241  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Chat GTP destroy poker on-line gambling??? on: May 16, 2023, 02:35:20 PM
Despite how good the media was in making a concept or innovative idea known to the world the drawback of it is the spread of FUD news and the latest news I hate lately is how people ridiculously hype ChatGPT like it's the solution to every technical and non-technical activity.
Yes, there could be an AI that can be trained to end human online poker games but it's not developed and there's no way it will be developed since the government is planning to regulate the AI space.
Why would the government want to regulate AI developments and what would they get by doing that? Are they willing to read the prompts of people and see what they ask the models or do they want to see for what purpose the people will use the AI developments? Governments sometimes totally do not understand what they really want.

They obviously don't want to let people have any sort of power or ability to do things easily and want things to stay tough for the general public, that is what they do with cryptocurrencies as well, regulate or ban them so that people keep suffering due to their operating traditional financial institutions.
242  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Big is the online gambling industry today? on: May 16, 2023, 09:35:51 AM
Even with the licenses, rules and regulations, crypto currency casinos should still be accessible to every one in every country because, as of now, no country in particular have come up with a full crypto currency regulation, and until this happens, casino are free to accept crypto deposits and withdrawals from any country.

It is when a country come out with its crypto regulations laws and rules, which is not acceptable to the casino, then they can start declining crypto deposits and withdrawal, infact, stop gamblers from such country from using their casino, most especially, if they wil he depositing and withdrawing in crypto.
It is not only about accessibility, even if some casinos are accessible to anyone from any country in the world, they don't allow them since they ask for KYC and someone from a restricted country cannot comply with the KYC and AML regulations and hence they will eventually lock or limit their accounts and don't allow deposits and withdrawals for them.

So even if a casino is allowing you to access the games or features it is providing, it doesn't necessarily mean that you are also allowed to make deposits and withdrawals, especially if you are going use a significantly high amount.
243  Economy / Speculation / Re: When to buy one time off bitcoin. on: May 16, 2023, 06:21:23 AM
I think the best strategy is to buy gradually,
Not forever, I mean it really depends on market conditions. If in 1 day you see bitcoin down 10%, then buy as much as you want and it's still fine if you buy with your whole budget. Such a decline is just a response of traders to panic, but rest assured the price will recover after some time when many investors enter and buy low.

Buying in increments or maybe DCA is good, but only if you believe that prices are likely to drop lower than your first purchase price. There are times when you buy with DCA and there are times when you buy with a lump sum, so get to know those well instead of relying on just one buying strategy.
What if the price drops 5% more after you have bought with all your budget at once? You won't be able to buy more and you will obviously regret buying all at once as you could get some at a lower price if you were a bit patient but since no one can stay patient in such situations, that's why doing DCA is the best way to go within such times.

When you do DCA, you leave no room for regret since you will be buying some at every price interval, and by the end of the dip or when your budget has been exhausted, you will have a pretty good buying average already.
244  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: May 15, 2023, 09:22:43 AM
The bookies seem quite confident that Manchester City will qualify for the final and also that they will win the title. If they win the final, they are indeed a heavy favorite against probably Inter Milan. But Inter Milan, where should we put them at the moment? They are in a good flow and have played the entire Italian top in the last games of the field. I would rather see a final between Real Madrid and Inter Milan, but I really wish Guardiola his first title with City. Many football experts say that City - Madrid is a 50-50 match.
Most of the time Bookies hype things for their own sack so in this case also happen with as most of the pundits are still feeling both teams having equal chance for the qualifying into final bookies are trying to cover their loses as well because right now as Manchester City is performing most chances they will win and also have title into their pocket as well with double is surely going to be amazing for the Guardiola and his team.

