241  Economy / Economics / Re: Financial Institution who control's the Market on: May 27, 2024, 11:10:57 PM
These are the whales causing so much short term crashes in Bitcoin price, although on long run it's possible they help making Bitcoin more valuable. Anyway, the idea os having those whales holding large amounts of Bitcoins never sounds good, because it means they have influence and power inside the market, making average investors who own just few coins their hostages in a sense. The ideal would be that each investor got introduced to crypto investments by themselves, being the owners of their own keys, instead of trusting it to an external fund managed by middlemen.

If each person had total control over their funds, the market would be less vulnerable to manipulation. What we see nowadays is a single entity managing funds of hundreds or thousands of investors at same time, what means they can converge this whole money to attend their own personal purposes. Crashes due to ETFs expiring is an example of that. In the end it helps those wealthy people getting more wealthy at the expense of average investors.
242  Economy / Speculation / Re: I believe Bitcoin will surge to new heights after this dip on: May 27, 2024, 10:33:58 PM
There is a lot of resistance going on at the current moment between 69,000$ and 70,000$. Bitcoin is stable around that price range, but isn't able to surpass the line yet to remain stable above 70,000$. It seems to be just a matter of time until we reach there, but it's still not possible to forecast when it's going to happen exactly. It's possible to have weeks or months of waiting until reaching the ideal scenario for this bull run. Many investors are full of expectations, but at same time many others are impatient and fearful of what is going to happen next.

Whales play with the sentiment of the market and manipulate the events on their own favour. Since we don't know what is going on the backgrounds of crypto market, there is nothing we can do besides waiting patiently for the right time which will inevitably comes at some point... In my opinion the market is too quiet for a bullish season. That is a signal things can change drastically in a very short period of time.
243  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Bitcoin Price is Down Today? on: May 27, 2024, 03:07:04 AM
I've been looking for answers for this question, but it seems nobody can give an accurate and satisfactory answer.

The only thing we can interpret is what the market is trying to tell us at the current moment. As I see, whales don't want to raise Bitcoin's price yet. They want impatient investors to put their coins for sale, so those whales can surprise everyone with a sudden pump over BTC price.

It's more or less like this: since everyone is expecting Bitcoin to pump, it's not going to happen. But as soon as people decrease their alert on this matter, then Bitcoin will start being pumped. And those who waited patiently will be rewarded.

I know it's quite frustrating to not find the answers we are looking for, and more yet to not know when Bitcoin is going to finally break the 70,000$'s line with stability, but there is nothing we can do about it. At least, not that I'm aware about.
244  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to maximize winning potential and control excessive gambling habits on: May 27, 2024, 01:40:49 AM
I think this is not even about been offended but the truth is that many gambling do not even follow things like risk management. They just go to betting shop or a casino and start betting thinking the luck would come and they would make money from gambling.
Yes, there are gamblers who don't apply any management or strategies to their gambling sessions. They just play randomly with their bankroll, sometimes placing small bets followed by huge bets or even using their entire bankrolls in a single bet. These are risky moves which shouldn't be executed at all, because the gambler is actually decreasing the potential winning of his bankroll by playing disorganized, without focus or objectives.

A gambling session which could last an hour or more ends lasting few minutes, as the gambler doesn't know how to manage his bankroll efficiently and smartly. After all, he doesn't make any profit and doesn't have any fun, because the experience was completely ephemeral, short lasting.

Each person is responsible for deciding what to do with their own money, that is undeniable, although advices can be useful for those people in order to show them another possibilities of how they could use their funds in more interesting and rewarding ways.
245  Economy / Economics / Re: First they ignore you: Are we (the Bitcoin/crypto users) about to win? on: May 27, 2024, 01:30:28 AM
If politicians want our vote, then we should insist that they have to commit to censorship resistance and cease all legal action against privacy tools.
People who are really concerned about censorship represent a very tiny percentage of the total voters. Therefore, it's not something politicians are going to take into consideration during their governments. Maybe only during the polls, because it's nice and admirable to shout about freedom and individual rights, but once they reach power positions the situation completely changes, because they don't have to be loyal anymore to the people who voted for them.

Rather, they start being loyal to those who can maintain them where they achieved reaching, that is, to be loyal to the judiciary system, businessmen and other politicians. All these people are in favour of censorship, because it's through this mechanism they maintain their positions intact too.

Live your life on your own and forget about political affairs. To find gaps on the rules and regulations they create it's the best thing we can do as average individuals who have nothing to do with those mafias and oligarchies. That is what I see as living worthily nowadays.

