241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have $10 in Bitcoin. What coin should I invest in? on: August 24, 2015, 07:19:15 PM
Nothing, $10 is pretty much nothing in the investment world. $100 is the realistic minimum to get any money back.
242  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Antminer U3... Problems..? on: August 24, 2015, 07:14:46 PM
Local generated work items should indicate that you are producing shares locally, or some such thing.  I don't see anything amiss with your numbers, seems to be hashing away just fine, maybe pose your question in the official cgminer thread?  My LW number appears to increase as my miners submit shares to the pool.

Okay! Just read some other items on the website that say that it's a good thing. So I'm not worried.  Cheesy
243  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Antminer U3... Problems..? on: August 24, 2015, 05:39:22 PM
What mining software are you using?  What pool are you mining to?

CG miner, sorry for not being to specific, I thought it was recogniseable in the layout.

I mine on slush's pool with the little guy Smiley
244  Bitcoin / Mining support / Antminer U3... Problems..? on: August 24, 2015, 02:37:02 PM
Well, come across a few unusuals recently.

My Antminer U3 is working hard at full speed, 56GH/s as normal when I first outed it from it's womb (box.. lmao)
I don't think I have seen it recently, but I've starting messing around with wide screen and...

So what is this local work (LW) business and why is the share number so high?

//Thanks

What an absolutely ignorant thing to say.
247  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: ASIC MINING - Newest hardware and the future on: August 23, 2015, 06:42:50 PM
Depends what miner you want and what operation you are planning to run.
The S5 is relatively high-grade, 1000+ GH/s and produces a bit of heat, the S5+ is the shit, produces quite a bit of heat and does an insane amount of Gh/s per unit. I have an S5+ between me legs right now, it's my personal heater!
248  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Well... This sucks! Antminer help! on: August 23, 2015, 11:14:39 AM
So! I stuck the snapped piece off with a little epoxy and it is running just fine, just hope I don't get a fan blade in the leg if it doesn't go as planned! It seems all good, thanks for all your help guys!
249  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Uses for an old block eruptor? on: August 23, 2015, 11:11:30 AM
Heating devices, they works extremely well if you pair them with some quiet fans. Someone even install them in the central heating chamber to send warm air into the whole house

That's just great! If you live near the Arctic Circle. It's August... Summer for 90% of the people on earth.

Y u so salty bruh... I put my s5 in my vents when it was -3 celsius and my house legit warmed up 2 celsius

252  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: What are best ways to promote a faucet ?? on: August 23, 2015, 12:08:20 AM
You can get it to the top of faucetbox.com's list by giving a single payout of 10000 satoshi to anybody through the faucet.
Of course this will get you crazy amounts of users, be ready!
253  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi's timezone on: August 22, 2015, 11:56:04 PM
Gah, just give up on this whole satoshi crap.
He obliviously doesn't want to be recognised for his creation, so leave him be.

254  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Solo Mining With A 333mh/s USB on: August 22, 2015, 11:43:08 PM
I'm also running a U3 behind it now, little bugger is having problems with cgminer 4.5+ >:
I just added my own personal made heatsink to the 333mh/s, so no heating problems will arise...

Peace out!
255  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Syrian Army shoots down Israeli F-16 & 2 attack helicopters after being attacked on: August 22, 2015, 11:35:29 PM

I thought syria was still poor and broken.

256  Bitcoin / Hardware / Well... This sucks! Antminer help! on: August 22, 2015, 11:28:20 PM
So, I was carrying my S5 upstairs and, so be my luck, I fell flat on my face on the last step. The S5 didn't land to seriously and still hashes at it's regular, but the one of the fan's wings snapped off.
There are all but one and the miner shakes when powered on. I think the fan is destabilized in the case that all the antminer fans run in...
So can I stick the broken piece back on with epoxy resin (will it snap again) or can I do some other kind of physics magic to feex it?

P.S. I don't want to order a new fan, not doing that whole ship to american friend and wait 20 days for him to finally send it and get it 9 days later...

Depends who knew you were there and the circumstances that the firewall was deactivated.
258  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Ebola in Sierra Leone: after 4,000 deaths, outbreak all but over on: August 21, 2015, 10:06:30 PM
This ebola news has been missed and I never heard about it for few months. But, it is a good news, so people could visit Sierra Leone and many African countries again.

As if anyone would risk it... lmao!

260  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Solo Mining With A 333mh/s USB on: August 21, 2015, 09:54:11 PM
Are you pointing at your own wallet or one of the solo mining pools that are out there?

I'm aiming at ck's pool right now with the little thing. Too lazy to setup the whole wallet process.