But, Real Madrid is also having history of unpredictable results as many times they shattered hearts of many peoples for their own wins so can they do this again it's big question mark right now but most chances we will have Manchester City vs Inter into final for this season.
245  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC 100K FOR 2024 ! on: May 14, 2023, 08:59:22 PM
I think it is very possible that the Bitcoin price will reach $100k. If you look at the movement of bitcoin prices throughout 2021, when at that time the price of bitcoin rose to 123% and the price of bitcoin reached more than $60k which is a new ATH, then it is possible that later the price of bitcoin will reach $100k as many experts have long predicted.
Predictions don't have the power the push the price up or drag it down, it's all about the flow of the money that the market reacts to, if there is buying pressure and a lot of adoption which means more investments, the price will keep going up, but if there is more selling than buying then that doesn't make the price keep going forward.

The mainstream events that occur in any part of the world that are directly or indirectly related to cryptocurrencies can also have an effect on the market but only if people react to them and act upon them causing FUD or other market sentiments.
246  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: May 13, 2023, 05:56:05 PM
I never ever thought that Rashid Khan can also bat, I never expected him to bat so agressively. It might be because of money or it might be because he loves to play in IPL.

SKY was in his best and we know he is the best batter across the globe in T20 format. What he did yesterday was what he is expected after his incredible performance in T20WC.

As a fan of cricket I think the player of the match should have gone to Rashid Khan as not only he bowled well, he also batted exceptionally good yesterday.
Rashid Khan is having good skills in batting and many times done things like this but this time he plays amazing with no one was expecting this from him in this match which was already ended for the GT because of early top order failure.

SKY is surely currently one of the best person in T20i with his amazing skills and now suddenly he is on fire for the MI which was having bad start of this season now back at the top of league table and have good chance for the play-offs but need to work on bowling.

I don't think he deserves for the Man of the Match because match was already ended, and his effort was not enough for the having any chance for the GT but if we have 5 to 10 runs lost then surely we can expect this reward for him but in current conditions I am agreed about SKY.
247  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What kind of rewards/bonuses do you prefer? on: May 13, 2023, 04:51:20 PM
I personally prefer competitions over rewards and bonuses to be fair. When there is a fair competition, that is as good as it gets for me. Not wagering competition, that is always won by some rich person who wagered a lot, that makes no sense. But, a wagering competition with tickets suddenly becomes a lot better and I think that will make it a lot better for everyone involved.

I think we need to keep reminding ourselves that if you focus on just like 500 satoshi per ticket type of deal, so when people wager 500 satoshi, they get a ticket, if you are a whale you will have a lot of tickets and if you are a regular person like me you will have few tickets but even a single ticket has a chance to win so a rich person may win or a poor person may win.
That is just like a lottery where someone who has more tickets has a higher probability of winning the prize while someone with a few tickets almost gets a winning probability of less than 1% which again gives an edge to whales and high rollers and small and mid-level gamblers will have absolutely no chance of winning a prize in such a competition.

The best bonus or reward would be a certain percentage of cashback given to almost every single player that has wagered any amount in a week or a month, this way, even the smallest gamblers will get something to cheer about from the platform they use.
248  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The psychology of betting..... on: May 13, 2023, 03:24:05 PM
We can play as much as we want, as long as our own limits are respected, that is, we have a capital set up to lose, because it is what we have destined to play, that capital cannot be regretted if it is lost in the game , because it is known that it was destined for that, if we are clear about those things or those premises we can play with complete confidence and as we wish, but if the money is lost in its entirety, it must be respected in not Playing anymore, because if it is appealed to that Money is going to be taken that is destined for our daily expenses, be it for food, the market, for the family, it is what should never be done, basically it is to play responsibly.
Only a person who is responsible regarding everything in their life can have such discipline in gambling, it is because they are already in practice of keeping things disciplined especially when it comes to spending money. If you are a family person, you can easily manage such things since you know you have other responsibilities as well.

