8700 SILVER / GOLD MONACO CARD REGISTRATIONS WOULD CREATE A BUY WALL TIDAL WAVE THAT WOULD PURCHASE EVERY SINGLE MCO TOKEN CURRENTLY AT BITTREX.

MY ADVICE:

1. GET 500 MCO ASAP.

2. UPGRADE YOUR MONACO CARD RESERVATION TO SILVER / GOLD.

3. HODL.

Monaco team sells MCO back on bittrex the same minute you pay them 500 MCO through the app to buy the card. He thinks he's so smart. Monaco staff has a good laugh on Monday.

LIAR !!! LIAR !!! PANTS ON FIRE !!!

MCO USED TO BUY SILVER / GOLD MONACO CARDS WILL BE FROZEN IN AN ETHEREUM SMART CONTRACT AND TAKEN OUT OF CIRCULATION ENTIRELY FOR SIX MONTHS.

AN MCO SHORTAGE IS COMING.  WAIT AND SEE.

Let me give you guys something to think about.   Do the math !!!

There are 9.8M MCO tokens currently in circulation.  All the rest (around 21.8M more) are locked up for at least 90 more days.

https://coinmarketcap.com/assets/monaco/

Of the 9.8M MCO in circulation, 4.3M or almost half the total are currently on Bittrex.

https://etherscan.io/token/Monaco?a=0xfbb1b73c4f0bda4f67dca266ce6ef42f520fbb98

So far in just over 48 hours, over 7000 people have preregistered for a Monaco card.

(This is somebody else's registration screen capture - there's  a Black card reserved for me Smiley )

Seems logical that we will get to 8700 preregistrations from the current 7000.

Question - what if they all reserve silver / gold Monaco cards?  Well, they'll ALL have to purchase 500 MCO from Bittrex and then freeze that MCO out of circulation for six months.

How much MCO would that take, to issue 8700 silver / gold MCO cards?

Well, 8700 * 500 = 4.35M MCO.

THAT'S MORE MCO TOKENS THAN ARE CURRENTLY IN THE ENTIRE BITTREX WALLET.

Let that sink in.  Roll that thought around your brain until the lightbulb goes off over your head.

3. HODL.

Could you higlight the differences between Monaco and TenX for me?
Or are they basically doing the same and are just competetors and we have to wait and see who will perform better?

TenX is basically offering a rebranded Wavecrest "MyChoice" VISA card.  For TenX users, WaveCrest is the actual card issuer and TenX is just a middleman getting a cut of the fees generated.

https://mychoicecorporate.com/

https://www.tenx.tech/card-terms.html

Monaco is trying to establish themselves as an original card issuer, which means they have to meet the same VISA standards as any major bank.

https://usa.visa.com/dam/VCOM/download/about-visa/15-April-2015-Visa-Rules-Public.pdf

Monaco is aiming to establish itself higher up the "credit food chain" than TenX has initially done.  It is possible that in a few years TenX could switch from WaveCrest to Monaco as its actual card issuer.

Also, Monaco is focusing on having the lowest rates of exchange for many foreign fiat currencies.  So Monaco is not only about Crypto, it is about Forex, too.  And Forex is a LOT bigger than Crypto.

The only thing I don't understand is what's the difference between Monaco/Tenx and some other debit cards I've seen online like Uquid? Why is Monaco said to be the first?

How does the 'committment' works techincally? What happens if I reserve a Red Card... when and how the 6 months committment of MCOs token start? Is it safe?

It will be done with an Ethereum smart contract.  The Ethereum blockchain itself is acting as escrow.  Monaco is actually using one of the core capabilities of Ethereum to boost their own token price.  Brilliant.

I hope they get somebody besides TokenMarket to write the smart contract, though.... Smiley

Guys, it seems interesting to me that mco token still hold its quite strong position on exchanges despite fresh news from visa. Even Monaco would add Visa support, it cannot be used outside the Euro zone. Or Monaco Visa debit card will be created on another principles and still will be available to other markets?

https://news.bitcoin.com/bitcoin-debit-cards-non-european-residents-visas-new-rules/

Look at the middle of the article.  "New Visa Rules; ID Verification Required".

Xapo, China-based BTCC, German-based Bitwala and Canada-based Shakepay are all exiting the Bitcoin crypto debit VISA market because they are not doing 100% identity verification per the new VISA rules.

Monaco *** IS *** doing 100% identity verification with the Monaco app.

Looks like Monaco is following the new VISA rules and stands to pick up some market share abandoned by its competition.

HODL.

Is this a joke? lol tried the app and it forces me to send them goverment id..
They forgot it is crypto world? They didn't heard about KYC ?

Now I understand why every one saying TenX wll win, I just installed TenX and you only need to provide ID's on KYC lvl2.

No KYC, no VISA.  5000+ people so far are OK with that, and the number is growing.  Adherence to KYC is why Monaco will eventually win and TenX will eventually lose in the Bitcoin crypto debit card market.

You guys are not seeing or talking about the upcoming rocket ride that was announced yesterday.  Forget the Moon, MCO price is headed for the stars.

Get the free blue plastic card, you're limited to $200 per month free ATM cash withdrawals from your crypto stash.

Get the red metal card, you're bumped up to $400 monthly free ATM cash withdrawals forever from your crypto stash - but you gotta freeze 50 MCO in a smart contract for a mere six months.  That's not a bad deal.

Get the silver/gold metal card, you're bumped up to $800 monthly free ATM cash withdrawals forever from your crypto stash - but you gotta freeze 500 MCO in a smart contract for a mere six months.  That's not a bad deal, either.

