Just do research and spread your investments over a couple of coins. Do not bet on one horse.

Why not believe what he said? There are so many people who passed up on bitcoin that it isn't so unbelievable. Now OP needs to think if it can happen again and if he wants to invest now or maybe has this story repeat.