For someone who is not generally responsible in their life, has no responsibilities or things to handle, and has access to money, it becomes very difficult for them to have a dedicated budget for gambling and keep it disciplined.
249  Economy / Economics / Re: Money as a store of value... on: May 13, 2023, 11:34:10 AM
Since money is accepted as a store of value, trade is much more efficient. When an individual or business accepts money in exchange for a goods and services, the seller can store the money in a bank account and retrieve it later in the future.

This ability to store value over time is one of the critical functions of money in an economy.
Money surely can serve as a store of value but it is not always going to maintain its worth in the long run, since some currencies lose value when there is an economic crisis within a region, so it will surely do the work of storing the value but it might not be able to maintain that value and your wealth is likely to lose value over time.

I believe assets like gold and silver and cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin can provide better opportunities for transferring buying power from present to future since they will maintain or even increase the value of your money over time.
250  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Chat GTP destroy poker on-line gambling??? on: May 13, 2023, 09:48:03 AM
To study and predict in-game behaviors yes. But we all know that poker isn’t just about bluffing and folding or calling people out of their bluffs. It’s part of the game but that isn’t what necessarily wins it. It’s still having great cards and a better setup. With all these parameters to be predicted and detected over a large sample size I think ChatGPT will have a hard time being a reliable source of predictive information, especially in games like poker. With that being said it’s still possible, especially in future iterations of the AI LLM, but as it stands today even with GPT-4 levels I’d say it wouldn’t be up for this herculean task just considering the sample size it needs to derive usable data from. Not to mention the countless games as well as possible combinations, along with correlation to specific player behavior.
It is not possible for an AI model to even predict or detect the in-game behaviors of humans, calculating and determining the hand combinations is a very big thing for it, it is simply possible for it to keep a count of all the hands and combinations that can be made by someone and for it to detect which player has what kind of a hand.

We have not yet reached that far in technological advancements that an AI we have created should beat us in a game where only a human can be an expert because it involves reading in-game behaviors more than cards, etc.
251  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I am only trying to stay safe by gambling less on: May 12, 2023, 08:31:46 PM
Buying and selling altcoins is basically gambling, and you end up paying lots in fees that are basically part of the thing. The people running those altcoins end up with most of the money of the gamblers.

It's the same thing over and over, casinos, altcoins, etc. The promise of easy money but in reality they take your money. It's only easy money for the casinos and whoever created the altcoins.
Casinos don't promise you easy money or any money at all, casinos themselves warn the gamblers and say that they should only gamble the money they afford to lose and it's the consent of the gamblers that they gamble their money in a casino and hope to get a lot of money in return which is not what gambling is for.

You can have some fun, spend some money by spinning some slots or play a hand or two at a Poker table, but don't expect that you are going to get money out of it, if you get something, consider it a bonus for the time and money you've spent.
252  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: May 12, 2023, 07:44:50 PM
WTF final is a one-off match, but for sure the Indian selectors can do some experimentation with selection for the remaining 4 matches.
They will surely make some changes in the squad and we might witness new names in the rank, especially for the Windies tour as it's considered an easy tour.

After this maybe new guys can make their cases for the SA tour, which is a tough tour for India and winning there still remains a pipe dream for the Indian team.
Now it's time for Indian selectors to do some experiments after WTC Final pick youngsters for the tour of West Indies because they have enough players for giving them chances Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and few others are reaching to end their careers so giving chances to youths in not bad idea which will give them confidence and experience as well in red ball format which is also looking for better intention from them.

SENA tours are never been easy so going with mostly experienced players are good idea but keeping youths for other tours surely good change with quality and performance will be increased, and we will be able to do things with better way in future as well.
253  Economy / Gambling / Re: Looking for the best tipsters in the world on: May 12, 2023, 07:14:11 PM
Op's request made me fall out of my chair. 80% and 90% winrates? Hilarious. The best tipsters in the world usually have winrates in the range of 55% - 65% which makes sense considering everything.