Say 10,000 people get a red card.  They freeze 10K*50 = 0.5M MCO out of the market for six months.  That's over 5% of the total current circulating supply of MCO.

Say 1,000 people get a gold / silver card.  They freeze another 1K*500 = 0.5M MCO  or another 5% of total MCO supply out of the market for six months.

10% of total supply of MCO can very plausibly get locked up for six months by the first 11,000 Monaco metal card holders.  This could easily happen - there's already over 8500 people holding MCO.....

https://etherscan.io/token/Monaco#balances

There's no reason why you should stop a one metal card.  You need to withdraw $5000 per month for free?  Buy multiple metal cards with multiple freezes of MCO.

What if there are 20K metal card holders by the end of the year?  50K?  What if they sign up for multiple cards?

Do the math.  Think of the possibilities.  MCO currently has a very limited circulating supply of under 10M tokens.  People are gonna be buying those precious MCO tokens at Bittrex soon to get their precious metal cards.  The price of MCO is gonna skyrocket as more and more metal cards get purchased in the next few months and more and more MCO gets taken out of circulation.

Can anybody explain what will be the role of MCO coin when the system is launched? Will it pay dividends or whatever? I haven't found anything in their whitepaper.

But anyway, what role will MCO token play in Monaco ecosystem?

All of the "1% transaction fees" gathered by the Monaco project are stored in a smart contract.  MCO tokens are ownership shares of that smart contract's assets.  You can burn your tokens at any time to claim your share of that smart contract.  See Section 1.4 of the whitepaper.

https://mona.co/monaco-whitepaper.pdf

"1.4. MCO Asset Contract
MCO Asset Contract accrues a 1% licensing fee on
transactions using the Monaco Card
funded with
ETH/BTC, as well as exchange transactions between
ETH/BTC and fiat currencies. Over time MCO will be
backed by a portfolio of the most popular ERC20
tokens. MCO holders will be able to access the
portfolio through a mechanism called “REDEEM &
BURN” (see 1.6).

So basically, you make money by holding your Monaco coins !

I wonder what the possibilities are as far as users (1 million 2 million.)

How many transactions per day would they generate.

I wonder how much 1 Monaco could be worth based on the fees generated through users ?

So will be able to generate income from fees generated tommorow once the app launches.

Why wonder...use math!

Say there's 1 million Monaco card users.  Say they spend $3600 per year or around $10 per day.  That's $3.6 Billion per year.  1% of that goes to the MCO Assets smart contract as usage fees, or around $36 million.   There's roughly 34M Monaco MCO tokens.  So, bottom line....

Every million Monaco card users spending $10 per day will put a little more than a dollar per year in your pocket for every MCO token you hold.

On the leak it is appear an agreement with VISA, but Kris Marszalek, the CEO of Monaco card says No agreement with VISA, but he would to investigate the leak !!!!! it is strange

Either VISA announces tomorrow simultaneously with the app launch, or this is a ready-to-go page to rotate in at the app site when VISA finally does come onboard.

The bottom line is the same : VISA is coming.  I am hodling.

And if that is a complete photoshop, Monaco needs to hire whoever did it.  Very slick work on that webpage.  "Click here to see why Monaco is better."  I love it.

256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [MCO] MONACO #1 Cryptocurrency Payments Card on: August 29, 2017, 10:12:57 PM

THERE ARE CURRENTLY 10.7 PAY TOKENS IN CIRCULATION FOR EVERY MCO TOKEN

FOR A UNIT OWNERSHIP SHARE IN MCO COSTING THE CURRENT $23, AN EQUIVELENT OWNERSHIP SHARE OF PAY COSTS 10.7 * $4.25 = $45.50

AN OWNERSHIP SHARE IN MONACO IS CURRENTLY AROUND HALF THE COST OF A TENX OWNERSHIP SHARE

MCO STILL HAS LEGS TO GO UP UP UP.

Ok based on your very basic math and ratios its obvious you don't understand psychology coinciding with economics in a speculative market.

If I would have taken your advice based on your math for ethereum compared to zcash I would have gained half of what i did.

Supply of Ethereum is 94,317,125
Supply of zcash is 2,069,094

That means Ethereum should be worth 45 ETH for every 1 zcash.
But here we are today with zcash lagging and falling at $270 while Ethereum is $370 with the 2nd largest market share than the next 5 coins.
GET REAL MAN.
The markets are psychological as well.

TENX and Monaco are roughly the same projects - a crypto based VISA card.

Ethereum and Zcash are completely different projects - a world computer vs. a totally anonymous money supply.

I'm comparing apples.  You are making statements about oranges and bananas.

My math is fine and I stand by it.
257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [MCO] MONACO #1 Cryptocurrency Payments Card on: August 29, 2017, 05:43:09 PM
What you need to remember is ( and i am right now) is that no one really gives a fck what you have to say. Take your position based on your own gut instinct and stick with it.

You, sir, are a very wise man.

TenX's price might be 1/6th that of MCO but the market cap is twice as large. You're ignoring supply. So laugh away.

So, sir, are you.

Under total tokens do they mean total supply or circulating supply? I have noticed on coinmarketcap that total supply is 3.5 times higher.

Total tokens = total supply, which is around 34M MCO if I remember correctly.  Currently only about a third of the MCO tokens are unlocked and available for trading.   Even when they are all unlocked, a third will be a "treasury reserve" for the Monaco project itself rather than the personal benefit of the devs.  I would bet that treasury will not go on the market for a long, long time.