You aren't going to change the world, just make sure the world doesn't change you and you will be already a winner!
246  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do some people hide to gamble on: May 27, 2024, 01:13:12 AM
As you said that it does not matter even if we are responsible gamblers, the stigma of society will still be difficult to avoid when it knows this information, which is usually when people find out that you are involved in gambling then usually they will avoid you, the first reason is most likely they don't want you to borrow money from them (even if you don't have the intention to borrow money) and secondly because they don't want to be affected by the bad effects of gambling that you do.
Depending the society and culture the individual is inserted, it's possible people will start acting like that towards him due to an public information on his social media claiming he has been involved in gambling practice. It can be harmful for his social network and even his professional career, since people will tend to see him with distrust from that moment on, stereotyping this person as an impulsive, unresponsible one who can't be trusted, especially on financial matters.

And doesn't matter how old the post is, people will still dig his profile for old data and informations, and if they find something related to gambling there from 10 years ago, they will still look to him in a very suspicious manner in the present time. It's like a stigma the person has to carry for his whole life once discovered by the society. The worst aspect of it in my opinion are the effects over the professional life of the person, because it can compromise his capacity of remaining in a job spot or being promoted there to a better function, and consequently freezing his career on long term, due to being negatively reviewed by a boss or supervisor.
247  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did gambling losses are traps to new game on: May 27, 2024, 12:54:45 AM
Usually, when you lose, it's emotional and you want to get back what you lost, but that only puts you in a worse situation. Sometimes it is best to stop when you lose, but when you don't know how to stop, you start taking loans left and right.
I believe gamblers keep playing after they lose money, because they think it was just a streak of bad luck they had, so they start a new game hoping to be luckier this time. However, they just ignore the house edge impact over their gambling results on long run. They see this as solely about being lucky or unlucky, although in fact we know it's not only about luck, but also mathematics, as the house has a slight advantage of 1%-2% on every games, which inevitably makes gamblers lose money the more they play.

Some may consider it a trap, and that is understood, but at same time we can't deny it's public information, so every gamblers could be aware about it if they read the mechanics of the casinos before depositing and playing.
248  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Marriage: Character or Beauty? on: May 26, 2024, 07:29:43 PM
I would like things were simple as falling in love with someone just taking their character into consideration. But how can you be married to someone you don't feel physically attracted to? For me it doesn't make any sense, and I prefer to remain alone forever than staying by the side of someone I don't feel attracted to. Character can make good and beautiful friendships, but not genuine and rewarding romances.

I don't want to judge anyone here, but for me, I would be lying to myself if I married a woman who I didn't feel physically connected to. And I would hate to live that way, lying to myself and deluding the person by my side. Better to suffer alone than making another person suffer due to indifference and fake feelings.

There isn't much to do after all... These things are out of our control and the more you search, less likely it seems to be you will find...
249  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't invest in Bitcoin because others are investing in Bitcoin on: May 26, 2024, 06:49:46 PM
I prefer taking my time to make a research before I invest on Bitcoin
That is a good idea. Before starting an investment you have to know exactly what you are going to do and how you should do it in order to protect your money from potential unecessary risks and mistakes you can commit during the process. Most newbies don't know how to acquire Bitcoin and how to store their coins safely after acquiring it. So they get vulnerable to scammers and third party platforms which can disappear at anytime with their money when they decide to store it there, instead of a hardware wallet.

Moreover, you also have to do your research on how this market works. It's not a traditional market. Things here are much more volatile and there aren't central authorities controlling prices, so it's possible to see your investment rising 50% in a single day, but also falling on the same proportion. Newbies get desperated when it happens to them, and end selling their holdings before the right time, because there weren't prepared for this scenario.

All these informations are important to be absorbed by every investors before they start their Bitcoin investments.
250  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the limits and common sense of bet? on: May 26, 2024, 06:26:00 PM
I don't think people should take every bets too seriously. Sometime friends are just kidding with each other and say absurd things like "I bet my wage if you are successful doing something challenging". So the other friend does the challenge, but not exactly to win the bet, but just to prove he can do that. In these cases I don't think the individual has to pay the bet, because it's something absurd that should be noticed by everyone present since the beginning.

There aren't any obligations which will force the person to pay the bet in this case. And in situations where third people are involved, it's even more serious, like in the two examples mentioned by OP, being the second example a crime, since it involved sexual abuse of the women of the addicted gambler who lost the bet. That woman could have reported the men who abused her and even her husband to the authorities. That is a very disgusting situation for every parts involved, which have indeed gone too far the acceptable limits of a fair and healthy bet.
251  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Trump's big promises on: May 26, 2024, 06:14:00 PM
My question is.... Does he really care that much that much and can he be able to fulfill all that social and media promises he is been speculating?
Well, we can't access the depths of his inner-being to know with assurance how much he really cares about what he promises and defends, but if I could make I guess, I would say he doesn't care at all, since it's all about saying what he has to say to conquer what he desires to conquer. We live in the era of moral relativism, which is dominated by sophists. For these people truth doesn't matter, rather what matters is to convince people anything can be true, depending what is more interesting to them on the present moment.

