what i mean that bitcoiners keep 50000$(exmple)"Fortun" in PC with 500$ is it logic ?
in my point of view they have to be affraid about their safety,i don't know but i think its a problem,Almost our transactions are not anonym so anyone could know how much we have in our wallet,so we will be all "targets" (we have to paid bodey gard for our PC)
i keep alot of wealth on something worth half a penny.. its called a piece of paper (wallet) and no one can hack it unless they are physically at the location.. and even then it would be hard to obtain That's true. I still believe that nothing beats paper wallets. All you have to do is just make sure they are stored in a safe location.

For true devotees of Bitcoin, the price of the digital currency is almost irrelevant. They believe in its inherent value or, more frequently, cannot see any value at all in the alternative of government issued fiat currency. Price is therefore not a concern. At the other end of the spectrum, for those that harbor what appears to be an irrational hatred of Bitcoin and aMany hold out hope that over time Bitcoin will perform as it should in theory and become a store of value, while others simply cannot bear the thought of losing purchasing power in the short term. Even if their motivation for buying crypto-currency in the first place was convenience or just curiosity they can’t stop themselves looking at it as an investment. Whatever the reason, if you see Bitcoin purely as a currency, price matters. [...] http://www.nasdaq.com/article/does-the-price-of-bitcoin-matter-cm476312Since I am a trader. I will say that the price does not matter. What matter the most for trader is the difference between buy and sell. The margin of buy and sell is where trader gain profit. Even if btc is sitting at 5-10 $ per btc. It would not be a problem as long as there is a margin for trader to gain some profit. But as a currency, then price matters OK, let's say you bought your coins @ $250 yesterday and you started trading today, but the price now is ranging between $210-$216. Do you consider that making profit? How many successful trades do you have to make in order to get the lost money and how many more to actually make profit?

Hey there guys,
I see a lot of people and BTC devs talk about the size of BTC blockchain as one of the main issues to be solved in the future. What about adding PoS to BTC?
Since mining difficulty is going to go up more and more, only large miners with access to cheap electricity and a lot of capital will stay in the game.
With PoS, even small miners would be able to stay in the game and benefit from holding BTC. I agree, holding BTC does not help crypto adoption and does not bring new retailers but it might bring back profitability into the game which is one of the main reasons people would accept and invest into Bitcoin.
I m not talking about high PoS, something moderate 3% a year, max.
I ve personally invested into a lot of PoW and PoS coins, DMD Diamond is my favorite, and I would like to see BTC getting some shiny new traits as well. After all, in tech world, it is all about constant innovation.
Yes, Satoshi predicted that. We will reach a equilibrium stage where mining will be handled by those who will stay - or something a long those lines. Go through his posts for the actual message. Yeah, the question is: Who will be the ones that stay? The Rockefeller? Rothschilds? Are we going to centralize Bitcoin?

I sold one for 0.45BTC, because there were no serious buyers. So I believe that he will get one for 0.4-0.5BTC.
Was it a Hero Member account that you have created or one that you have bought? Because it does matter. and what is the difference if it wasnt banned or negative trusted The difference is that to create a hero member from scratch it takes a little under 1.5 years with countless hours of posting. You tend to appreciate that more rather than an account you bought. Aparently though, FeelTheBeat gave it for only 0.45 because there were no buyers. He should have waited IMO

So if I get this correctly they are trying to make a shit alt-coin which is centralized? Basically they want to make the bank version of Ripple, right?
Something like that I suppose but this one will have a better more suitable name. RipUall - if you say it fast enough it sounds like Ripple

In a way that sounds similar like a bitcoin bank which will manage the security, transferring, payment including maintenance on your behalf. If your concern is about groups of people having little or poor knowledge about computer security, I think that would be the way to go about trying to overcome the problem.
Yeah something like that. And before you know fractional reserve appears - once again - to make things "beautiful"

Leaving conspiracy theories out of the question, this is really sound advice. I have never deleted a wallet myself, always make a copy. I've got like 10 wallet.dat files that I always copy when I update my QT.
LOL So I am not the only one..... That is good news! I thought I was paranoid
