241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FOMO is not good at all times! on: July 26, 2019, 08:58:14 AM
Fomo is never good nor offers anything other than the person turning to a bag holder. The first thing to learn about trading is always to be contented with any profit made while overlooking the anticipated profits thereafter. It might looks silly but that's the best way to curtail loss.

When the price has risen more than 2x the previous price, we better start being careful. Experienced traders can certainly take from a lumped price up to many times, but new traders will definitely suffer losses when buying at a time when prices start high
242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your thoughts on Facebook's GlobalCoin on: July 20, 2019, 08:42:05 AM
GlobalCoin is coming. What are your thoughts on this new Facebook-made altcoin? What have you heard about it?

Share your first impression!

I think it's natural that Facebook launches global coin when it sees the growth of the cryptocurrency market that continues to grow. This shows that large companies have begun to see opportunities in the cryptocurrency market and show recognition of cryptocurrency. Hopefully after this regulation from the government can follow
243  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounties rules and regulations on: July 20, 2019, 08:38:36 AM
Before you start complaining that bounty managers change bounty rules after bounty ended or KYC was later implemented do you read the bounty rules and regulations?

Many bounties have already says it all in their rules and regulations that 'THE BOUNTY MANAGER HAS THE RIGHT TO CHANGE RULES AT ANY TIME' when you see something like that always know that anything can happen ,the one way to avoid this is if there is no such rules on the bounty thread.

Bounty hunters still find it very hard to read, they care less about rules and go for the good looking bounty allocation, please have patience and go through rules and regulations ,most times its not always the bounty managers fault.

Sometimes there are changes due to the request of the developer team, but usually the bounty manager always requests KYC at the start of the campaign. This is intended so that when there is a change, bounty hunters can prepare documents. I think the Bounty manager has the right to change the rules and if we don't cheat, I think we will be ready for KYC
244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hot Altcoins on: July 20, 2019, 08:35:19 AM
Besides BTC, there are thousands of altcoins. Everyday there are new currencies.

Other than top 20 currencies, what are hot and profitable currencies you think?

Do you think that fresh new currencies are always profitable?

But I don't have so many accounts in various exchanges to buy these altcoins. To be have verified accounts in many exchanges is difficult for me.

Apart from bitcoin and coins in the top 20, I prefer Elastos and Fantom. There are still a few more coins that I hold but I see the two coins have pretty good prospects. Besides being traded on large exchangers, both coins have large liquidity
245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO can be a safer investment option than ICO on: July 19, 2019, 05:51:42 AM
IEO become safety than ICOs but we have always protect our money with investing on IEO listed with higher exchange market like binance, bittrex or best exchange market.

I also often choose reputable exchanges to join the IEO because most exchanges with great liquidity always have a lot of quality and easy IEOs that can earn high profits if you're lucky enough to be involved. I have participated in many great IEOs and perhaps Huobi is the exchange that made me the biggest profit ever. Hopefully other exchanges in the near future can be similar to Huobi and Binance because the more IEOs the higher the profits will be.

The IEO held by a large binary or huobi exchanger always gives a big profits to investors. This is what makes investors prefer the IEO than ICO. ICO does not guarantee that will listings on large exchanger, while the IEO held by binance always reach sales target within minutes
246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is BCH worth investing? on: July 19, 2019, 05:48:29 AM
It's up about 18% now and trading at $523, according to coin360.
What influences this pump?

When compared to BSV, I prefer BCH. BSV coins have too much controversy and make negative impact on the market. With blocks larger than bitcoin, transactions using BCH are fast enough and I think BCH can be a good investment in the future
247  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty Question on: July 19, 2019, 05:40:41 AM
Is it normal that projects will not pay bounty rewards because their sales doesnt reached the target?

Is the bounty manager will be liable to here even its not in their control that ICO failed?

I want to joined Soc Med campaign but I read somewhere that some projects really dont pay at end because of ICO failure.

When a new project cannot reach the funding target, the project cannot run and is usually canceled. Therefore, it is normal for bounty hunters not to get paid and this happened to me several times. Why get tokens for this, but these tokens are not traded on the market
248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: hardware wallets safe? on: July 13, 2019, 06:31:59 AM
I personally think it is safe as an offline wallet offers the highest level of security for storing crypto is it involves storing the funds in a secured place that is not connected to any network. This type of wallet can also offer good protection against computer vulnerabilities. The hardware wallets are the best type of offline wallet that offers very high security and ease of use. Also, as these wallets allow backup, you can easily recover your funds if you lose this device.

