241  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: August 09, 2022, 04:30:31 PM
I think Erling Haaland will be the Premier league's top scorer by far if he doesn't get injured.  He's a very talented player and imagine if the great Manchester City midfield fed him with his passes.  He scored 2 goals in the first match.  Considering that there were no players who scored more than 20 goals last year, Haaland can easily play on the top in the remaining matches.
It's too early to jump on this. EPL isn't like other leagues where strikers go and boss anyhow. Starting the league with two goals doesn't mean he will find it easy getting the golden boot, there is sallah and kane. And also both son and sallah had more than 20 league goals last season.

244  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: July 01, 2022, 06:06:24 PM
According to reports by Bleacher Reports, the Adidas 2022 World Cup ball will now feature a device for tracking of offside. This ball will give VAR precise data to support offside calls

What are your views about this innovation

Well, why am I not surprised? AI is taking over most jobs. However, since this is going to be the first time this semi-automated offside technology will be used in a FIFA World Cup, I expect to see one or two errors in judgement because there's is going to be new and unique scenarios that may prove quite difficult for the machine to interpret. Well, I'd wait to watch how it plays out during the games in November. It will still the a humans with the technical-know-how to operate it.
I too find this innovation unnecessary, at least for determining offside. Maybe for determining out, arm play or a questionable moment when hitting the goal. But it's not quite clear to me how the AI will determine offside. That would require chips on each player for accurate positional detection.

They are planning to put the device inside the ball. My major problem is that the controversies in football that makes it fun will be taking away from it
245  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador Purchase More Bitcoin At $19,000 Each on: July 01, 2022, 04:12:18 PM

Okay! Good one I must confess. He's vision for Bitcoin is arguably beyond comparison. Really placed at the top front as he sees so much light from it
So here comes my question, do you consider this act as a good decision ? It's more like putting all eggs in one basket. Quite obvious he must have done he's research but they have faced a huge loss evers since they bought bigger shares.

I am not a Bitcoin critics but do you consider this wise ?

No business or investment is without risk and what makes successful people more successful is there ability to take risk. He has done his research and believes a lot in bitcoin. Bitcoin is just having its tough time and This isn't the first time, every genuine friend of Btc knows it will bounce back. Only its enemies discourage people about it.

Although my advice is to peach your tent where your confidence lies
246  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 01, 2022, 02:19:22 PM

For me the hottest candidates to sign Dembele are definitely Chelsea or PSG. I don't think that Bayern is really interested in signing him as they have just made the transfer of Sadio Mane which is also a winger and now they have Mane, Sane, Gnabry and Coman which are basically 4 world class offensive wingers so i highly doubt that they want to have a fifth one because only two of them will play most of the time.
A move to Chelsea would make sense because Dembele already played under Tuchel during their time at Borussia Dortmund and Tuchel is still a fan of him. Also PSG would also make sense because Dembele is french obviously.
[/quote]

Lewandoski and Gnabry are looking elsewhere, so Bayern might be interested in Dembele to foster there attack. As for Dembele to Chelsea it will be a good move but the way Tuchel and Dembele parted ways last time at Dortmund wasn't on a good note

just want to add, it is better to learn about cryptos from better sources and not from trustwalletcommunity, news sites, unknown sites or any other paid company academy.
The information that is provided is usually general, inaccurate, not highly credible, and they do not correct articles after they have been published.
Do not forget that some of these companies, for example, (Bitcoin.com) they hate bitcoin, so you may find some intentional errors.

I think I also need answer to this question because most of this sites only have post crediting there own software /app with showing its lapses or cons but that's what every typical programmer will do. So we're can we get the right information apart from the stated places

What do you guys think of this, will Richarlison be an addition to the Chelsea attacking lineup if Chelsea was to get him to sign a contract.
Personally i do not like Richarlison, and i can't understand how he would cost that much, all he has is an arrogant attitude that sometimes deceives people to think that he is a good player, how many goals and assist does he contribute per season to be valued at a price above 60 million pounds, that is indeed outrageous, to think City even got Haaland for cheaper than that (if you take out additional fees) is even crazier.

Players in Premier league are always costly. But u shouldn't just use numbers to judge Richarlison but look at his overall game. And about arrogance that's how typical South Americans strikers are, personally I love arrogant attackers like Costa because they bring there A game to every match that's the kind of player Richarlison his

Arsenal striker Alexander Lacazate has re sign a contractdeal  with his former team Olympic Lyon on a free transfer. He signed a Three years contract deal with Lyon, I hope he have some playing time there because in Arsenal, he struggle to have playing time.

Yeah I hope so too. But laca problem wasn't just about game time he lost his magical touch and maybe some personal problems affect his person before been dropped I just hope he figures that out very soon

Gabriel Jesus is better off leaving Manchester City and looking for the right club for his career, besides Jesus also has to add regular playing hours as it is important for him to secure a place in the Brazil national team for the World Cup.
With Gabriel Jesus still relatively young as a football player, I think there will be many clubs willing to accommodate Gabriel Jesus if his performance is very good.
And in your opinion, which club do you think Gabriel Jesus is suitable for next season? is it Real Madrid or Chelsea or even Arsenal?
Because usually a player from Brazil is always very good to be chased by big teams like I mentioned if he is young and talented.

