Did anyone catch those panic buys right before the dev made that announcement?
People loosing hope in XST, developer must do something special to hold the community, Coin always succeed with community, without community coin do not hold any value. Very true, I'm involved with Syscoin & Ethereum it would be great to see Stealthcoin utilize some of their marketing techniques. Stealthcoin just needs exposure the technology it has is a cut above other alts. There is zero spent on marketing stealthcoin right now which is the reason we're not attracting new XST supporters. You could help do it! I'm doing what I can, I've been active on Reddit but need help from the board as you can see these posts are short lived. Maybe it needs something sensationalist. Can stelth claim the first TOR network cryptocurrency? http://www.reddit.com/r/altcoin/comments/2bp2v4/stealthcoin_xst_the_underdog_of_anonymous_crypto/http://www.reddit.com/r/altcoin/comments/2bp2v4/stealthcoin_xst_the_underdog_of_anonymous_crypto/

This is Hondo.
I just registered this newbie account "StealthSend" in preparation for releasing functionality of the same name for XST. I'll post from this account in the future so you know it's me. At some point, this "StealthSend" account will be used by the team in general. "StealthDevs" is still the team account, and of course the "StealthCoin" account is unrelated to this project.
The purpose of the present post is to let the community know that we are going to make a "stable release" of the wallet available tomorrow (and not tonight, as planned). I'm working on Stealth Send tonight while other members of the team redesign the website. We will make visual changes to the wallet as well. It looks like the wallet beta release 1.0.4.1 is working well, so we encourage anyone who hasn't already updated to use this version. In terms of basic coin operations, the stable release will not have any changes from the beta, given the excellent performance of the beta wallet so far. We decided to postpone a new release until the redesign was finished because of the performance of 1.0.4.1.
Now that the wallet is starting to play nice - I really think you guy's should step up on Twitter you could hit a 1000 followers is no time with the right tweets - Coins like Ethereum/Syscoin/Feathercoin/Ultracoin have generated exposure by using the right hashtags - it would be great to see #stealthsend trending. http://ultracoin.net/blog/why-twitter-is-ultracoins-1-best-friend/

God dammit my wallet keeps syncing perfectly, I'm not use to this Devs.

Lol at people buying ARCoin, a direct (and still) clone of this.
ARcoin - So it has TOR and Stealth Send, could this impact XST? No. It's a clone of XST. If either coin gets "Big" people will realize it and come to the more innovative coin offering actual value to holders (XST). Thanks, I've got a nice healthy wallet staking like a charm - keen to see some e-commerce come through.

Thanks for the update Hondo - Rooting for stealthcoin! I think pitching to some of the Chinese exchanges could be really beneficial - Houbi/Okcoin are really trying to capture USD deposits and may be receptive to XST.

The price right now is a total joke. I confirmed Stealth Market development is on track and active. I'll continue buying anywhere under 1000. This coin will reach 1000-1500 with some more minor developments. It's all up to Hondo & the devs rolling out blockchain obusification from there. I think you'll do very well out of this - I've got 150k coins about to go for another buyin at this price.

Thanks to the Community
Hondo here:
It looks like that together we have made the Stealth Coin block chain healthy.
I've been able to find a couple of sticking points in block validation that cause synchronization issues. So far things look good, but I won't relax until the block chain moves along smoothly for a few days.
Users have staked a lot of coins with lots of transactions, so block times look to be very much on target. This type of community involvement will keep Stealth Coin strong and make it a good long-term investment.
If everyone shares debug.log files as they have problems, we can keep Stealth Coin running smoothly and the team can focus more on the next phase of development.
We'll have a market development roadmap soon that will accompany a technology whitepaper (which has been requested by a number of users).
As a coin developer, my first priority is to ensure that the block chain moves along and users have good wallets. But we are also working on block chain analysis resistance, which will speed up as the number of issues related to launching a new coin grow fewer. These types of issues affect all coins that aren't carbon-copy clones, but I think we've nailed the worst of the issues.
If no one reports any problems in the next 16 or so hours, I'll make an official release based on the latest beta.
I know the wallet is top priority but I've started a reddit, it would be great if you could take a moment and add your 2xst - This goes for everyone! http://www.reddit.com/r/altcoin/comments/2bp2v4/stealthcoin_xst_the_underdog_of_anonymous_crypto/Thanks!

Any news on Stealthmarket? I'm going to post an update on alt subreddit.

Stealthcoin - Stealthsend & Stealthmarket will make it's usage as a currency viable, which is why I'm in. Also, the coin hasn't been hyped and it's been a bumpy launch, which for me adds to it's intrigue.

I'm new on this thread - sorry if this has been asked before, but what's the difference between Sys vs Ether? I'm about to change some litcoin to BTC for an investment. Any advice would be much appreciated.
If you want to see your investment this year, then sys coin it is. the amount of ether that will be mined every year is dependent on how many they sell during IPO. so the more they sell the more that will be mined the year of release, giving a bigger dilution to the already mined/bought coins. Sys coin will be released fully working with apps and working code by 16th of august. Ether you have another 12 days to purchase at this price and then another 28 days after that to further buy some. then you have to wait till at least December/January to see anything if at all. Sys coin offers refund on failure to deliver (escrow thru moolah) Ethereum team are allowed to use upto 5000 btc before anything is even done properly or working and if it is a complete failure not a single refund. Thank you very much, I did some further reading as well. I'm off to drop some BTC on Sys!

Great effort, just not sure if the "all black everything" look is as inviting to non stealthers...btw, I'm attempting to make "stealthers" a thing....

I'm all synced - if it goes out of sync I just delete the peers.dat file and restart seems to do the trick.

LOL very nice! ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) 1. That hard drive is never coming back Of course the award for all time greatest bitcoin fail has to go to James Howells from Wales, who sent £4.2 million to the landfill when he chucked out a hard drive containing the private keys for 7,500 bitcoin. Coming just a month after the news that Norwegian PhD student Kristoffer Koch had bought himself a house after discovering an old hard drive with 5,000 bitcoin on it (which he paid only $27 for in 2009), James Howells’ landfill story felt especially painful. Just WOW. Story like this is just too crazy, $27 turning to $3,000,000 or $6,000,000 at high It would drive you insane for the rest of your life! This is also painful to read... https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/History"October 5 Exchange rates published by New Liberty Standard. $1 = 1,309.03 BTC (and theymos thought NLS was overcharging[3])"
