Another 130 added at 13.61, probably the same person.

I can just imagine, a tear falling down onto the keyboard right now, of the bear giving up his last bit of hope. Probably the same guy that dumped down to $12.90 and $13 last week  Cheesy
243  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker on: December 12, 2012, 07:29:39 PM
Some bids are being removed, people not wanting to be left behind supporting the rally?  Cheesy
244  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker on: December 12, 2012, 07:13:01 PM
Probably the same person working around the clock adding 59.99btc to the sell side at 13.69 for half a day, doing everything possible to prevent 13.70 from falling.

I feel a little sorry for the bears, you know. They have so much spirit! Cheesy
245  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker on: December 12, 2012, 07:07:38 PM
Weird, we finally break $13.70 and then someone decides its time to sell at $13.60.

Judging from the raised limits, it doesn't look like this worked out for whomever overall though
That's quite the understatement.  Look at the charts below!

Wow!
247  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker on: December 12, 2012, 12:52:19 PM
I can feel the explosion coming if we pass $13.70

Good luck! Smiley

Does anyone actually believe Satoshi and their odds? I do believe the game is completely rigged. I had a great run up 70btc in 2 days. Then lost it all while betting only 91% chance to win games. Im new to this stuff but what are your thoughts?

When you had your "great run" that defied the odds, you weren't complaining then. My advice is to stop gambling.

This is what makes me lol
251  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker on: December 12, 2012, 09:52:10 AM
walls gone!
buy now! or get left behind!

I'm leaving 500$ behind.... my buy back bid was not filled  Cry

If you are expecting a rally, you should still buy, no?

Yes if you are expecting a rally you should buy but on the other hand if you are expecting the price to fall you should sell this is one of the basic trading secrets the fat cats on wall street don't want you to know.

Shut up you sarcastic obnoxious prick!
Huh

I know right lol
252  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker on: December 12, 2012, 07:51:37 AM
anyway should be a big rally now because Smoothies in the wall thread

Should put that in your signature  Cheesy
253  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker on: December 12, 2012, 07:26:50 AM
Someone must really need some USD right now, but can't because of all this low volume lol

Maybe we have different ideas of 'need' but there are over $800000 on offer above $10/coin so volume shouldn't be an issue.

edit: at that one market... mtgux or something.

I meant he was trying to sell them at ~$13.60, but the low volume was forcing him to sell into bids.

256  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: @MtGox Staff... when will mtgox change the number of confirmations? on: December 12, 2012, 06:18:42 AM
bitstamp = 3
fastcash4bitcoins = 3
bitfloor = 6
campbbx = ?
I want to say BTC-e is <6 but it has been a while since I used that site.

Related, Campbx only requires 4 confirmations, and btc-e only requires 3.
257  Economy / Speculation / Re: Who is trading(ask) 0.01 on Mt. Gox ?? to keep price down? on: December 12, 2012, 06:00:33 AM

How about pirate? Cheesy

In all seriousness, nobody knows and they haven't come forward in the past so they probably want to keep it that way.
258  Economy / Speculation / Re: there's going to be panic buying monday on: December 11, 2012, 09:27:43 PM
well that was a lot less than i was expecting.

Tons of bids were placed instead.
259  Economy / Speculation / Re: there's going to be panic buying monday on: December 11, 2012, 08:48:00 PM

Bid/Ask continues to diverge.

The Book of Gox is running out of coins.

I think what we are seeing is just the growth of bitcoin, look at the google search queries over the past 2 years. Interest is going up again, although we are nowhere close to the $30 bubble times lol