Madrid will be like wildcard for him considering the attackers Madrid have on there disposal; jovic mariano hazard, asensio and Rodrigo all struggling for game time and seating on the bench will damper is carrier at this young age.
For Chelsea I think it will be a bad idea considering Chelsea's number nine curse   Grin
The best place at hand for possible gametime is arsenal since Lacazzet is leaving
253  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Can the irregularities in timestamp causes double spending attack on: June 09, 2022, 07:59:58 AM
So does what happens to the timestamp of an unconfirmed transaction?
And does the timestamp of a block means that each transaction in it are automatically timestamp?
254  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Can the irregularities in timestamp causes double spending attack on: June 05, 2022, 01:49:15 PM
I have been reading about timestamp in bitcoin. And I have some few questions I would love the forum to help me with.

1. If time stamp can be manipulated or altered regularly doesn't that affect the credibility of its service.

2. If coincidentally (or maybe manipulated), a block's timestamp is later than the previous block, wouldn't that affect the blockchain or the timestamp of the block built on top of it?

3. Wouldn't the irregularities in time stamp results in double spending attack in bitcoin

I am sorry if this questions might have been answered before.
255  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin to the rescue again on: June 05, 2022, 04:49:51 AM
I'm not sure this is something you should be happy about! Specially since your title doesn't make any sense.
Basically a shitcoin creator makes a useless token called Tatcoin and creates 200 million of that token out of thin air worth about 636 bitcoin and then he dumps this garbage on idiots who believe the lie telling them "its the next big thing" and buy it while the price continues dumping from 320 satoshi down to current 5 satoshi.
Then he donates a tiny portion of his ill gotten gains (half a bitcoin) to a presidential candidate!

If anything the government should put an stop to this type of scam and arrest such people as Gaius Chibueze.
None of it had anything to do with bitcoin though.

I personally don't support the shitcoins considering that I have also been a victim of such schemes. I was just too excited that crypto currency is been taught off in my country as means of exchange. But yeah thanks again for your corrections and advice
256  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin to the rescue again on: June 04, 2022, 07:50:24 PM
In Nigeria, where bitcoin and crypto currency at large is termed illegal by the government, a young investor by name Gaius Chibueze, also the founder of Tactcoin has donated a sum of 10 million Naira worth of Btc (approximately 0.55btc) to Peter obi a presidential candidate in the country's forthcoming General election. The donation is meant for obi's campaign and mobilisation. Gaius believes that obi can take the country's economy forward.
This post isn't about the donation to the presidential aspirant but the continuous involvement of my country into crypto currency, how it can open the eyes of the government to see the real light of crypto world and how it will also influence more people about crypto currency genuity and is also here to stay.
I am seriously happy about this new development in my country and hope this will lead to crypto been legally accepted here in Nigeria

newbie often run into losses when investing in new projects.  ,i once bought new coins but i can't resell them. i think i have been cheated  Embarrassed what can you suggest to us and how to find out if the project is a scam? Is it true that new Coins can give big profits as people say on youtube channel?

Things to do to check if a project is legit

1. First thing is to do your own research and just rely on what you hear. You can do this by visiting the project's website and check there  white paper, it explains the project plans compare and verify your findings from other sources

2. Avoid projects that promises huge gains in just a little time frame. Due to cryptocurrency volatility just like the stable coin like Bitcoin it takes gradual time for investment to mature.

3. Another thing to again is to check the project community, the project's management although some project actually use influential people to promote there project. You should be moved by that but calm down and do more findings.

Lastly there are lots of scam project around so as a newbie I would strongly advice you to invest in stable coins like Bitcoin and other stable alt coins like Etherium and BNB. Just stay away from quick rich projects
258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin investments have become risky this day. on: May 24, 2022, 07:19:59 AM
I don't personally advice huge amount of trading in all this volatile altcoins. In fact investment should only be associated to stable coins like Bitcoins or some non/less volatile altcoins like Etherium and BNB. Although these coins too can also suffer dips time to time. But with there long time potential they have the ability to recover after every dips.
But those volatile altcoins like Luna are just like gambling coins where one can loose everything but also has the ability to bring out quick gains. And this actually lead greedy people into pouring out all the income into it.
Investment should only be on stable or less volatile coins only
259  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to avoid huge cryptocurrency disappointment on: May 23, 2022, 10:00:42 PM
I am no stranger when it comes to disappointments in my life. Not only that I am disappointed because of the losses that I have in the past because of greediness, but also not thinking twice on what I have been doing just to end up my mind being brainwashed by the hacker and drained my 3 wallets for a total of more than $12,000 due to the malware I have accidentally engaged with. I should have moved all of them to my Ledger Nano S earlier so that even if I clicked that malware my assets won’t get drained. But it is what it is, just another hard lesson learned and move on to become better in making decisions not just in crypto, but in all walks of life.

Sorry mate just a hard way to learn, $12k ain't a small amount to loose. Imagine s newbie having to loose such at an early stage it might be devastating and frustrating. That's why new enthusiasts like me need to read up on this kinda flaws so we could minimise our chance of disappointment or moreover safeguarding ourselves from scammers/hackers. I will also need to read up on the Ledger Nano S. I quite don't have any idea on it.

This is simply why we call EPL the best league in the world.
What an interesting end to the season.

Man city crowned champions with 93 points

Golden boots won by both Salah and Son, with both tied on 23 goals

Golden glove goes to both Ederson and Allison on 20 clean sheets.

Arsenal failed to qualify to Champions league despite winning their last Match with Spurs edging them with a win against already relegated Norwich.

Man United qualified for Europa league despite losing to Crystal place with West Ham United also losing.

Burnley were relegated after losing. This was confirmed with Leeds drawing their Match
