241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Blacknet | IBO for BlackCoin | New code | PoS | No ICO on: December 10, 2018, 11:56:04 AM
People don't seem so eager to burn their BLK for an unknown token..
only 13m out of 64m burned - https://ibo.laboratorium.ee   Roll Eyes

I think 13/64m is a considerable amount to burn into a project that still has to earn it's merits. A lot is unknown and we will have to see if this will have proven to be a good decision or not.
242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Blackcoin Lore [BLK] | Home of PoS 3.0 | No ICO | No Pre-mine on: December 10, 2018, 11:51:59 AM
So it looks like Blackcoin is currently abandoned by everyone and is being transformed to Blacknet by rat4 ? is that correct ?

everything looks like this. but so far, everything doesnt look good for fans of the project. the market is falling and such a project is gradually being left by the developers.

I think it is more a case of everyone is holding their breath, waiting to see what is going to happen ...
According to messages in the Blacknet thread ... (namely this one )  only only 13m out of 64m has transitioned into the new coin/chain ... soooo  20% ?

I think 20% is a pretty reasonable amount to burn into a project that is still relatively unknown as to what it will entail and how fast it will develop, gain traction etc.
243  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: | STRATIS | The first blockchain developed for businesses |Full POS on: December 09, 2018, 02:30:53 PM
Has there been any more chatter about further MasterNode tiers? Maybe in one of the chat channels? It's not on the roadmap but I was wondering if this plan is still in the works? Is there also a closer ETA to Stratis Cold Staking?

My proofs in future.

Dev, please explain to me (and many others):

1. Where could appear the address specified in the picture (?), if it is not in my wallet (and never was), however, coins from my mining, go for it?
2. Why this address(I repeat, it is not in the list of receive addresses) and its coins are displayed in my wallet?

245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] FuzeX Card - Spend your cryptocurrency anytime, anywhere! on: December 09, 2018, 01:52:11 PM
It is becoming obvious they had no plan and no preparation from start. If you are following them from start can recall these decisions they took in all previous months. Those proved them without any professional approach whereas business should be based on market needs not on personal choices. I also agree there will be no card as Bcash which is their base currency is facing survival issues.

I agree, they really seemed to portray a picture that they had working cards already, with some bigger names in crypto promoting these cards. Not sure if Bcash really matters in the whole grand scheme of things, plenty of other (base)currencies that could be used.
246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][GNT] Golem Project - The world’s most powerful supercomputer on: December 09, 2018, 01:48:06 PM
As a system developer, I was very pleased with your project and your conditions. Your service is really cheaper than opening your own server. But in my opinion this project is simple. Why is there still no finished product?

These advanced solutions and new ways of interacting with computing power take time to develop. You can keep up to date and follow their progress by checking in on their blog:

247  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Blacknet | IBO for BlackCoin | New code | PoS | No ICO on: December 09, 2018, 01:46:03 PM
Theres no bonus so I guess that the market finds a natural equilibrium in price between the two different chains and you exchange them manually as I'm not certain if the ability to burn BLK for the BLN coin lasts forever or not actually.

I wonder this too actually, will the bonus just end after the 14th and will there still be the possibility to burn or will this be the final chance to burn BlackCoin for BlackNet?
248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [FCT] The Factom Protocol on: December 08, 2018, 04:21:48 PM
I think factom is coming to binance, bithumb, okex, huobi anyone of these exchanges and this is why the price is going up due to accumulation! I am doing the same because this kinda price rise happens normally when some crypto is near to be listed on some big exchange!

It's fun how people still think that getting added to a new exchange has anything to do with a price rise. Factom is an old project and the team worked hard during the past 3 years, the rise in value is given by the true value of FCT project.

I have to agree on this. I for one had no idea of all the work that was going on behind the scenes. Of course when the grants were appointed by DHS and by the Gates Foundation and the concepts of Factom were being worked and improved on, all seemed very impressive but I had not kept up for a long time and only kept track of Bitcointalk activity. To see all the great things that are being worked on and how the process of decentralization is taking place is very impressive to see. A lot has been put into place to secure the longevity of the project and to make sure that everyone is doing their part to forward the protocol and the ecosystem.