Anyone claiming higher winrates are lying or the sample size covered is pretty small. Improve your brainpower op!
The more experience one has, the less their win rate will be since one cannot have too much consistency in the long run and will surely have to face defeats as well along the way. You might be able to have a win rate of about 80 - 90% in the short run but as your bets start increasing, your win rate will start dropping somehow.

So looking for a person who would provide tips and has a win rate of 80 to 90% is nothing more than a dream, so it's better if a person tries to do their best themselves instead of looking for such numbers.
254  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Pepe The Frog (PepeBNB) made 644% in 2 days and keeps growing on: May 11, 2023, 08:30:43 PM
Unless I am looking at the wrong token with the exact same name, it looks like the dev rugged the entire project. If you bought on April 20 when the OP made this post you could of maybe made 50% gains but if you held you would be at -99%. Hence this is proof these are extremely risky.

With the success of PEPE and the ease of making these tokens, there is going to be many rugging going on. All over Twitter they are spamming different tokens and people are buying these tokens thinking they will buy another PEPE where $100 turns into $10M but that is obviously not the case. Most will end up with huge losses.
How right you are. Now a lot of scammers are trying to repeat Pepe's success and are trying to use various tools. In recent days, there have been a lot of fake offers on twitter and I see that the posts collect thousands of reposts because users do not even realize that they are participating in a potential scam.
Every meme coin is a potential scam in my opinion since you never know when the hype gets over and the price drops over 90% in no time, that is when you realize how big of a mistake you've made by investing in the project after the hype and everything because the value of these tokens only stay until they are hyped.

People give opportunities to more and more useless tokens by Tweeting and retweeting them and starting hypes only to provide their creators with the money they need so that they can rugpull and leave anytime they want.
255  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for May on: May 11, 2023, 08:10:33 PM
After experiencing a few green months in a row we can expect a red one sooner or later. Perhaps May will be the red one, but it feels like this bear market is lasting forever so if we get another green one then i'd certainly be happy. So far, it's not looking too good! but inflation data is better than expected i think we might see some signs of life
Whether this month will be a green or a red on the charts, we will know after about 25 days are passed and we are not even halfway yet, so anything can happen. Though the price doesn't look very strong, it is still holding the current position, and if it continues to hold on much longer, we might see some upside movement pretty soon.

But if it goes the other way around and dips even more, that dip will take the price below $25k with the support of panic sellers who are already starting to get worried as the price hasn't been moving at all for several days by now.
256  Economy / Gambling / Re: Limited in every bookmaker on: May 11, 2023, 12:50:19 PM
Are restrictions set if the player is in a big plus?
That barely happens, a reputable casino would never restrict or limit a player only because they have won some bets unless they suspect that the gambler is cheating in some way which is probably against the terms and conditions of the platform and cheating is breaking the rules of almost every single platform which is why one might get limited everywhere if found guilty of doing that.

You can barely find a casino that limits their players for winning, and if a casino does that, it will probably be a casino that is new and doesn't have any reputation or trust within the community, otherwise, a good platform wouldn't risk compromising their reputation for a few thousand bucks.
257  Economy / Gambling / Re: Which are best stake alternatives on: May 11, 2023, 09:30:41 AM
Stake is a good casino but we have other alternative and you can search for them on the forum. Coinslotty is one of my favorites and that's not because I'm promoting it. It has no negative rating from its customer and they're active on the forum.
We are still far from being a "stake alternative" but thank you for the kind words Cheesy
Maybe you do not know the meaning of alternative. Alternative in that context means any other gambling platform to be an alternative to Stake. Like Flush.com, when it comes to casinos, they are alternatives. Although Stake provides betting for sport matches too. But as casino is concerned, Flush is a good alternative.
It's actually you who isn't getting the meaning of alternative, an alternative doesn't simply mean that it is from the same category, but it should also offer the same things or features that the first service or platform offers, for example, OP is looking for an alternative to Stake for original games, so in this context, a casino that has original games will be an alternative to Stakes for the OP.