One such example of a hardware wallet is Trezor. It operates as secure cold storage. You can easily transfer bitcoins to the device using the Trezor interface, which is accessible from macOS, Linux, Windows, and Android. Its interface is quite easy to use that lists your coins and recent transactions.

Trezor uses a 12 to 24-word seed for protection and recovery and a user-defined PIN. You can also add an encrypted passphrase to your wallet for an added layer of security.

what say u?

I was thinking of buying Trezor or Ledger Nano S these days because I don't have plans in storing my precious assets in exchanges and centralised crypto wallets.

As of now, storing it in a hardware wallet is the safest of them all. I just need to plug it in, transfer my Bitcoin and other altcoins, and plug it out.

However, there are disadvantages as well such as being damaged by shock, dust and water, and getting it misplaced or lost. We just need to take good care of it.

Having hardwallet I think is necessary if we have a large portfolio. In addition to security, hardwallet is safer than hackers because it is not connected to the internet. Whatever type of wallet we use, it will be safer if we do not share a private key or seed word because other people can access our wallet
249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Could you recommend two good altcoins? on: July 13, 2019, 06:28:04 AM
I am considering buy two altcoins, can anyone give some recommendation? I have about $1000 to invest in altcoin.
ethereum and litecoin on the best investment for your future because we seen lots of successful development from these currencies so if you had to invest on good currencies you can trust and try this Investments.

Ethereum has always been an option after bitcoin, apart from being the most popular altcoin, ethereum is ranked 2 coinmarketcap. Apart from ethereum, my choice of altcoin is EOS because it has large liquidity and traded in most exchanger
250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Libra the future anyone wants? on: July 13, 2019, 06:24:59 AM
Libra has raised fears about the future of blockchain mainly because it goes against everything the community wants and believes in: decentralization.

Facebook could ultimately create a massive closed-loop revenue model from ads, digital marketplace, to payments. Do consumers want to bet on the status quo of existing monoliths?

https://elixxir.io/blog/is-libra-the-future-anyone-wants

There are several cryptocurrency which are centralized and don't seem to be a threat, for example XRP or utility token. I think there is no serious threat to the presence of Libra Coin on the cryptocurrency market because basically Libra coin and bitcoin have different ways of using it.
251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO IS WAY BETTER on: July 13, 2019, 06:21:46 AM
IEO (initial exchange offering) is better than ICO,to participate in any IEO you have to be a member on the exchange launching the IEO ,this are my reasons

1)IEO is safer and better than ICO because its not what anyone can just conduct ,to conduct an IEO the project teams must meet and comply with the exchanges requirements in order to launch the token sale .

2)contributors are protected by the exchange, why? Many big exchanges offering the IEO now are after there reputations so its not easy to launch IEO through them,if the project before them is not genuine enough the exchanges won't dare take the risk.

I think this is what many investors have been waiting for , better risk limiting investment ,IEO is the only way to go
,don't forget ,DYOR ,thank you

IEO now attracts many investors and promises profits after listing on the market. But not all exchangers are good for IEO because several days ago there was a new project that felt cheated by large enough exchanger.
252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't get your hopes too high on: July 12, 2019, 12:57:42 AM
Don't get your hopes too high when promoting bounty projects especially bounties with very high allocations like in millions of $$$ ,they are never the same again unlike in the past ,all you have to do now is just depend on yourself and promote good projects and wait for end results.

When promoting a new project, I only hope that the project can be listed on the market and achieve a minimum target of soft caps. With that way, bounty hunters get paid and also can sell it on the market, but if the project is good with a solid developer team, maybe I will hold it back for the long term
253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do u think about BNB? Worth to buy? on: July 06, 2019, 05:00:49 AM
The answer will be yes, BNB is a good investment due to its reputation as an exchange site, BNB coin will be very useful for most of the traders for a lesser fee, so the demand for this coin will be constantly getting higher as the new users for that exchange will increase.