Politicians act lead by this guideline. What is true for him today, might not be tomorrow anymore.

Moreover, of course he isn't going to fulfill these promises he is sharing on social medias right now, because it doesn't depend fully on one individual to become reality. There is a legislative house approving and disapproving laws and regulations. There is a judiciary system which exercises high influence over the other levels of power (legislative and executive). There is a media enforcing its agendas as well.

Lots of personal interests are involved on the process of ruling a country, and all these interests are infected by moral relativism, where each individual wants his necessities supplied, without caring at all about others who are around. Therefore you can be assured that a politican making such promises is very naive or is very elusive and manipulative. As we know Trump isn't naive in anyways, I guess he must belong to the second category then...
252  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lunatic gamblers who says Airdrop rewards are free funds. on: May 26, 2024, 06:01:27 PM
Most of us think that is how it works. With little work/effort, with also small rewards.
Joining airdrops just serves as a part-time job for others, so they don't bother to complain about it.
Well, I remember when faucets were also a task demanding little work and effort in order to be claimed, besides rewards being small. It was possible to make less than 1 dollar daily by spending few hours. Some people had that kind of mindset and end using the faucets' income at casinos in order to increase their earnings, just to make it more worthful. And in case they didn't have positive results, they wouldn't bother at all, since it was just few cents of dollar.

However, those cents of dollar worth right now some dozens of dollar currency. If they had just saved it into a safe wallet, the returns would have been much more consistent and guaranteed by now. Maybe the same is valid for the current workers doing airdrops' tasks in some years from now, although they should immediately convert their earnings to BTC thinking on long term goals. For a young person I think this is the best advice, because the tendency is that he will have time in the future to use the profit he will make from the investments made on the present time.
253  Other / Off-topic / Re: Does addicted gamblers only lose money all the time on: May 26, 2024, 05:49:13 PM
We keep talking about gambling addiction and how bad it is to become addicted, does it mean that addicted gamblers lose money all the time? Do you means those guys doesn't win anything at all? Can they not be lucky to win jackpots?
Yes, they can be quite lucky, and I have already seen them losing big money many times on gambling sessions through videos posted on Youtube. The problem is that they never stop playing, even when they make considerable sums of money, so it's just a matter of time until they end losing everything once again. On long run, the losses accumulated end becoming unrecoverable, despite them winning some jackpots between the losses.

Some lucky gamblers even achieve chasing losses and recovering all their money, reaching profit once again. If they were smart to stop playing on that time, they could quit in profit and put the money into good use, however, they get greedy (due to being addicted) and continue playing until entering a new wave of losses, which they try chasing again. However, the more they reach this stage, less likely it's going to be that they achieve chasing losses successfuly, because they are reaching closer to the long term, that is where the casino has the advantage due to the house edge factor.

These gamblers also make some money back from rakeback feature, although it's pretty possible they also use it to continue gambling until the last penny is gone...
254  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe in match fixing? on: May 26, 2024, 05:37:32 PM
With the popularity of sports betting increasing inside the soccer industry, it was just a matter of time until we would start seeing the incidency of match fixing events also raising proportionally. Where people can't earn money legitimately, they will start creating mechanisms to earn it in shady ways. Then we have lots of cheaters also getting associated to soccer players in order to make guaranteed profit from the bets they place on a match's events.

I guess it's not a matter of believing matching fixing or not anymore. It's an undeniable fact which is happening in front of everyone's eyes. And this practice is totally compromising the legitimacy of soccer industry even on its highest levels, such as Serie A from different countries and leagues. Severe actions have to be taken against the individuals involved on this practice, in order to maintain the relevance of soccer for the world, otherwise people are going to lose the interest for the sport, not cheering anymore for any clubs, besides the gambling industry also being negatively impacted, since nobody will desire to bet anymore due to the lack of trust on legitimacy of games' results.

Casino bankroll investment has already returned 20%-50% profit yearly to investors in the past at Crypto-Games.com, so I guess the 4%-5% APY margin offered by freebitco.in is pretty conservative considering this category of investment. For those who don't know, part of the money we deposit in freebitco.in to earn daily interest is used by the platform to fund their gambling bankroll.

