Barcelona showed from the very beginning of the match that they are not going to put off scoring goals for long, and are already winning. I think that they are definitely in a good mood because their main competitors Real and Atletico have already lost points twice at the very beginning of the season, and Barcelona will want to maintain their advantage, and even possibly increase it if one of them continues to lose points. Valladolid withstood the first good game in defense against Real, but their defense broke down much earlier against Barcelona.
From the look of Barcelona brilliant performance in the first half, it shows that their opponent is too weak and small to play them. Dani Olmo is a good player and one of the best transfer so far this season. I might be to quick to conclude who will be the winner of this season title but I think Barcelona is showing that they can achieve it very easy from the way they started the season. So many young talents in Barcelona giving them more advantage, Raphina is doing great with good input in the first half. An easy first half for Barcelona with a 3-0 lead. They were truly exceptional in the first half and it paid off with their 3 goals lead against their visitors. I have come to love the job Raphinha and Pedri are doing in the attacking midfield and Robert Lewandowski, who have scored 3 goals this season, is always well positioned for the ball. This Barcelona formation can match any of the teams this season because it will be very difficult to stop them from scoring in a match. I don't expect much goals this second half because my prediction is Barcelona to win by 4 goals without conceding any. |

I know this thread was more active when there was so much excitement about Bitcoin hitting 100k. Some people in discussion thought it was going to be an easy journey considering that both the ETF approval and halving happened this same year which by right was enough fuel that will propel price to the short term target of 100k. Unknown to all is the fact that price has a mind of its own and moves in ways that is not easily predictable.
I have noticed that we are too focused on seeing price hit 100k target that we forget to see the opportunities that the market is offering us with the Continuous consolidation and reluctance of price to fly to the target. The market have indeed been very generous to many of us who have not met our BTC objectives, giving us the chances to collect as many Bitcoin as possible in discounted prices. So it will be a huge jackpot to continue accumulating Bitcoin at these lower prices while waiting and price eventually hit 100k.
This is not the time to procrastinate or doubt Bitcoin. We have seen worse times yet Bitcoin came out victorious. A good clue as to the future of Bitcoin is the fact that many governments are now more friendly with Bitcoin and some actually buying and holding. The future of Bitcoin is indeed bright and it is just a matter of time before price reach the 100k target and beyond.

The Turkish league has always been a goal scoring hub for so many seasons, like they basically scores a lot of goals and most of their matches always ends in both teams scoring each other so for a gambler who wants to stake on the Turkish league teams they should consider choosing the market of both teams scoring and over goals because they can score so much goals in the league and apart from the stronger clubs like Besiktas, Galatasaray and Fenerbahce those are the teams that you can confidently play for them to win their matches and they will deliver but for the rest of the teams, over goals and both teams to score are the best options to choose. You can study the league for a while before you can identify teams that you can stake on but for now it is difficult to identify a particular team that you can confidently stake on since the season is still young. I decided to create this topic to seek the opinion of fellow gamblers. This post is my personal experience that leaves me with certain things I still do not understand till date. When I started gambling, I was doing it casually, not paying attention to how much I win or being desperate to win. Then I had great experience and I was winning and never under pressures. But at a point I realized I could actually make money from gambling and become extremely rich. Consequently, I increased my gambling amount as well as my targets but from this point onward, everything changed for me and it became extremely difficult to win.
What could be the reason for this case whereby I moved from winning easily to finding it difficult to win? Although a lot have changed for good after I did some adjustments to my gambling but I still cannot explain what happened to my gambling in the past.
When you started gambling, did you know games well? Were you in the process of learning? I ask you this because when I started gambling poker and blackjack, I was winning a lot while I didn't know the rules of these games, I was completely gambling based on my luck and even if it sounds strange to you, I was winning this way. When I learnt the game and started thinking and developing of strategies, my winnings declined. I don't think it has to do with knowing game well, everyone gets better when they are persistent in doing what they do, so my knowledge now is much more better than it was then. If it were based on knowledge, I am expected to be getting better results as my knowledge increases but it seems the reverse was the case. It’s always important to DYOR but sometimes even that won’t save you. I invested in a presale in March & it turned out to be a rug pull. When it was time to claim their site wasn’t working & during this time they were rugging us. Since then I have claimed but there is no liquidity & the tokens are near worthless. It’s a jungle out there, only invest what you can afford to lose & just hope for the best.
I have been in such a situation in the past and it was not a sweet experience. Then everything was perfect with the project, they were fully funded and marketing was superb as well product which was a crypto payment system. Team were not anonymous and were known and reputable people who had on several occasions engaged in physical crypto conferences so everything was set to have a blast of a project so those of us who invested were waiting to enjoy a good ride with the project. Unfortunately, when they lunched, the project died almost immediately and we all lost money. Till date they have not recovered and team became confused. So DYOR does not always lead to success, so one should always consider investing what he can afford to lose. |

