241  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Are you in favor of same sex marriage? on: July 08, 2017, 03:33:31 PM
It is unacceptable for me to have sex with a man of my gender and accept same-sex marriages. This destroys the perception of the world by young children. In addition, this spread of same-sex relationships will lead to the spread of various diseases. It is advantageous for people to destroy as many people as possible through the legalization of same-sex marriages.

But what about the children!?  Cheesy

As a child you were obviously taught aka brainwashed to be intolerant to people that are different from you.  And now you're worried about the next generation of children, in that they might be tolerant of other human beings, regardless of their sexual orientation?

Does anyone have experience with Jaxx?

I tried it while mining alt coins and it seemed like a really good platform.  It holds multiple cryptos (maybe a list of 20) and you keep the private keys to the account.

Are this other responders came from the Philippines? Their replies is a shit. Do you think Duterte alone can solve this alone? FUCK! What matters here is we feel the drug activity are being lessen. Take example in my place, in the past, almost everyday there is a shabu session alongside with other drugs. And after hitting their shit level, they will do @#!@#!. Fuck isn't it? When Duterte sits, all this activity gone and we can now walk freely at night any time without worrying a drug addict will wreck us.

Stop complaining if you are from other country. Where did you get your source? As if you know the real status here!

So anyone who is addicted to a drug deserves to die in the Philippines ? .... wow just wow......

Tobacco is a drug

Paracetamol is a drug

Ibuprofen is a drug

Alcohol is a drug

Ointments are drugs

This is one of the retarded and shittiest comments here which simplifies that this guy doesn't know anything and just do posting. I don't want to respond to an obvious thing. It's like answering 1+1 = 5.

It is a legitimate comment that you are dismissing by Gizzard.  Those are drugs.  Certain drugs are legal and other have been made illegal.  The legality has nothing to do with the health or safety of the citizens.  This isn't something that you need to live in the Philippines to understand.

You seem to have a very strong opinion on drugs.  Can you tell me which drugs kill the most people?  Are they legal and easily accessible?
Of course he meant illegal drugs not just the typical drug you use for easing pain, numbing, and other kinds of sickness. There is a reason of course why it has been banned one thing is for sure that the it is destroying the Philippines through its people who use them. The reply was in very good because I think he is just referring to the title of the topic.

Yet the legal drugs are the ones that kill the most people by far.  So assuming that this dude does really care about his country and its citizens, why focus on illegal drugs?  Tobacco and alcohol kill the overwhelming majority, with legal prescription drugs coming in 3rd place.  This may come as a surprise to most people, once you put aside the stigma and illusions associated with "dangerous" illegal drugs.  Tobacco kills the most people of any drug, and is highly addictive, yet no one gives half a shit about it being legal.  Then there are naturally occurring drugs like cannabis and psilocybin which have zero deaths and aren't addictive, and the misinformed idiots form a strong opinion to keep them illegal.
244  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: which is the best? Blockchain or Coinbase. on: July 08, 2017, 03:18:00 AM
Coinbase is shit now, a garbage wallet, if you notice then should know that site always down when pump or dump. May be over population or another reason. Blockchain good rather then Coinbase.

I agree with you about Coinbase.  They've gone down with no explanation several times, usually when there is market volatility (when you'd most want access to your cryptos).  That's unacceptable even for a bank.

There are lots of other alternatives for wallets other than these two, and they're free so try out different wallets and see what you like, that fits your needs.
245  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Renting a Rig. on: July 08, 2017, 02:35:16 AM
Was it a Bitcoin mining rig (ASIC) that you were looking to rent?

If your calculations are right, I don't think anyone would be looking to purchasing hashing power at that rate.  Eventually the rate should come down, as the rig would be sitting idle, unless it's working when not being rented.

247  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Drug free in the Philippines on: July 07, 2017, 11:17:17 PM
well i think he can as long as his gabinates is always in his side until his fight from drugs end , he should continue to pursue the drug lords with the help of his pnp chief bato dela rosa , the fight on drugs is still a way long to go ,but in my opinion it will end sooner or later ,
It will not end. The drug should begin not with repression, but with the construction of a developed economy. Of course there are addicts in all countries, but where people earn enough to find entertainment not associated with drugs they are much smaller.

Yeah it will never end, in the first six years of the presidential term, he can do that, but what happen if Mr. President's term ends, and the new president is different, sad to say but it can have a new generation of drug addicts,it can be happen. But im still hoping that Mr. President can stop that .

That is what I'm afraid of. That's why I'm saying that 6 years in not enough for President Duterte to stop the drug menace. And I hope that during his 6 years tenure, he can someone limit the proliferation in Philippines. And the next administration should continue what have he started. Well its still far though, Duterte has been in the office for 1 year and a lot can happen in the next years of his administration.

