241  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Prediction ligue 1, france football league on: November 04, 2016, 06:55:01 PM
I like many others will play both teams to score for this game for the simple fact. Just check the head 2 head statistics and one of the most common result between this two teams is 1-1 especially when playing at Montpellier home.

Also Marseille is in a very good form recently so a X2 double chance to back Marseille win or draw is a very decent odd almost 1.5  , 1.4 in many bitcoin sportsbook.
242  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese Capital Controls on Bitcoin on: November 03, 2016, 08:36:54 PM
that could be a good news for the bitcoin. It means the Chinese government will recognise the bitcoin as a currency.

nope. its use as a currency was expressly forbidden in 2013/14 by the chinese government. they stated that it could be traded and collected and nothing else.

their thinking is that people will use it to surpass capital controls. that don't make it a currency but it does make it more likely to be subjected to another crackdown.

How dumb is it? If people can trade, they can buy and hold it to hide illegal earnings.

Any country do one thing, some 'legalize' it, some ban the exchanges, some ban any other thing and well, this is a mess...

This is a mess but not a problem for bitcoin. I think the price falling since about 2-3 hours is from this stupid news article, if it is so I am not worried at all. I know bitcoin price cannot be manipulated as easy as these guys are saying.

Bitcoin will be great until the end of time, this is as sure as death.

Be calm people and for a joke I bring you one of the top comments of the article.

243  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does experience matter in gambling? on: November 03, 2016, 08:29:22 PM
In a game like dice and roulette experience has a very low effect the only thing that experience can help you is to allow you a greater amount of self-control and as such avoid going tilt or something like that.

Experience doesn't matter in gambling no matter what game it is. It has absolutely no effect over your game. The only thing that matters is whether or not you know how to play it (basic instructions).

Experience does matter and a lot in sportsbook. As an example I am bringing a tipster which is over 38% ROI during his latest 1.5 month playing. You can check his thread here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1580020.240

He clearly shows that experience does matter .  The statistics there back the experience and experience of him has brought so nice statistics so far.
244  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Going all in on a Hillary win bet on: November 03, 2016, 08:20:41 PM
FBI is all over her. If she ever gets elected she will be the first president who is being investigated by FBI in American history. I don't think Americans gonna vote for a criminal like her. That would be a big shame for all American citizens.

If you ever make this bet, you will see your coins for the last time.

In fact I will make this bet and will not see my coins for last time. As I already said Americans are not stupid and they will not vote for an idiot who think being president of America is like a running a business (it isn't).
All this FBI thing I think is fabricated from Trump puppets as he has a lot of money and he can buy high profile figures. I insist it's a sure win for Hillary and if the odd are more than 2 or near 2 is great.
I consider this bet as free money. Talking bad for the immigrants makes only Trump to not get any vote from them and in the us they  are a lot who has a right to vote.
245  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Going all in on a Hillary win bet on: November 03, 2016, 07:50:27 PM
Better odds are for Trump and till now election results seems to get quite tight competition so i still see chance of trump wining is as much as hillary. I am actually thinking opposite to place bet on Trump for better odds than going all in Hillary.

That is wrong. I think Trump as the pig he is has bought some high profile figure from FBI to compromise the emails of Klinton.  I think no matter what he does he will not win the elections this year as I think Americans are not stupid and they will vote for the next comer after Obama which will have the same economy politics. Unemployment rate in US is in the historical lows through Obama term and is only 4.9%.

I would say go all in without any problem for Hillary, it's a sure win.
246  Economy / Gambling / Re: FAIRLAY - SPORTS BETTING for experts - highest liquidity, provably best odds on: November 03, 2016, 07:45:20 PM
we do work very similar to betfair.
The % is just a different representation of the odds. Instead of saying odds of 2.0 you could also say: 50% likelihood.

If you prefer the decimal odds (like betfair) or american odds you can change that (chose it on "options")

Since you are online let me ask another question which is ? I see Over 2.5 and under 2.5 goals for the same game Ajax vs Celta, why there are 2 options for Over 2.5 goals ON and 2 options AGAINST ? Shouldn't it be only 1 option, you bet against over 2.5 or you bet on over 2.5 ? It's a bit misleading for me.
247  Economy / Gambling / Re: FAIRLAY - SPORTS BETTING for experts - highest liquidity, provably best odds on: November 03, 2016, 07:37:29 PM
We reached a bigger milestone!
Today we hit the >1000 BTC in the next president market. Thanks to all of you!

