241  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why do you have Bitcoin? on: March 21, 2016, 10:53:32 AM
I have bitcoins because the fact is that investing in the bitcoin can get you some big dollars for sure.
Its all about patience but I investing in the bitcoin for its future and profit.
242  Economy / Economics / Re: Minimum limit for buying BTC on: March 18, 2016, 11:02:14 PM
minimum limit for buying bitcoin is where you want buy bitcoin, i mean every exchanger will have some rules for user buy bitcoin at their and some exchanger need your identification before you buy or sell  bitcoin.

Yes every trader has certain limit for buy and sell , but its good if we buy in a large amount at once as you don't have to spend trading fees often.
The only limit is your bankroll. There are no other limits when you trade bitcoins, altcoins or any other type of commodity or currency.
Bitcoin can be divided into numbers smaller than 1 cent, so buying desired amount of BTC is not a problem at all.

Some exchanges do handle a minimum fee to deposit. It depends on their deposit fee.
Suppose coinbase charges 0.0002 BTC on every deposit and kraken charges a withdrawal fee of 0.0002 (this mean you should min. deposit 0.0002 BC)
243  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your plan to get rich with Bitcoin? on: March 18, 2016, 10:49:37 PM
My plan is just to hold my bitcoins for a long term and wait till the price is good to sell them and than make a lot of profit with it.
I think this is one of the best methods because you do not have to do a lot for it and its pretty easy .

Many of us hold to this strategy. It may be the only good strategy since there are not many ways to get rich with bitcoin.
I don't plan to get rich with bitcoin btw. For me it's about having the right amount of money to reinvest into something new.
244  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin just became the national currency of the tiny island Pontinha on: March 18, 2016, 10:44:32 PM
The answer is no because this place is not a country at all. And like 5 people live there.  Roll Eyes

Why so negative. It's a start. From here the price is likely to go up. And bitcoin can get some traction. In the end it makes bitcoin more reliable to some countries since others were before them...

Remember people.. baby steps..
245  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling loses and wins on: March 18, 2016, 10:37:06 PM
i think if we know how much we've lost it will give u a trouble, lucky for me not remember so i still can feel happy when i win. also you must remember in gambling lose and win is normal so go to taste it.

I lost more then i won. That being sad. I do agree i made quite some rookie mistakes in my gambling career.
But no, i did not get a very big win yet, like some of you did. But i am working on that.
246  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC to 5000$ soon on: March 18, 2016, 10:30:18 PM
5000USD may never happen, you'll realize later that if the price steps on $500 or probably 700$, a lot of users are going to dump their coins hoping they could buy more when the price is dragged down.
And we can speculate also about returning of BTC to 100$ also because we really don't know what is going to happen. What is regulations becomes very unpleasant for bitcoin? Or even better new coins can take over..
Sure, but there should be some limit for how wild the speculation may be in order not to be considered sci-fi section. To me $5k is a sci-fi section at the moment.

To every normal thinking human being. 5k is Sci-fi. How can anyone expect the price to go times 10 for... no reason at all.
That doesn't make sense to me nor should it. Let's hope the price becomes stable.
247  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: March 18, 2016, 10:26:13 PM
Gold started at 1040 USD and today it's around  1240
Bitcon started at 400 dollar this year and today it's around 407

For me gold is not only better but also a more stable asset.
248  Economy / Speculation / Re: Where do you see bitcoin in 10 years on: March 18, 2016, 10:19:52 PM
I find it hard to believe the price will ever skyrocket again. That part of the bitcoin history is over.
Perhaps some day we see a rise to 1000 dollar or maybe 1500. But from there it will stabilize.
249  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cryptsy Hacker identity incoming - pending bounty on: March 18, 2016, 10:14:31 PM
With the coins just parked and people watching, can they really move them and mix them without us tracking them?

People are watching, but to what. The game is played by the big boys now. If there comes a trade is very uncertain.
I still believe it is some PR happening showing that Big Vern didn't steal the money.
250  Economy / Economics / Re: I'm not gonna sell any coin. on: March 18, 2016, 10:07:45 PM
Selling is not good because the future will be good for the bitcoin and the price will rise to a higher amount for sure without any doubts.
Its just that we need patient and hold them for a while.