It doesn't matter how many terms he has.  If he doesn't know how to reduce the demand for recreational drugs to absolute zero, the demand will be satisfied.  The more strict you get with the laws, the higher the risk to sell drugs, and the higher the price.  This introduces huge profitability, and it will be enough to corrupt a self serving cop, at which point you have organized crime that can get around the law and it won't even matter.

That is why he is trying hard to really reduce the demand by going with the drug lords in the country. What he can't control is the outside source coming from China and other parts of the world. The Philippines is not the transshipment point of drugs in Asia. Like a said its gonna be difficult for the Administration to really stop but at least minimized the effect of drugs in the society. It can't be totally eradicated because their will be corruption along the police lines.  I'm still hoping for the best once his term has ended.

It doesn't matter how hard he tries, it will never work.  You don't think America already tried getting "tough on drugs"?  Nixon made drugs "public enemy number 1" around 1970.  All that happened during that time is the prisons became full of otherwise innocent people, police became corrupt, and liberties were stripped from the citizens.  You know what didn't happen?  A reduction in drug use.  It just allows more money to go to the mob through organized crime.  It's easier for teenagers to get their hands on it.  So now that it's almost 50 years past that point, Canada will be legalizing cannabis next year, and many of the states in America already have.  Portugal has decriminalized all drugs, which has been a success.  There's something to learn from the countries that have already tried this.  The Philippines is no different.
248  Economy / Economics / Re: About world crisis and criptocurrency on: July 07, 2017, 08:42:48 PM
Hello

what will happened with cripto currency if it was world crisis?
wha do yu think?

Historically, when there are times of uncertainty around the world, or in specific places in the world, or when the confidence in the national currency decreases, people flock to gold for safety.  With cryptocurrencies around nowadays, I'd think that any uncertainty or currency crisis would cause a huge influx of money into cryptos for safety to maintain wealth.
249  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you hate christians? on: July 07, 2017, 08:36:17 PM
No dude.

I'm not a subscriber of Christianity, but I don't hate on anyone that is a subscriber, unless it affects others negatively (ie. priests that fondle little kids).  Even then, it's just the individual.  There are good honest empathetic people and assholes in any religion.
250  Other / Politics & Society / Re: When will Religions die? on: July 07, 2017, 08:18:38 PM
Religions made a lot of damage to human beings and our world in general. I'm not talking only about Islam, but every kind of religion, more or less, caused lots of problems.

I'm sure they will end. They won't last forever. But how will they end?

Which could the scenario that leads to their disappearance?

I completely agree with you. All the religions which exist on earth are terriblly ruining and destroying all of the civilizations. I am sure that all of them will vanish in the future but not in near future. For me , scientific improvement will bring to light the reality of god's nonexistence. As a result of these , religions will be wiped off the face of the earth.

You underestimate the power of repetitively brainwashing a child with authority.  Logic and technological progression would suggest that we'd move on from a 2000 year old guess of the way things are or should be, but daily or weekly brainwashing for years is difficult to erase.  Extensive traveling or going on a psychedelic trip would do the job, but there are so few people that do either.
251  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best places in SE Asia to spend Bitcoin? on: July 07, 2017, 08:04:41 PM
I wanna make a short trip to a SE Asian country, and would love to spend Bitcoin in hotels, bars and shops etc.

My current choice of places is:

Hong Kong
Singapore
Malaysia
Thailand
Indonesia
Phillipines

Myanmar or Cambodia (I don't think I'll be able to spend many bitcoins in these two places)

It would be especially great if I could pay for the whole trip with Bitcoin, including flights/hotel/bar/restaurants...

Where would be the best place to go?

Are you going backpacking?

I've been to Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and Cambodia of the places you're looking to visit.  At the time Bitcoin wasn't prevalent, and I don't think it would be easy to do all your spending in Bitcoin even today.  You'll likely need to have local currencies, except in Cambodia.  They seem to be quite happy accepting US dollars.

If you're going backpacking, I'd recommend starting in Thailand.  It's the easiest way to transition into backpacking lifestyle, meet lots of other backpackers, and Thailand is very well setup for backpacking.  Most people speak English so there's little language barrier.

Enjoy your travels  Smiley
252  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we make more money? on: July 07, 2017, 06:13:41 PM
Doing a trade that can be very profitable must be based on a more mature knowledge so that from the trade we can manage it properly and correctly, We can apply the trade in the form of online and offline so that the benefits will be greater if we can do both things.

Trade can be very profitable if you have got the trading skills and knowledge to the ins and outs of cryptocurrency trading. This is not like your typical stock or forex trading because it is not quite regulated hence, you will expect that there will be some pump here and there - but knowing all of this, you can actually capitalize on that knowledge in order to have winning trades.