If you are a reddit user please say "hello" here: https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/5ayoon/we_started_our_prediction_market_over_3_years_ago/

So let me see how this works. Those numbers on your website there for example for Ajax tonight are the number of people who think Ajax will win and the others are people who think Ajax will draw or it will lose.
If such is the case why the odd so low for Ajax of only 1.73 ? I am having trouble understanding how it works. I am interested in websites who operates like betfair I guess if I compare you to FIAT sportsbook.

Edit: Never mind I already found out.

Edit again: You just have a new customer Smiley
248  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Erkallys' FREE SPORTS TIPS [W167/L75] on: November 03, 2016, 07:34:09 PM
Lol you had the same tip yesterday with the tipster I follow, who is also supported from sportsbet.io . The funny thing though he posted an odd of 1.60 for Monaco yesterday and you have an odd of 1.55 Huh

The later you bet the lower the odd I am guessing as even the sportsbook reads the news Smiley. I think Nice can win tonight so I am following your bet too together with his.
249  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NEver keep all your coins on an exchange on: November 03, 2016, 05:25:03 PM
Keeping money in an exchange is the same as using an online web wallet. Not much differences between the 2 in the sense that both can be hacked, both can be ddosed and many other things which hackers know better. It is an advice not from me but from the most experienced users of the forum to keep only the amount you trade in the exchange and once you finish immediately withdraw your coins. When you want to trade again you can deposit at that time.
250  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: November 03, 2016, 05:21:42 PM
Fenerbahce vs Manchester United I think this clash will be tough for both teams because Manchester United will be away into this match and there is good chance for Fenerbahce to save this match by playing on home ground, I have my bet on Fenerbahce home or draw.

I don't agree that much with such logic. I have a different view because last game before 2 weeks Manchester United won 4-0 so it will be very difficult for Fenerbahce to hold a draw tonight unless Manchester United screws up very badly. I think they can assure another narrow win tonight although when playing away in Turkey is never that easy.
251  Economy / Gambling / Re: SPORTSBET.IO - Place where you can bet with bitcoins on: November 02, 2016, 08:10:27 PM
Stay tuned, we will be introducing a new leaderboard setup soon with 3 monthly leaderboards. Smiley

There will be 3x monthly leaderboard or leaderboard which runs for 3 months instead of 1 month like before ?

3 x monthly leaderboards Smiley
Currently I am trying to place a bet on tennis event but its not working maintenance mode coming when you are going to set this waiting for update from you

I don't know about tennis but I placed a champions league game there and it worked really fast. I think they are upgrading their site, in fact I can see now that the login time which used to be quite some seconds is almost instant. Give them a bit more time and you will see for sure an improvement. They want to get the biggest here, they opened the signature campaign again and I think it will be running at least until winter break for the sports betting no matter them saying it's only for one month.
252  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Bitlox hardware wallet on: November 02, 2016, 07:20:04 PM
Anyone ordered their hardware wallet yet or not ? this is their website https://www.bitlox.com/ and It seems like It has some nice features but website doesn't look very  good (and powered by Shopify)  or anything serious so really wondering If it's something legit or not

I think it cost too much for a hardware wallet. We have ledger the company with the cheapest price hardware wallets and they are portable enough, once you set them up you can keep them with you (small usb form + security card ) which you can easily keep in your pocket. I have bought them for 21 EUR transport included to Italy. So far I am very happy with it performance so I never look back. It's well worth the money and I suggest to you too to buy a cheap hardware wallet which does it job perfectly.
253  Economy / Gambling / Re: Royalbitflip.com just went online! on: November 02, 2016, 06:55:44 PM
Welcome to Bitcointalk. Is your game provably fair? If yes, how to verify the same?

We haven`t implemented anything like provably fair yet. You just have to trust us at the moment and I`m very sorry about that.
Making our website provably fair is our top priority at the moment and should be done in about a week. I will post or update this post when we implemented this feature.

Thanks for your interest. Smiley

After making your website provably fair at first, you will also need to add other games if you want to survive in the bitcoin gambling arena. In case you haven't look around the gambling forum I suggest you do so to check who the competition is and trust me there are many. They offer, dice, roulette, slots and different kind of sports betting. In case you want to fight against these guys you need a lot of work to be done so better get ready yet.
254  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: November 02, 2016, 06:49:55 PM
Today judging by the odds we can try a lot of different parlays from the champions night. In theory we have a lot of easy wins but practice have shown otherwise yesterday especially that 1.10 odd of Atletico Madrid which won only because of luck yesterday and not of merit. Anyway here are a few suggestions of mine as parlays for tonight.

Parlay 1
Dortmund/Juventus/Sevilla Odd 2.19

Parlay 2
Real/Porto/Monaco/Tottenham 1x DC  Odd 2.5

I would be more happy and I think would have more chances the first one of the parlays yet the second one can happen too.
255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Computer for GPU mining ? Is this enough? on: November 02, 2016, 06:43:43 PM
After failing to set up a solar panel fueled antminer now I move on to my next challenge, this one is a whole lot more achievable.