Exactly, if an investor is determined to invest in bitcoin, he will trim down his expenses and stay off from irrelevant expenses and use that money to buy bitcoin. I am using myself as an example, I remembered when I have not known bitcoin, I use funds to drink a bottle of beer every day and on weekends I spend money on outing and sometime gambling.
I also cut down on my expenses too but not the weekend outing and relaxation because that is very important to me as a way of relieving the stress of the week and preparing for the next week ahead. I don't have to stop living my life and taking care if the body as well as my mental health because I want to have large chunk of Bitcoin, so I set my target of the quantity of Bitcoin I want to achieve in a certain time to suit my finances as well as my simple lifestyle. Many people build wealth by denying themselves certain things they need and often end up using the money to treat themselves. I have seen few of such people who never got the chance to enjoy the welath they built during their active service. This is not right in my opinion because I have the mindset that one should live now while working heard to secure the future and I see investment in Bitcoin and any other thing as a way of securing the future but we must not ignore the need to live life now so that we will be string physically and mentally to enjoy the future. I'm not advocating for extravagant lifestyle, but just a simple lifestyle that balances the body system and make every moment of one's life count. Unless an investor considers himself an expert (based on experience) in Bitcoin investment and if he has enough funds to invest that is when he can be able to use several strategies to invest in Bitcoin. A beginner in Bitcoin investment will only destroy his investment if he cannot maintain consistency in one strategy.
An investor who have met several cycles of Bitcoin might know how to make good use of several strategies to have a good Bitcoin portfolio. When an investor becomes entangled in combining various strategies there is the possibility of mistakes and regrets. For instance, an investor using the DCA method will easily know how much funds is allocated into Bitcoin and how much to put into Bitcoin at certain times. But when lump sum purchase is added and also buying the dips, when Bitcoin drop rapidly, he might face the confusion of putting more money during the dip more than was budgeted for busying using that method. Rhe same could happen when price is surging and it is looking like price broke out and will never come back. Investing in Bitcoin is supposed to be the easiest thing to do especially when the aim is to hold for several years. The bulk of the job is never in the method of buying the Bitcoin but how the purchased Bitcoin is managed to ensure its longevity. |

I don't gamble with emotions because gambling is strictly business for me and I have most of my fun when I win. I might be supporting a team but that does not stop me from playing against them if they meet my condition for selection. This is why I cannot continue to playing a bet that will fail simply because I support the team or player, I won't do that and I can't do it. I know a few friends that bet in favour of their team every time they have match. I also know sole gamblers that bet in favour if certain individual simply because they are their fans or from the same country. I don't consider this a good way to go about gamble.

Surely, there is no exact formula even though there can be reasonable ways to get started, and some folks are going to have to figure out their local options, which also can take a while to figure out.. .and many of us might take a while to just set up one account on an exchange or we might try to find places that we can buy directly, which can be harder to do if the purchases are every week. Some current BTC holders might not want to sell small amounts of BTC (such as less than a few hundred dollars), but individuals are going to vary and maybe some folks might not want to sell directly if they have to replace their coins. I remember when I used to sell bitcoin directly and in person, I would replace them, so I wanted to make sure that my selling costs were going to be higher than my replacement costs (so maybe even having something like a 5% premium), otherwise it would not be worth it for me to go through with the transaction.

You have to keep your goals and investing strategy levels right, the way you mentioned investing here is not correct at all. Because when an investor invests by following the DCA method, after meeting his basic needs, he can invest in Bitcoin with all the extra money. Properly he can sustain his investment for a long time, and if an investor invests all his income in Bitcoin, he will never be able to sustain his investment for a long time. That is why we need to follow the DCA method in our investments by following the DCA method and targeting the next Bitcoin market. This is the mistake that many investors including myself made when I started and it drew me back a little because I had to sell some of my Bitcoin when I had some challenges I needed to fix urgently. When I learnt the DCA method, I was so excited that I started implementing it almost immediately but then I never learnt about the need for emergency funds. I don't think any shop will risk openly accepting Bitcoin following our government position on cryptocurrency and anything related to it. We should not forget so soon how the government clamped down on exchanges, forcing them to discontinue allowing Nigerians to use their p2p services with some outright ban of Nigerians in all their services. Going by this, no business will openly accept Bitcoin to avoid taking avoidable risk because I do not see doing so as a smart move. Before the government crackdown started, I knew a lot of shops and businesses that accept Bitcoin even in our city PH but for now they are all on low-keys to avoid problems. Some exchanges allow the setting up of automatic DCAing. You can choose an amount and a frequency, perhaps daily, weekly or some other inverval - exchanges will vary in t how an automated DCA could be set up and part of the reason that I don't like them is that they usually cannot be set up for a very specific time, but instead at the the most daily, so the exchange will likely batch all of the DCA's at the same time and might even play shenanigans with the DCAs, though maybe some of the exchanges have improved their systems. If you are going to use an exchange to automatically DCA, I would look into how they describe their way of executing the automatic DCAs.
Manual DCA is that you do your own buy, and surely you can even set your buy up as a market taker limited order rather than having your order be a market maker. Market takers have lower fees than market makers, and of course, people are going to have differing rates and differing options depending on their geographical location and which exchanges are available to them.

