is always room for more growth until the price start dumping again.

Do not be greedy, have a profit taking strategy now before its too late, maybe when btc reach 70k you should take your first profit in percentage, ten or twenty, and if btc goes another leg up to 85k you will sell 50% etc, be smart or get stuck by your own greed.
252  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mom won 50,000$ in Lottery on: March 02, 2024, 08:04:03 AM
Using 5k to win a lottery is crazy, I would scream hard on anyone close to me who tried to do the same, this is very risky and greedy play, I am happy it goes the way she wanted, out of millions of such risk takers maybe one or two like her always wins, she is so damn luck.

I can't ever play this type of risky game, I would rather invest the $5,000 on something else maybe Bitcoin or some other assets, or even stock, the only way this could sound right to me is if the woman is already rich, maybe she can always afford to risk away $5,000 on tickets.

Sorry to say, I am a big fan of gambling, it's something that I enjoy doing but I will never risk high money on gambling, even if all people that are living around me turn such amount into big amount, there is no such thing as me getting greedy and want to win the same thing, it will never work.

I wish her all the best and I hope she use the money well, this is very good for her.
253  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stake; one couple two accounts illegal? on: March 02, 2024, 07:39:19 AM
So you aren't even aware that this is against their terms and conditions? This isn't the online casino's fault, and hopefully you should accept this as your own mistake, where you are now you only need to comply with everything they ask you to do, don't forget that this is your own fault, you have no choice.

Provide Every details and documents they ask from you, prove to them that your husband is involved, I think he should do the same too and the problem should be solved.

Next time be more careful about what you do on any online casino, and I will advice you to always find time to go through terms and conditions of any online casinos, this will save you from any possible threat or your actions.
254  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Wallet suggestions? on: February 29, 2024, 05:52:32 AM
If you want real safe solutions, use cold wallets. The problem is only that they not support all of the altcoins. Ledger or Trezor is a good choice. Cheers  Wink
Don't tell people to just get a cold wallet, and that's the end of their worries, they need to be careful with cold wallet as well, they need to keep their cold wallet's recovery seed safe too. This is why some people believe that there is not much difference between software wallets and hardware wallet, people belief that with a cold wallet you shouldn't be keeping recovery seed since it can get lost.

Also don't recommend Ledger for people, because this wallet is a closed source wallet and it's past history since existence isn't good enough, although the company isn't to be blame for everything but still the closed source side is a big turn off for someone like me.

Trezor is a open source hardware wallet and that makes it better, I always recommend a airgapped hardware wallet to the people in my circle and outside my circle, because you don't need an internet to send coins using airgapped devices.
255  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A gambler takes his own life after a loss. on: February 28, 2024, 07:51:05 PM
He must have taken life too serious, some people believe that failure is the end of life or it's the means to end one's life, I call such people idiots, because life is more valuable than money, if you are in a situation where sacrificing your own life is the solution then it must be a worthy one, not because of some money.

I feel sorry for him and his family, I just wish that someone talk to these people before they take their lives, it's not making sense, that amount is even so ridiculous for taking his own life.

Funny thing is he could have talked to someone and they won't care, some people will even hope he kill himself or commit suicide, it's a scary world we are living in now, people only care for themselves only. Rest on gentle soul.
256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tether Confirms Extensive Collaboration With DOJ, FBI and Secret Service on: February 28, 2024, 03:17:41 PM
Tether isn't Bitcoin.

Tether is not a decentralized digital currency.

They have every right to work like fiat, they are stable coin and yes they are centralized, regulated? It's certain, because it's equivalent to dollars.

If you are complaining about this then you don't know what you are doing, find a decentralized stable coin and your problem is no more, to me I like how Tether is working, there is no other way than this.

I have always use Tether since many years already and they have never frozen my funds before, sounds like something a hacker or scammer should be complaining about, someone, something must always give the unclean criminals what they deserves, just because it's crypto space it doesn't mean all criminals should be unleashed in this space.

257  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Do You See Losing Your Weekly Payment to The Casino on: February 28, 2024, 02:17:55 PM
It's definitely not going to be a good feeling, because in some part of the world this money is going to be very useful in their daily lives, but why will anyone use such money to gamble? Why can't they use some part of the money instead?

If you lose this kind of money then it's your fault, you already knew what could happen when you gamble, you are supposed to be prepared to lose the money, there is no guarantee that your game will come out like you predicted that's why you should always use a percentage of your whole account balance.

Anyway, you lose? You learn from it, if not then don't be a gambler, because you will end up wasting your money over and over again, gambling doesn't deserve all your balance, but only a fraction of it, and it's not also important to keep gambling like your life depend on it, learn to take some time off.
258  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When you are not to gamble. on: February 28, 2024, 12:23:42 PM
Know when to stop.

Know when to take your leave.

When you get lucky, accept it as something that doesn't happen everyday.

So that when you get lucky you will appreciate it, or else you will easily get greedy.

If you are in need of money, gambling is not the way, go out there and apply for a good job, even if it's not so good, at least its better than not having a job and all you have left in your head is to go into a casino and gamble.

It's safer for gamblers to accept that casinos are not places where you will visit and smile out of the casino all the time, it's almost impossible, because casinos make money when you lose, is this not scary enough? Or the world is just full of dumb people?
259  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rich or poor gambler, who should risk more? on: February 27, 2024, 09:04:51 PM
If you are poor you shouldn't be gambling, you are to start saving some money first and try to learn a skill or start a business, something must be funding your gambling activities, with no jobs you will end up in frustration and if the the feeling gets out of hand you could commit a crime.

Don't be surprised, I have heard a lot of gamblers doing stupid things to pay up their debts, money they lost in gambling, having a income stream will keep you going on until you win some money.

Mind you, even with a job, you need to have some god damn respect for yourself, avoid taking higher risks that's way over your pay grade, you should be risking very few percentage of your income and save the rest for yourself or other things, like responsibility and investment.
260  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much does it cost to have your own Casino? on: February 27, 2024, 08:32:24 PM
From the information that I was able to gathered, it's not easy to run a casino with your own money, you need lots of money and connection, also group of friends that will manage the casinos all together with you, some people who have deep connection in the finance world use money from the banks too, that's another path entirely but casino owners are doing it.

You will also need to do some professional hiring, as you need the right people with qualified experience to be able to run the casino and become successful, it's no 1 man's job.

It's no lie that if you plan to make a lot of money, you also need to invest a lot of money, that's the case of a online casino, one that is ready to be among the best, because there are many successful online casinos already, it's going to be a big challenge.
