241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / What price can XRP realistically reach this bull run? on: January 31, 2024, 06:44:03 PM
I first started buying XRP in June last year and did so in the hope it could reach $7-10 this coming bull run.

I am just wondering how many of us hold XRP and what realistic price target should be this bull run?

I am currently 7% up on my position and wondering if I should hold till peak of bull run next year or swap it soon for something else
242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When it comes to selling , is it best to convert or sell for cheaper fees? on: January 31, 2024, 11:58:44 AM
Update - I have successfully taken profits from my 2 altcoins that have both done over a 6x in recent weeks.

I am now holding both risk free having taken my investment out.

I find the best way is to sell on advanced trade on Coinbase and then just buy bitcoin/ another altcoin with the profits on advanced trade too as fees are much lower then buying on normal Coinbase
243  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When it comes to selling , is it best to convert or sell for cheaper fees? on: January 30, 2024, 10:41:50 AM
Is it best to convert from one altcoin to the other or is it best to sell the altcoin then buy the new altcoin I want to invest more in?

I'm not a Coinbase user, but from what I saw in a Reddit post published 2 years ago, there are hidden fees for converting from 1 altcoin to another and many people suggest that it's better to do double transactions to get the altcoin you want. Don't know whether the Reddit post is still relevant or not at this time, what is certain is that if there are still hidden fees there, it would be better for you to carry out double transactions with transparent fees.

Yes, I directly converted a few of my altcoins last week and there was definitely hidden fees.

Coinbase showed the fee as £2.99 but once I worked it out it was over £5.00, very shady!

I think I will stick with Advanced trade where I can - I am from UK but as GBP pairs are limited I just sold to USDC and bought my new coin with USDC and the total fee for that to be exact was $1.32 so a lot less than converting directly.
244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When it comes to selling , is it best to convert or sell for cheaper fees? on: January 30, 2024, 10:12:45 AM
Dealing with altcoins is risky because they are highly volatile. You can see the profit and use it to buy the other altcoins if you have no money to spare for it.

I will prefer bitcoin for its less volatile nature.

Yes but I am using this bull run to make good money and I can only do that with altcoins, Bitcoin will not change my life in this coming bull run with the amount of money I invested.

I plan to make money with altcoins this bull run and then buy Bitcoin in the next bear market.

I understand Bitcoin is a lot safer, but I want to take a risk this coming bull run and then be safer in the next bull run once I have more capital.

A few of my altcoins are pumping and I want to take some profits to put into others that have not pumped yet but wondering what is the best way of doing this on Coinbase?

Is it best to convert from one altcoin to the other or is it best to sell the altcoin then buy the new altcoin I want to invest more in?

If you go with the former you won’t have to pay double fee, in the latter you’re performing double action so there’s a possibility of you being charged extra unlike when you just go straight and convert into the token of your choice.  So I’d suggest you just go with the direct conversion rather than to sell before buying again [seems like an unnecessary stress to me].

Ps. I believe this thread should be better fit in the altcoin discussion board; there you’ll get more responses from users that have done what you’re trying to do.

I have just used Advanced trade on Coinbase so the fees are minimal compared to using the normal version.

I sold one altcoin and then bought another and the fee was only $1.40 for doing so which is not much - hopefully that is the only fees to it and there are no hidden fees I have missed.

Also, I am happy for this to be moved to Altcoin discussion board.

245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Myro - worth a gamble? on: January 30, 2024, 10:09:13 AM
Hi ,

I have been watching Myro for a few weeks now after it pumped and it has now come down 50% with current price of $0.13.

There is quite a lot of hype around this meme coin just wondering if anyone else has gambled on this?

I am thinking of taking a small gamble on it if it falls down to $0.12 as market cap is only $125m so it has room to do a 10x at least.

How can you watch a memecoin for so long and allow it to pump so high before consider to buy or not? If you don't know anything about memecoin well let me tell you, the moment you identify a memecoin that can do what myro did, you don't just keep them on a watch list while others are making profit, you act while the price is still very low.
Buying right now will be taking a huge risk but you never know what can happen with myro again.

I have been watching it for only 10 days to be exact and in that time it has fallen over 50%.

I actually did the right thing in not investing during these 10 days as it has just kept falling.

It is now at $0.12 , I will only invest in it if it falls down to $0.10 as feel it will be worth a gamble at that price.

248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trias - does it have potential this bull run? on: January 24, 2024, 03:54:45 PM
I think it is worth a gamble with how low a market cap it is , has a lot of room to grow if it does well.

It could go to zero but it could 20x or even more if it does do well in the bull run.

I think Bitcoin will go down to $36k at least in the next few weeks so will buy Trias then when it is hopefully around $7.
249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trias - does it have potential this bull run? on: January 23, 2024, 03:19:07 PM
Every coin has their equal opportunity during the bull run and just like what you see right now, we're on a bloodbath. But using YouTube as a source for the news of projects like this, I don't think that's a good idea because it won't be that much info you'll be getting there.
And with the lesser supply that you've mentioned, it's not going to mean that there's already the potential of it. Not all that have less or not that much supply are going to thrive.

I disagree , I watched a YouTube video on Myria a few months ago which lead to me investing and I saw a 10x return in just a few months. I would not have had that return had I not been on Youtube to discover it in the first place.