- I quote this for reflexion. Just in case.
Feel free to share your reflexion with more accuracy and details regards this matter any time you wish.
256  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Day streaming as gambler experience on: May 25, 2024, 10:27:23 PM
What I meant was whether gambling streams could negatively impact my future, image, and chances of getting opportunities in other industries. Given that in some countries or religions gambling is considered a sin or even illegal, could it reduce my chances in those contexts?
As long as you don't deceive your audience and don't promote gambling in an erroneous way, I think you shouldn't fear any consequences of this job you are doing. Of course there will be always people seeing you in a bad manner because you are involved with gambling, and by their personal understanding, it can be a sin accordingly to their religions or they can take it personally in case they have an addicted relative or a traumatic story of gambling addiction on their family which impacted them deeply.

I just think you should promote responsible gambling. Never tell your public it's extra income source, investment or a method to get rich quickly. If you have underage people watching your streams, you have to be even more careful and responsible on your words. I have already seen both kinds of gambling promoters: the ethical ones, and the unethical ones. And the first group has never fallen down on the judgement of the public in general, because they are promoting gambling in a fair way.

There will be different contact points at different levels. Sometimes communication among contact points will be delayed by personal issues likely health or anything.

I don't consider a long lasting and trusted platform like Freebitco.in is a scam only because they were inactively recently in response to some scam accusations or problems on their platform.

If a business team is scam, you lose money and no matter how noisy you are making, you will still lose money.

If they are legit, they will response and handle your case. Honestly most cases, people will not feel happy even their issues are resolved with some delays.

Stay tuned for their response is best.
It's not a professional behavior to ignore users' requests and long lasting issues for periods of time which go beyond months of waiting. How can you trust when you don't know how long you are going to have to wait for a reply or even if you are going to be replied after all by the service in question?

To stay tuned is the only thing these people can do for now, unfortunatelly. That is really not a reason to feel happy. If it were me on their shoes, I would be so mad like them or even more.

If freebitco.in can't maintain the service quality is has provided for more than 10 years, they should come publicly and explain what is going on to their loyal base of users in a very transparent and fair manner, so other people can avoid passing through similar issues current users have been facing recently.
258  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Passively earning in crypto without trading. on: May 25, 2024, 09:51:01 PM
Making passive income in crypto is always a risky deal, because in order to do so you have to trust your coins to a third party platform. We have already seen cases of investors who were scammed by the platform's owners when adopting lending platforms as means to make passive extra income in crypto. Others who lend money through P2P concept were also scammed, even by reputable members in this forum, so it's never an assured deal.

I really like the concept, but nowadays I'm quite fearful and uncertain about it, so I think the best alternative is to just keep your holdings inside a cold wallet waiting for market's increasements in price. Especially during bullish markets and the migration from the bull to the bear market you have to be careful with your funds kept at third party platforms, because that is when most scams happen, motivated by greed and lack of planning over customers' funds.
259  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why Lotto Winner Takes Time To Claim Their Rewards, What's The Point? on: May 25, 2024, 09:35:51 PM
Do you think it's a good idea to claim your winnings a day after hitting the jackpot or wait a few weeks?

How about you? When do you think is the right time to claim your winnings?
I see no reason to delay claiming a lottery prize. In my opinion it's a waste of time, because you could be already using your prize somehow if you claimed it as soon as possible. Lottery winners who wait for weeks or months to receive their prizes are probably not aware they won yet, because it's usual to play lottery tickets and forget about them, due to the winning chances being too low. When people around me play the lottery they put the ticket receipt over the table or any other place where the tickets are constantly under sight, so we never forget about checking the results once the draw is done.

Those delayed winners, on the other hand, probably forget their ticket receipts on drawers or even drop them on the garbage, so they tend to forget easily about the lottery played, taking them a long time to remember to check the results. I think that is why the lottery gives so much time like a whole year time period for gamblers to claim their prizes. At least on this aspect, it's very fair and respectful from their part.
260  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling mistake repeated by the gamblers on: May 25, 2024, 08:58:21 PM
Greed will make you looser therefore most of the people are not thankful for what they have and struggle to make more money and in so many cases greedy people get excited  after a big win so they utilize that big in gambling to make double of this sum but all remain useless after a single loss.

Those who are always thankful for their earned money will not be trapped into the wrong decision and they often stop to gamble when they win a good amount and such people skip their greed in order to be successful in future and enjoy the already earned sum.
Greed works as a bitter lesson for those who aren't thankful for what they have already earned and for those who are immediatist. That is the concept of achieving a whole life's prosperity in a single day. Greedy people think everything has to be conquered instantly, and the more they get, more they want in faster and faster dosages. It's hard to make these people change their minds just with words and advices. It really seems they have to lose in order to understand what life is about and how it works for real.

It's not wrong to pursue prosperity and a progressive line of achievements in life. However, it has to be done responsively step by step, understanding time is also a very important factor on this journey which can't be neglected or cheated.
