This card has the same hashrate as RX470. It is related to memory chips if you mine Ether. This card has small improvements and you will not see any changes in similar models. If you have possibility to choose between 470 and 570 then take RX470 – it consumes less energe and costs less.

You have very interesting project especially now, when mining profitability is getting down. I read your FAQ about rendering but I didn’t find all answers how to participate in your project, what is exact amount of tokens do I need to have to participate. I hope that after pre-sale you’ll have more detailed guide on your site.

You released very good miner. I’d recommend you to add support for R9 290 and R9 280 GPUs. They are very good GPUs still profitable for XMR mining. They give hashrate like RX470/570 on Cryptonight algos that’s why a lot of people are interested in such a miner for these cards.

Believe me if you are only beginner in mining then use Windows and software like Claymore miner or Phoenix miner for Ethereum. Also try to mine Monero with Claymore or XMRig miners. It is easier to use Windows for mining and it usually gives better hashrate. After some time you will have some experience and you will be able to use Linux for mining.

This program looks very good. But there is a possibility to install Trojan horse with unknown program. It is strange that they don’t have Windows version. I gonna wait until someone will test it at least few days.

It is related to 1% of fee in Claymore miner and to stale shares. To reduce quantity of stales you have to use closest pool to your location with the smallest ping. Also average hashrate depends on your luck – how many shares did you find. It is good to check in HWinfo memory errors in your GPUs. If you overclocked too much, hashrate will be big, but real quantity of shares will be smaller.

I think that the reason is that there are a lot of projects based on the Ethereum or similar blockchains. They are collecting money during ICOs while selling tokens based on Ether. That’s why there are more investments in Ether and altcoins. Bitcoin has its own price as a virtual Gold but now there are strong bearish influence on its price.

I’d recommend you to buy R9 290 GPUs for 1500$ rig with no restrictions for electricity. They are cheap now but they have terrifical performance equal to new GPUs like RX580 even better. The only problem that they have huge power consumption. Naturally they are only second hand right now. For other rig I’d recommend you to buy GTX1060 6 Gb or RX470/570 4/8 Gb. They have good performance and don’t use a lot of electricity after undervolting.

I’m using this mobo more than one year without any problems. I achieved to run only 12 AMD GPUs and as I understood it is related to Windows 10 restrictions. There is a perfect possibility to run 13 GPUs, but you have to use mix of AMD and NVidia GPUs. Good board with good quality.

R460/560 are good cards because they don’t use a lot of electricity and gives about 13 Mh/s while ETH mining. As I see there is some increase of speed after unlocking 1024 Stream processors. It is especially good for Monero and ZCash mining.

This is the first time I've seen this utility. I’m already using OhGodAnETHlargementPill and I’m satisfied with results. I hope that OhGodATool also has such a quality and will help to increase mining performance. Have a success in your great job!

I’m really surprised with this miner. As I saw it makes two times more hashes for RX470/570 cards than Claymore miner. I have to switch my rigs to this miner. Thank you for your good job!

I’d recommend you to mine Ether right now. Also you should be ready to switch mining to Monero. It is very easy to do using Claymore miners for both coins. They have similar command lines, and very similar overclocking. Also you may mine 70% Ether and 30% - Monero. It will be good solution because sometimes their prices vary considerably.

Me too, I don’t buy new cards from January of this year. Profit is miserable. I undervolted my cards as much as I can and I’m accumulating ETHs and Monero waiting for better time.
I think that the best experience you will find on different miner blogs or here on Bitcointalk. There are a lot of different coins but sometimes there are difficulties to find exchange supporting them. For example, recently I mined few HODL coins but I cannot find where to exchange them.
I’m still using one R9 280 with Frankenstein cooler made from two 120 mm fans. I undervolted this card in the Bios and I’m using it for Monero mining. Unfortunately my card has Hynix memory with bad quality so I have only 500 h/s with 1,013V VDDC, GPU Core 1000 Mhz, Memory 1400 Mhz. GPU_Z shows VDDC power only 30 W. I think it’s not so bad.

Situation is much better right now than it was in the beginning of 2014. There are a lot of different possibilities to mine having profit and also we have possibility to participate in rendering projects. Profit is not so big right now, but there is a crisis in overall cryptoworld in 2018, that will not be eternal.

The main difference between these GPUs is that Nitro edition has much more efficient cooling system. Mining performance is equal. Nitro is good especially in summer time when Pulse edition may be overheated.

Hello. I am currently running a rig of two Powercolor Red Dragon RX 580 8Gb's, one Powercolor R9 380X 4gb, and one XFX R9 380x 4gb using Window 10 Pro, Blockchain Driver August 23. XFX sits directly on mainboard, the other three on riser. RX 580 are using modded bios from Anorak.tech ( https://anorak.tech/community/t/bios-request-powercolor-rx580-8gb-red-dragon-samsung/28052). Here are what I got: Hash rate of 101 Mh/s (29.6 for RX 580, 21.4 for Powercolor R9 and 20.5 for XFX R9) Power pulled from the wall is 880W which is very high. Does any have good setting for Powercolor Red Dragon RX 580 to lower power consumption? Thank you For RX 580 you have to use settings -cvddc 830 -mvddc 830 with lower GPU frequency to achieve stability (may be 1150 Mhz, it depends on ASIC quality of your GPU). Most of energy consumes your R9 cards.
