Hi Crowdsale is to simply help fund development, this is a huge project with a lot of interest already. A big aim of ours is to make sure it is done correctly and not rushed, we have a long way to go. Understandable still huge gap between the two dates, you won't find many investors for a project due in half a year, you should maybe delay the the ipo to june if you are expecting the testnet in july. No offense but this has the look of a clear scam, in half a year can happen a lot The testing in July is a promise date, From what I understand the Server Side implementation is almost complete and aim is to release before then, not just test. This depends on how many developers we can get to join the project and contribute to code. There is a lot of work to complete, We have 2 Developers at the moment working full time on Sereneum. I have asked one of them to come by and post an more technical update than what I can give. The crowdsale is to fund hiring of more developers who can help with the project. No escrow, will not even consider it  This is a Blockchain application and not an altcoin. Going through Bitcointalk services to escrow funds for our bigger potential investors is not an option. This is a large project and we cannot allow such funds to be placed into the trust of other people as we would ultimately be liable if anything were to happen. to bad, no escrow(seems that you are more trusted in your opinion), mean i am out, good luck |

Well, as far as I remember they didn't even have wallets. Someone even commented "Graphics, language, seemingly high-end but slightly overstated and vague tech... Looks like a previous coin, VERSA, which was an ICO scam." Sounded a bit fishy, right? You can't compare it to this. I can also give examples on how this crowdfund model did work well: ARCH and VIA for example. It uses the Blockchain API, so all transactions are listed for everyone to see. The only thing that investors are dependent on is if I press "send WARP" at the end of the sale. Which I have no reason not to. And furthermore, there are plenty of other successful ICO's with no escrow at all. A manual escrow with a forum member, that doesn't offer dead man switch or multi-sig is too much of a pain to do, it's unprofessional and can't be done within this implementation of the platform. What else can I say, if you think you won't receive your WARP and you really need another forum member to hold the BTC instead, don't invest. I believe that investors will be able to see that they can have my trust. and where is the warp wallet i dont see it in OP anyway, doesn't matter, i am out since no escrow and i wish you good luck |

I've decided on this crowdsale format for various reasons. If an exchange acts as escrow I don't believe it's transparent. You don't know if funds are re-invested pumping the ICO. Plus, they have ridiculous fees. I've tried multiples times to talk to exchanges and stopped trying when I saw one in particular let a ICO scammer run away with funds because they made some sort of exception. I've tried multisig addresses - which escrows in this forum don't really like, since they want total control of the funds. So I opted on this platform. It's clean, it works, it shows all transactions, where do they go, from where they came. There is no risk of shadiness regarding reinvesting funds. The wallets and source are provided before anybody sends any BTC. The WARP address with 100% of the supply is ready to distribute as soon as the sale ends. Thank you for the interest in the Steps Stake Pool unfortunately there was not enough interest for round two. We reviewed the situation and after careful consideration we think it is best to return all the coins to holders. The pool will be to small to maximize staking for investors. We will need all participants to PM us their STEPS address so we can return their STEPS.