I look forward to see all of this come to fruition over the coming few years!
249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] LaLa World : An ecosystem for migrants and their families on: December 08, 2018, 04:14:24 PM
Hopefully the introduction of the standalone Crypto Wallet will indeed bring more utilities to LALA World and in turn also create a more vibrant token exchange, where demand will start to outweigh the supply. I think you would make investors really happy if you manage to achieve this, and I think this is what is all about in the end, the synergy between the creators, the investors and the users.

Congrats on the transition to Ubqhash and the implementation of UIP1, great to see that 51% attacks via rental services are a thing of the past now Smiley
251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [SKY] Skycoin Launch Announcement on: December 08, 2018, 04:05:19 PM
Anyone who's been out of the loop and curious as to what Skycoin has been up to in November, have a look at the latest community update. Skywire is getting close to the release of the mainnet, and participation will explode with the removal of whitelisting requirements.
https://medium.com/@Skycoinproject/november-2018-community-update-a8ad4de2e860

I think John McAfee is a good person to have connected to Skycoin, despite his previous pumps and outings he sure does know how to generate some publicity within the crypto ecosystem!
252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Grain.io • The Backbone Of Modern Work Agreements on: December 08, 2018, 04:01:16 PM
@Abal Abal that there are people waiting for them, they do not care how you can see, there is no communication of any kind as you can see anywhere.

Yes, we don't see any improvement or updates from this project, even Sylon manager is not answering anything about their implementation or distribution. Maybe we need to forget about this project.
The most unpleasant thing is ignore and silence. we all understand what the situation is in the market, but other projects are in touch with their community, unlike this project.

Yes, they left the project after raising more than 10000 eth during the crowdsale and really very bad how can they left the community if they don't have any interest in blockchain developments. Like grain, there are many companies ding the same thing after the crowd sales.

I think most of the figures connected to this are public names with a reputation to hold up. If wanted, I'm sure quite some damage could be done if approached in the right way. Most of these are senior level executives of big recruitment companies in The Netherlands. I however have not invested in this project since it did not attract me from the outset, but might be something to look into if you've lost money here.
253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] XAYA 🌟True Blockchain Gaming 🌟 - HardFork Update before block 440k on: December 08, 2018, 03:59:06 PM
The Treat Fighter Open Beta Competition finished on Monday at XAYA block 394,050 shortly after 7 PM EST.

It was a hard grind for everyone involved, but also proved to be a lot of fun and some nice prizes were given out.

It looks like it was a pretty close match in the end. Congratulations to all the winners! Hopefully more similar competitions will follow in the future.

Will support for the Ledger Nano S be built for the new SophiaTX wallet any time soon?

is there a bootstrap or i have to wait 4 years Smiley

You could try this one, although my wallet is actually a few GB bigger:

from:

You can also speed up the process by adding some nodes:

256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [ICO] [VZT] Vezt - Blockchain-secured Music Monetization Platform on: December 06, 2018, 12:41:41 AM
The project works well, ISO are successful. But the liquidity of the token is very small, trading volumes are minimal. People prefer to invest in Fiat money, so the token is cheap.

They could have made some kind of system with buybacks and burns to make it profitable for everyone involved in the whole project. There has been absolutely no reason at all to invest in Vezt. The team did not raise the amount that they hoped for, but you would at least think they still would have their investors in mind while developing the platform. This is very disappointing.

Currently all ISO purchases are converted to Vezt for the actual purchase. This is done with a dev pool of Vezt for the time being.

The roadmap states that they will integrate exchanges with Vezt ISO purchases in the future. Which will put buy pressure on the token. There is a reason to accumulate some.

This has to happen in order for their token to remain a utility token, otherwise it will be deemed a security and subject to SEC regulations.

The dev pool of Vezt already exists. What happens when ISO purchases get converted, do these dev pool Vezt get locked up or something?

Where can I find the current roadmap? It does not seem to be on their website any more. Have they clearly stated somewhere recently that this idea of integration with exchanges is still being worked on and will be implemented in the near future?

A little over a week left to still burn some BlackCoin to BlackNet!

waves is coming to your smartphone this week!

This looks pretty slick! A welcome evolution of the Waves ecosystem, this will make it a lot more accessible for all people interested in the Waves blockchain.
260  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: November 29, 2018, 02:00:55 PM

That's very nice. Is there any date already set when this "game" to receive bytes will be launched? When will the rules be published?

Excellent, finally a next step in distribution and it seems like a fun way to manage it. Hopefully it will be limited to recently active wallets. Looking forward to see more how this will be working.