We literally learn each day , well I think I will continue with my manual DCAing for now , but I will still like to know more about the automatic DCAing and how it works, so that I can also teach it to others . I am pretty sure that most major exchanges have such an option to employ some kind of an automatic DCA. Below is a screen shot from BinanceUS's description of various automatic buy options... From the drop down menu, you can choose to buy one time (which is not automatic, it is right away) or you can set up automatic buy parameters within one of the four options that are available through their system.  It is likely that Binance (not BinanceUS) has some similar options, and some of the exchanges will allow the client to customize their automatic DCA more than others, yet I still have not found an exchange or service that allows the customer to select the hour of the day that his automatic buy is executed, so that is part of my objection to all of the automated DCAs getting executed around the same time or maybe just the lack of transparency regarding when they are actually executed.. but you can see that Binance's automatic DCA is pretty strict (or limited) in terms of when/how you can employ automatic DCA, which is daily or the various other increments that they show which amount to Binance's likely executing the DCAs in somewhat non-transparent ways on about a daily basis for their varying customers with differing automatic DCA preferences...and surely some people don't really care about those kinds of details that might ONLY end up affecting their buy orders by a percentage point or even less.. which is part of the reason that I would just prefer to manually execute my own, in the times that I am inclined to do it... but for some folks it is surely not any big deal as long as they get their buys in at the period that they had specified the exchange to execute their automated DCA buy orders. This is like learning on the job which is one of the most effective ways of learning. Someone who start his Bitcoin investing by putting in small money while continuing to better his understanding of how Bitcoin works and how to make the most of the opportunities therein will most likely do better than someone who want to know everything about Bitcoin before getting started. From experience, those who want to know too much before getting started tend to procrastinate or get discouraged along the line because of no financial commitment from the onset. For the example you gave, it might just be that they want to be sure that their money is invested into something that they can trust so they will be able to take ownership and responsibility of the investment. This is not a bad thing for me because "no one test the depth of a river with both legs". I believe in the principle that says where there is financial commitment, people will become serious about it. I was shocked to see Villarreal coming from a 1-2 trail at half time to win the match 4-3 at full time. This is indeed a wonderful match and worth the time spent watching it. At a point I felt that Celta Vigo was going to win the match until the own goal of Jailson entered at the 64th minute that killed the morale of Celta Vigo although they never gave up but still went ahead to score at the 80th minute to make it 3-3 at which point I concluded it was going to end in a draw. It was at 10 minutes into the extra time that Villarreal got a penalty which Dani Parejo missed before scoring to make the match a win for Villarreal. |

Hellas Verona players did not attack much in the first match against Napoli. However, the team still managed to score three goals because Napoli's defense was weak. But today their opponent is a strong team like Juventus. Juventus's defense is very strong. We saw Juventus' strong defense in the previous season as well. But Juventus failed to compete for the title due to the weakness of their attacking players. But this season, Juventus coach Thiago Motta has strengthened the attacking side of his squad. And I would say Motta has managed to build a perfect squad this season. And this team has the ability to win the Serie A title.
It seems Juventus is fully back on track with the appointment of Thiago Motta as their coach following the departure of Massimiliano Allegri who had a very turbulent stay at Juventus that is greeted with massive hard luck and frustrations. Even though Motta have only played two matches this season, their results shows so much hope. They have won all their matches and have not conceded a single goal, that shows something have changed with the team because if it were the recent Juventus under their previous manager, they easily concede goal against any average side. Do you noticed that there are many complaints recently about gambling sites blocking the accounts of some users. The user may have more than one account but maybe they do not read the terms of service before gambling. This is the ones that we heard of. There would be more than we did not know.
The first three gambling sites that I used which were local gambling sites, I did not read the terms of service. I use the same ISP to open 3 accounts for the first gambling site. I saw no problem because I lost money than win which makes me to to have a single withdrawal. Supposing that I won huge amount of money, they could have used multi accounting as an excuse not to let me withdraw the money.
It would be good for newbies and many people on this forum that are not even newbies to read the terms of service of the gambling site that they are using. Having more than one account is against the ToS of all or most of the gambling sites.
This may just be the real reason behind those account closures that we have seen this year across many casinos. I have been wondering why such things will happen even in some reputable casinos and sine no one even mention which section of the casinos TOS were violated, I have not thought it could be multiple account creation in the same casino. It is not supposed to be difficult to know that using many accounts for casino that specify only one account will be a big problem especially when the casino makes KYC mandatory. |