Youtube is not the best , but it is a good source at times.
250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Trias - does it have potential this bull run? on: January 23, 2024, 11:36:07 AM
Hi all,

I have recently come across Trias having not heard of it before.

I regularly check Youtube for updates on crypto and had not heard about it until I came across a video.

It is very scarce with only 10m supply and almost all of it in circulation which is great so wondering why no one talks about it as it is very scarce?

Looks like it has a lot of potential to grow unless I am missing something.

Does anyone know about this altcoin or even heard about it before?
251  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin has never pass ATH before halving but it has always dip don't panic. on: January 23, 2024, 09:47:53 AM
No panic from me - even if Bitcoin falls down to $35k.

I havent bought any yet in this mini crash but will do once it falls below $40k.

We are only 3 months from halving , good times are coming.
252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Gala still worth it? on: January 23, 2024, 09:39:55 AM
Sorry to break to you but Gala ain't going up anytime soon and I don't think that will change unless they announce collaborations with other networks since it already has very good foundations and strong backing from the crypto community. This whole process to happen could easily take a little more than couple years BUT the problem is will people give up on it or stay trusting the process is the question you need to be asking. Speaking of rough numbers if all that happens I'd say $0.400 could be realistically be achieved by 2027ish.

Disagree with you there, we are only 3 months from halving and majority of altcoins will pump and i think Gala will too.

I hope we continue to crash so I can accumulate more below 2 cents.
253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When is the next alt season? on: January 09, 2024, 04:08:53 PM
The majority of my portfolio is in altcoins and I am currently 29% in profit which I am happy with considering the Bitcoin halving is still 3 months away.

This is my first bull run over the next few years so I am just wondering when do altcoins usually start really pumping, is it long after the Bitcoin halving?

I don't know what a d what you have invested in altcoins, but when your portfolio is not constituting bitcoin as the major holdings you're having then you're taking high risk, we do encourage that Bitcoin first then followed by few additional altcoins, there's probability that altcoins will rise along with bitcoin during the bullrun, if you're lucky enough, some or all of your investments may also rise along with bitcoin during the bullrun and some may actually not, this is part of the risk involved.

Bitcoin is the safest. But it will not see as much gains as some of the altcoins, a few of my altcoins have already pumped 3x , 4x and one even did 10x in just a few weeks recently.

Altcoins are higher risk but I am well diverse so if a few of them do go to zero, I expect the majority to do well.

I am planning on putting a lot of my altcoin profits this bull run into Bitcoin in the next bear market in a few years.

255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Myria - thoughts? on: January 05, 2024, 11:53:50 AM
I didn't buy much of it i only have 100,000 and as I have seen it reach almost £0.015 I feel selling now at less than half that price is too low.

If the prices crashes further next few weeks I will buy more and hold that till bull run.
256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Myria - thoughts? on: January 05, 2024, 08:58:07 AM
When we get back to £0.012 again I will definitely take some profit , that is a 10x for me and looking back i should have taken some then when i had the chance a few weeks ago.

This is my first bull run so seeing something pump 10x in just a month or so is new to me so I am still learning and soon will understand when is best to take some profits.
257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Doge worth investing? on: January 04, 2024, 04:22:31 PM
I am still holding my Doge not much only 5000 but am doing so in the hope it can reach £1 in the bull run.

This would give Doge a market cap of £142b - is that realistic?
258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Myria - thoughts? on: January 04, 2024, 03:28:30 PM
Myria update - I did not sell any in the end and not sure if I should be regretting that decision or if It will pump again soon.

The price almost reached £0.015 a few weeks ago which was a 12x for me at the time , it is now at £0.0072.

I am still 6x up overall but think I will wait for it to go up again where I am at least 10x up again to cash out my investment.

Anyone else in Myria?

259  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Casper - potential this coming bull run? on: January 02, 2024, 12:59:08 PM
I have been investing in Casper the last 2 months a small amount but thinking of going heavier into it as many have said it could see a similar run like Cardano had in 2021.

Casper has much better tokenomics that Cardano so think should at least 30-50x from current price but even some say it could 100x.

I don’t hear much about Casper compared to other projects, is anyone else into it and if so how do you think it will do over the next few years?
260  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICP pumping - is it time to take profit or too early? on: January 02, 2024, 12:55:05 PM
ICP is widely considered among the top coin for Web3 and they are still in their developing phase according to their roadmap. The involvement of Dominic Williams and other popular names make people believe in the project. Unlike many other projects, there already are some pilot dapps on its ecosystem. So, I guess it would be wiser to hold onto ICP, first exit point at least at 20. I'm planning to have a grid trading bot on ICP between 10 and 50 considering how volatile the price is.

The first time I search about the coin was when it hit $15 and saw people talk about it. I Researched it and was amazed about it, honestly I don't know why isn't booming yet. But yeah, the part of using grid trading bot is a plus. I also activate my Smart Portfolio Bot to make my profit in my portfolio in accordance.

If the team should keep building, I think the token will be standing back on $200+

I think $200 in the peak of the bull run is possible too which is why I am a bit hesitant to sell too much just yet.

I have decided to sell my first lot when it reaches $18 which will be almost a 5x for me.

I am just not sure if I should sell 25% of my investment at that price or 50%.