BNB Coin shows a rapid development since mainnet and uses its own blockchain. Many altcoins currently use BNB Chain and are traded at Binance DEX. Binance DEX transactions also continue to grow and this will increase investor interest in investing in BNB Coin
254  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is regulation good or bad? on: July 06, 2019, 04:57:20 AM
I think regulation that bridges both the crypto community and governments appropriately are going to succeed. For example the recent ciphertrace and shyft partnership in response to the FATF guidelines?  https://finance.yahoo.com/news/ciphertrace-shyft-partner-address-fatf-130000581.html

I agree, regulation will bridge between law and investors. Investors must need legal certainty about their investment and the government wants to get a tax on crypto trading on the market. With regulations from the government, investors will be more comfortable
255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin season is not here yet. on: July 05, 2019, 08:13:17 AM
The growth of altcoins is now due to the growth of bitcoin. Altcoins significantly increased in $ equivalent, but in relation to bitcoin growth is very weak or not at all. I think that most altcoins will follow the trend this year but will not give much growth.

Altcoin price rose against US dollar due to the strengthening of the bitcoin so it has not been said to be an altseason. Altseason will happen if altcoin price strengthens against bitcoin and reducing bitcoin dominance on the market.
256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lesson from bear market on: July 05, 2019, 08:10:04 AM
The bear market was worst from 2018 until the beginning of this year and i learned something.
What i learned is, when there is bear market, there will be correction after its over.
Now the situation of the market is not in bearish anymore, but more bull and already showed some corrections from last month.

Agree, the worst bear market occurs in 2018. Bitcoin prices even plunge to 80% from highest prices and many altcoin prices plunge to 90% from highest prices and many ICOs don't reach the target. I think now the market start recovering and there's a chance to buy a good altcoin
257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sometimes its always the investors fault on: July 03, 2019, 07:53:29 AM
Either ICO IEO or STO, this shouldn't be what you will rely upon to get great benefits from new projects, what makes a difference is the thing that the teams are attempting to construct ,the inquiries you should begin posing to yourselves is what innovative idea will the new project offer crypto space ? Also, how great are teams records.

Many investors are complaining that they are at lose investing in some IEO projects ,these investors believe that all IEO projects are good and should be able to double or triple their ROI which is not possible unless they actually do good research on the projects first ,lack of research will always leads investors astray

Every investment made is risky and I think every investor is aware of this. A good investor will certainly do research on the project or the developers team because investors are definitely looking for profit from each investment. Profit or loss is common in the investment world and I think it will be an experience and make investors more experienced to make a profit
258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should we boycott the Facebook Coin (Project Libra)? on: July 03, 2019, 07:50:01 AM
Facebook is the antithesis of everything Satoshi stood for.

Should we, as the crypto community, boycott their effort?

I wouldn't be surprised if Facebook tried to use their massive wealth and lobbying arm to try and push for laws that favored their crypto and somehow harmed others.

It wouldn't be the first time that a company had engaged in lobbying and rent-seeking to harm competitors.

All these points are just guesses. Facebook alone cannot ditch the growth of other popular crypto currencies, especially BTC and ETH.

I never thought Libra coin would be a competitor for bitcoin because Libra coin were like stable coins. There are many differences between Libra coin and bitcoin, I think investors will choose bitcoin as an investment because of the fluctuating price
259  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins Holders ,be calm on: July 03, 2019, 07:46:31 AM
yes, at this time I have seen this phenomenon, since bitcoin has experienced a price increase I see the altcoin looks as if it is trapped, or even tends to decline. this possibility will last a long time. the maximum possibility of altcoin will run in place. this in my opinion and hopefully my opinion is incorrect.

I agree, the altcoin price is currently depressed by the rising price of bitcoin in 2019. Maybe after the bitcoin price began to slump, the altcoin price will rise and reduce the dominance of bitcoin on the market. Currently the dominance of bitcoin on the market is more than 60% and I think this is what makes altcoin price depressed
260  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who Says Bear Market is BAD? on: July 02, 2019, 11:49:51 AM
For some people bear market is an opportunity to buy more coins so that when the bull market comes they will have a profit.

thats right, but for the weak hands bear market is a bad moments in their life
because they will sell all their assets as soon as possible before the price down more, thats mean weak hands is not 100% believe in cryptocurrency
but for me, bears means buy, down deeper means buy more  Wink

People who believe that cryptocurrency is a future investment will still hold it and not sell at cheap prices. When the bear market, there is an opportunity for us to buy tokens or coins at cheap prices. Imagine buying bitcoin at a price of $ 3500 and a few days ago the price of bitcoin reached $ 13,000
