That is very hard to predict for what the value will be after 4 years. You can never know what will happen later in the future.

I think in 2020 bitcoin will be spend at the world, and more merchant will be join to accept bitcoin and if more merchant accept it, and more transaction at bitcoin, rate will be may 1000$ is enough. Well, holding it that long could give you a good money but that was too long I think...I prefer selling it when the price bubbles and just bought again when the price dips...I believe that when you keep it for too long might not be good, what if it was on timing that you need the profit from your coins and the price was in dip because of volatility... Holding is always good, but if you want to make profit you have to wait sometimes a long time to get some nice profit but it can take a really long time and that is bad. You are right with this the point is that every gamble bet you are making get you more and more addicted, I think it do not depend on in what is your religion because everyone can try it once some get addicted because its enjoying and at some people not.