I have (or it will be finished after 2 weeks) built this PC for GPU mining.

1. Core i3 6100
2. SSD Toshiba 120 GB + HDD 250 GB (I Know this is not important but just to tell you everything)
3. G.Skill 8 GB DDR 4 RAM 2400 Mhz
4. Corsair PSU 550 VS
5. Case: Not decided yet but it will be a well ventilated Mid-tower from Thermaltake or CoolerMaster
6. RX 460 as GPU

I choose this because when I saw mining calculator for Ethereum, I see that RX 460 has 15 Hash and in the end it can give me a profit of about 60-62 USD per month.

My electricity cost is 0.15 USD per K/watt.

I choose RX 460 as GPU because maximum it consumes is about 83 Watt when is on full power. Also the Core i3 6100 in extreme conditions and maximum power it consumes 65 w. SSD, RAM and HDD are all handpicked and almost 0 watt consuming.

I think I am building a perfect GPU mining rig (well GPU will be replaced as many times as needed because it may be worn out from mining but RX 460 cost in Italy is 140 Euro so no problem).

Have I done everything right or I am only dreaming here is my question to you ?

Edit: I didn't knew my real energy cost and now it's more than double so I think this is not profitable at all , damn you Italy, damn you , always going down and more down in every aspect. In fact we are the only country which to pass a law from the small senate room and up to the big one takes an eternity. I think migration is the only option left for us here
256  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Which wallet to use ? Tired of Blockchain on: November 01, 2016, 08:50:44 PM
How about you become smart and switch to Electrum wallet. Enable dynamic fees in the options there and you will have total control on your fees too without using Blockchain.info .

Beside that the private keys will never leave your PC. Yes I know that blockchain.info doesn't store your password and bla bla bla uses json and all is done in the browser but how sure is that ? I would say not much considering that a browser has a lot of flaws.

With electrum if you install it in a clean PC and make sure to save the SEED like it needs to be saved, very carefully everything will be easy.
257  Economy / Services / Re: [ANN] Achow101's escrow service on: November 01, 2016, 08:47:09 PM
Bump.

I have never dealt personally with achow101 but I am a regular user of the forum and I have seen he is very helpful in very important sections of the forum like Development and Technical Discussion, Technical Support, Alternative Clients and Beginner's and Help. Based on what I have seen I can vouch for him. Personally I would have 0 problems using him as an escrow.

Wish you achow101 success in your venture.
258  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BEST FREE SPORTS BETS #1 TIPSTER✔(W2743/L457)BE PART OF A VIP GROUP FOR FREE!!!! on: November 01, 2016, 08:42:04 PM

Your picks are looking great so far. I only fear a bit Arsenal as they were down 2 goals and now they are 2-2. They now the result of PSG winning in first half now so I think they will attack hard during second half and may see many more goals here. I hope Ludogoretz doesn't show signs of fatigue during second half or thing will go pretty badly from there on. But in the end you are doing great as always.
259  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is it safe to keep all your Bitcoins in one wallet? on: November 01, 2016, 08:35:22 PM
If you are asking if it's safe I am assuming you have a nice and considerable amount of bitcoin (at least I think it's considerable to you) and if that is the case the best option in where to store your bitcoins is without a doubt the hardware wallet.

There are a lot of them like Trezor, Ledger, Keepkey etc. You can google about them to read more in depth about them and why they are the best option so far for storing bitcoins.
260  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Buying Bitcoin with PayPal? on: November 01, 2016, 08:26:33 PM
...

Thank you everyone.  I should have mentioned that I am in the USA, which closes off a few options.

OK, it looks like PayPal is not that good a way to get Bitcoin, thanks for the comments.

FWIW, I tried setting up an account w/ Coinbase several months ago, but could not get it to work.  Circle's service DID work, and the fee was low.  But, Circle then went on to ask for more and more (data, ID, etc.), so I'm out.

localbitcoins has worked for me, but it is hard to set up appointments (I like buying in person).  I will look into that again.

Thanks also for references to Anoon.co, I'll take a look, but again, I am American.

For Americans best bet is still Coinbase. You just need to try a bit harder and it will work. Unfortunately there too they will ask for ID and data. You can buy bitcoins from Coinbase by using Bank Account or Credit Card and lately Paypal.

If you were in Europe , you just had to verify a phone number in bitpanda.com and you can buy bitcoin with Paypal and also sell and not only limited to Paypal, even Skrill and Neteller.
