MinerTopia is not a token. It is a community.
242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: MINERTOPIA - Crypto Mining Slack Channel - Coin Giveaway for 100th member on: April 08, 2017, 06:06:39 PM
We are just about to hit our 100th member on our slack. When we hit our 100th member I will be giving away 100 UBQ to all members evenly distributed. We will be doing more as we go along and mine more as well.

100 each??!

1-200 token to first 100 Topia users.
243  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Global $MUSIC Repertoire based on Musicoin blockchain (Chapter II) on: April 08, 2017, 05:44:29 PM
Currently mining on the NomNom.technology pool, payments stopped yesterday and I have a bigger balance in my pending balance than paid balance.

I checked other miners on the pool and it looks like no one has been paid recently.

I tried to go to their slack to file a report, but I don't have any of the email addresses required to sing up.

If the owners of NomNom.technology see this, please check your pool and make sure you pay your miners otherwise they will defect to other pools.

I see it. Payments will commence shortly. Software bug.

It's not a bug it's an node issue that needs to be restarted? Just curios I thought you weren't operating a pool anymore though in your precious response ? I'm just trying to figure you guys out here. There are some inconsistencies in your communication some times and with all the scams you know you just can't be to sure.

The bug is in the payout node binary. From time to time the wallet auto locks and I have to reset it and then do a manual push of the payouts.

So you are completely ignoring my other two questions then?

I will only stand up a pool so long as it's added to the Ann.

And this is what happens when you have a pool with 80% of total hashrate on it.
Hopefully you will get paid out without a problem. Otherwise I may still open a pool if the network needs one.

Personally I'm not expecting a pump. I'm hoping that with more exposure by being on the larger exchanges that we will gain more users and musicians for the platform.

So does that mean we need millions of tokens to pay for the music ? I like the idea and all and really wanted to stand up a pool but my concern is the main Devs having 80% of the total hashrate of the coin. In my experience when you are mining your own coin it's just bad for business. I am hoping that isn't the case. I'm still on the fence on investment here.

Come join me in the Slack at http://Musicoin.slack.com and we can talk more about Musiconomy Smiley

Also as a side note, I stood up the first pool and then the others followed. I'm on the team now but not as a pool operator but as an Exchange and mining consultant.

The devs haven't mined anything, the initial boost for coins to supply the Pay per Play model were all donated by the community.

Ahh your profile said otherwise.

Polo lists coins it only wants to that are within its best interests. Best of luck but project should be focusing on the project and not on listing on exchanges. I assume with the 200 gh on the network this past week and the huge 80% hash on the pool all will happen is a huge dump on polo. Polo will list on their own if it's got enough volume on bittrex

255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [INFX] Influxcoin | NEWS Update on: March 30, 2017, 03:16:06 PM
Hello dev, can you give some statement / update regarding the development to community plz.. thanks Wink

Regards

This project is still being maintained by myself and I am still opened to getting more people involved. I really want to make this an opened community project as much as possible.

Since there is a lack of pool support and all else I will put up a new pool an explorer and a few other things to help get it moving back in the right direction. I appreciate Chrisx's support and help on this and look forward to working with him possibly in the near future but INFX is my baby and it's very hard to let go of something I have spent so much time and resources on. I have bled out tremendously with this project financially but it was really all for a good reason. I have learned nothing but good things from everyone in the crypto world, INFX has helped shape my future businesses by aligning me with the stars and moving in the right directions.

Right now we are in the process of launching a large scale mining operation that will support many networks by securing them. https://miningrigsolutions.com is our current business in which we are working with many financial institutions and hedge funds to bring crypto into the financial sectors. I do not plan on mining INFX as it's just not right IMO to mine your own coin and it will always lead to hardship.

One of my biggest gripes about INFX has been it's algo. When I first launched INFX it was asic resistant and many people could mine it proportionately. Now with the Asics it has driven the difficulty high and the rewards lower to miners and stakers.

I am proposing that we consider changing the algo or moving INFX to an existing chain that can allow it to still be mined but in a different form as a token or what not. Here's the catch I want you all to decide which direction we should go. INFX needs community support and everyone's input. This is what made me create this project from the get go. I wanted something truly community driven and decentralized.

Hey all since Mining has become such a common practice for all of us there isn't too many resources where miners can really come together and help one another. I have decided to launch a community to help support all miners the crypto space.

we plan on adding lot's of new features on a daily basis such as vbios modding how to's, bios downloads, mining software and much more.

Guys neen really busy with lot's of things going on. Here is the issue with INFX it's no longer ASIC Resistant and has been over run by Asic Miners abroad. I have been heavily involved in the Ethereum Classic community with lot's of Pool Ops support. I am in talks with other devs to possibly come to some sort of new path for INFX. I have spent so much money and lost all I have put into this project. What I would really love to do is to bring INFX into a new ecosystem that is Asic Resistant and allow for all miners to be able to mine it.

If anyone has some proposals as to how to move forward let me know your thoughts. Personally there is so much beurocratic BS in the altcoin market that I have just been burnt out from it all. Maybe it's time to get INFX back up to speed and carve a new path to a solid algo platoform that many can adapt to and scale accordingly.

Please let me know yoru thoughts here.