We should always first understand the context of the thread and the reason why someone is writing something before opposing it. You clearly didn't understand the whole context here and replied which isn't good Smiley.
258  Economy / Gambling / Re: $100 to $2519 on Strikebits.com today! on: May 11, 2023, 06:16:50 AM
OP hasn't been active for more than 2 weeks, we might even think that it's something normal, we might think that OP just came to make this thread to talk about the experience he had in this Strikebits.com casino which is a very strange casino and that doesn't have any reviews popular sites, at least I didn't find anything on google about this casino, but when you look at OP's post history one will be shocked, that's because since OP created account on April 16th, he just made 'post in this thread, what it clearly shows that OP's intention is to promote this casino, we have no way of proving that the casino is his, but based on the fact that he only created an account on this forum, he made this thread talking well about this casino so we can assume that this casino belongs to the OP

so we asked ourselves: if a casino doesn't have good marketing strategy and uses these very strange methods then how would the casino pay people when they win? soon we see that the casino has no intention of operating for the long term, they just want someone to deposit a lot of money in the casino and then they will disappear or else if they don't have someone who makes a big deposit they will expect to have people who make deposits of slightly larger amounts and as soon as they see that they have already managed to accumulate a large amount of money they will disappear
About him owning the casino, I doubt it, but it's for sure that the platform used a very cheap tactic for promoting itself. They could spend some money, hire a professional from this forum and made them create an official ANN thread for the casino, that would have been way better than this, and people would even see them not as a scam.

But, since they chose this, it probably gives the impression that they are nothing more than a scam casino that cannot even afford to do proper marketing of their service or platform and use cheap methods to advertise themselves.
259  Economy / Economics / Re: BTC Silver and Gold on: May 10, 2023, 08:52:09 AM
Did you not think that one day bitcoin will also reach the same level as gold and in order to get a profit from investing in bitcoin it will also take a very long time before we see growth, and the choice of the right time to invest too will play an important role? I do not yet know of any type of asset that could show a very large increase in price over the constant time of its existence.
What do you mean by same level? This is not an apple to apple comparison. How can you compare a digital asset, with a physical asset? The only accurate correlation that can be made is by comparing the market cap of these two assets. But even then, the market cap for gold is difficult to calculate. Huge quantities of gold is present in earth's crust, that is of low quality and therefore having little economic sense in extracting. On the other hand, we know the market cap of Bitcoin, since it is minted as per the principle of controlled supply.
Maybe he's referring to the adoption and stability level of gold? But gold isn't stable at all, it might not be as volatile as Bitcoin but it surely is, so technically, it doesn't take as long for Bitcoin to generate profits as it takes gold since it grows gradually. The only big difference between the growth of these two is gold's price doesn't crash as much as Bitcoin's.

So someone who invests in Bitcoin might see their money going down for a while and then going up again later on, while if you are invested in gold, you will simply see a gradual growth which might be slow but is authentic.
260  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you stay updated on: May 09, 2023, 08:38:44 PM
You can stay updated still by, joining groups or associations who share similar knowledge. As in this case, joining groups where they discuss this topics of boxing and gambling would help a bettor know how to bet, to know the tricks involved and to be as sure for the next gambling games.
It is also as easy as turning on the notification settings on your device after registering on a site with the information you sourced from or need.
It is also a step further by following these news outlets on social media know you as a fan so that they can hint you of new updates.
What you said can be used as a way to get new and latest updates about a specific sport, team, or player, and one can get all new updates regarding a game or an injury, or any other event that might affect an upcoming match, but that wouldn't really help someone if they are willing to learn about a sport that they don't understand much.

Someone who is new to a sport will need to go a step further and do some research and reading about that specific sport and the news and updates that he reads should be about the events that happened in the past. One will also need to watch previous matches to have an idea of how a game works and how different teams play.