So then how much do you still want to keep the coins? Until what value?

Well for me the best price to seel is around 800 USD. Then the price will go back and i make sure to rebuy.
I have seen a downfall with every rise. I expect it to go the same the next rise.
251  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still keep a fiat retirement account? on: March 18, 2016, 10:03:33 PM
What's wrong in having an fiat as an retirement account? is there something wrong in it? No doubt I have faith in bitcoin too but I have more faith in fiat as I believe in reality.

Correct. It's about having some backup plan. Why would you bet on just 1 horse. Suppose the project fails, then you will live your life poor.
So yes i got 1 retirement accounts. 1 is bigger then the other.
252  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: March 18, 2016, 09:59:12 PM
Everton-Arsenal Arsenal win & both teams to score
Chelsea-West Ham  2 home goals
Watford-Stoke City Draw or Away
Crystal Palace-Leicester Draw or Away

all the bet

I only will bet on this game:
Everton-Arsenal Arsenal win & both teams to score

0-3. All goals in the first half. 1 from corner. 2 Yellow cards for Everton.
253  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which game you like most to play gambling on Bitcoin ?? on: March 16, 2016, 08:15:34 PM
The gambling game I like the most is poker, due to the fact with poker you can easily win if you compare it with other gambling games, the chance is much higher if you poker than go throw some dices in my opinion.
I also like blackjack, but overall I like almost very card game and I can really play them for hours after each other.
254  Other / Archival / Re: Should we sell btc? on: March 16, 2016, 08:10:44 PM
Selling bitcoins these days would not be good this moment because the is gonna happen a lot this year.
The halving is coming this year and the bitcoin itself is growing in users so the price will go up for sure, I think waiting till the end of the year will reward you with some profit for sure.
255  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people keep saying BTC is dead?! on: March 16, 2016, 08:06:25 PM
Bitcoin is far from dead no doubts about that of course, mostly this are just people that want to influence the market by saying this.
Its funny because they already lost a lot of bitcoins most of the time because they did something stupid so they are hating on the bitcoin itself...they should hate themselves.
256  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin being used for illegal activities on: March 16, 2016, 08:01:46 PM
Before creating Bitcoin and other altcoins, criminals and terrorists used fiat and cash for illegal activities , and they still using it till now as noticed in news. So accusing only Bitcoin for this purpose coulden't be true, in my opinion.
Yes for centuries, criminals are working their way and they use money whenever and wherever the require, so not when bitcoin is introduced as a currency and everyone is using it, among whom criminals are also included, then why bitcoin is blamed.

Yes you are right its just bullshit in my opinion because the fact is that bitcoin itself is used by many fair people that have nothing to do with criminals.
The media is just talking bad about the bitcoin, every currency is getting used for criminal activities so what...
257  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much have you gambled? on: March 16, 2016, 07:54:52 PM
Overall I gambled with around 1,2 bitcoins in my whole gambling career with the bitcoin itself, I find it not much if I'm honest.
But its still 1,2 bitcoin that I lost, well I think it was worth it because I had fun with it and it was fun for a couple days so.
258  Economy / Speculation / Re: It is Buy time! on: March 16, 2016, 07:50:32 PM
Its a good time to buy your bitcoins right now, no doubts about that for sure but its also the question if it will be good to do.
I think it will but we still need to see this, I hope the halving will help us with it.

You are right the time to buy bitcoin now is pretty good because of the halving no doubt about that, but its still that you have to keep in mind the halving can also be bad.
The halving can have a positive thing on the price or it can be very bad for the bitcoin market price.
259  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: March 16, 2016, 07:44:31 PM
No I do not see this happen if I'm honest because the dollar is way to big to take over in such a soon time period if you ask me.
It will take years to even concur with the dollar in my opinion.
260  Other / Off-topic / Re: Earning a living with bitcoin? on: March 16, 2016, 07:39:05 PM
Earning a living with the bitcoin is possible but you should never invest too much in the bitcoin if you do not have the money for it
It can be easily done but you should do more things at once, just hold some bitcoins but you should also trade because there you can also make profit with.