Yeah it's funny how many people reference trading cryptos as a good source of income.  Definitely not as easy as it sounds to consistently make profitable trades.  If that confidence is there, then I'd expect these folks to be quite wealthy, and likely not part of signature campaigns.  Cheesy
253  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Are you in favor of same sex marriage? on: July 07, 2017, 06:10:27 PM
The legalization of gay marriage is a huge mistake. The state itself provokes a confrontation between the natural and imposed values. If you do not pay attention to it we may be faced with pogroms. People may long wait from the government the right decisions, but then patience ran out and the crowd itself begins to administer justice, and it's scary.

Gay marriage may be a huge mistake for you, but that's only your opinion, and probably aligns with the religion you subscribe to.  But you nor the religion have authority on anyone else.  So in the same way that people that are either atheist or part of a different religion may think you're a fool, they allow you to have whatever belief you choose.  Why not show the same tolerance for people that you think are wrong or foolish?

You are still able to be straight, have a straight relationship, associate with only straight people I'm sure...so what is the harm to you if gay people get married?
254  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Afraid of August One? on: July 07, 2017, 03:40:34 PM
It's difficult to predict which way things will go on August 1st, but just due to some people reducing their exposure before the actual event, I'd expect the Bitcoin price to be a bit lower leading up to it.
255  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is taxation theft? on: July 07, 2017, 03:18:02 PM
No, I don't think its theft. Tax is use to develop roads, schools and other government project for  our convenience. It only become  theft when government officials get our tax to full their pockets.

It becomes theft when if you don't pay it, you will be treated with aggression until you do, or end up in prison.

Government employees do fill their pockets, they award contracts to their friends for kickbacks, they monopolize industries, etc.  Not all the time, but it definitely does happen often enough to know the government is not benevolent.  It's a group of people trying to keep a job.

257  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you Panic? on: July 06, 2017, 10:46:19 PM
I don't really panic much anymore.  I've witnessed the volatility long enough to understand that it happens repeatedly.

I was investing though during the 2008 financial crisis, and lost basically months of income at the time within a couple days.  That just sort of felt like a stomach ache lol.  Terrible experience, but a lesson to be learned.
258  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we make more money? on: July 06, 2017, 09:56:32 PM
bitcoin have lot of opportunity for business and earning. you can bitcoin buy sell group. other you can trade but if you want trade first you know  about all altcoin. you don't trade with all altcoin i say first find some that futute is good. its coin you can trade or hold.

You can have online businesses with fiat as well, as most online businesses are.  But with Bitcoin, I think it's a lot easier to appeal to a global marketplace, where no locations need to be restricted, and where smaller purchases are still possible and make sense.
259  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Drug free in the Philippines on: July 06, 2017, 07:00:26 PM
We can not say that it is totally drug free. Duterte's campaign on drugs is very impressive, it lowers the number of drug addicts, but he can not stop drugs just by killing them, there is another way.

Thousands of people, including the innocent bystanders have been killed so far. And I am surprised by the level of support this measure still have in the Philippines. Why the people are still supporting Duterte despite all the mayhem?

Because tens of thousands were killed, raped and violated through gangs ran by drug barons. Because hundreds of thousands of lives were destroyed through drugs misuse. Phillipinos then gave one man the mandate to fight the cancer with fire.

Why do you support drug lords and their private armies against the people of Phillipines? Why?

There are plenty of Phillipino members on this board. I hope they will educate you. You cant fight violent sociopaths with kind words. Not with paid thugs and corrupt cops standing behind them.

In supporting drugs remaining illegal, it is actually you that is supporting "drug lords" and organized crime.  Making anything illegal creates a black market including drugs.  If drugs weren't illegal, and you could pick them up in a pharmacy the same way you'd purchase advil, there would be minimal opportunity and minimal profitability in being a "drug lord".  In order for "drug lords" to maintain their power and revenue stream, they require the government to prohibit what they sell, otherwise the business model doesn't work.

Why not learn something from the countless failed attempts at prohibition in the past?
260  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Are you in favor of same sex marriage? on: July 06, 2017, 03:55:14 PM
Sure, why not.  If a few religious idiots get butthurt, even better.
I absolutely do not believe in God, but I am convinced that it is impossible to allow same-sex marriages. Even I'm against gay parades. To me this propaganda is not undone, but those people who are undecided and they can be saved such parades can push the wrong decision.

Why the gays want to take out parades to show around their depravity, when the heterosexuals have never tried to do the same? Sex is something which should be in private. It should not be paraded around half the town.

Heterosexual relationships have never been repressed and judged in this way, so it wouldn't make sense to have a parade or celebration for that.    No one in the parade is having sex, it's just a celebration where streets are closed off, there's some partying and some parades with people.

Palmerson...is a pride parade going to convince you to be gay?  If not, why do you think anyone will be convinced?  Then you can just have a straight parade and they will be straight again?   Cheesy
