244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: can i buy bitcoin cash somwhere? on: August 02, 2017, 02:06:37 PM
As long as you have your private keys of the address where you hold bitcoins you can claim/access your bitcoin cash. Just follow the steps mentioned by theymos on this post https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2059111.0

Yep, I think I have it figured out for the most part.

Step 1) Create a COMPLETELY new btc wallet - DONE

Step 2) Move all of your btc from your pre-fork wallet to the new one - DONE

Step 3) Get a separate computer (preferably) so you can install the BCH wallet there rather than on your main computer - DONE, have an old laptop I can use for this

Step 4) Install a BCH wallet and import the pre-fork one (that should now have zero btc in it).............. this is the step I'm having difficulties with, as I'm not sure which wallet to install. Some people mention Electron Cash but I'm reading mixed reviews...

I have pretty much everything else figured out and in place, just not sure which wallet to pick.
I am also in the same boat. Can't seem to decide BCC/BCH wallet.

246  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / How to generate private keys using 12-word seed and claim BCC later on? on: July 31, 2017, 11:17:44 AM
Can someone kindly explain me step by step procedure for generating private keys using 12-word seed for claiming BCC if I have BTC stored in My Private Wallet in Lykke Wallet?
This is what is announced by Lykke Wallet as their August 1st plan : https://www.lykke.com/company/news/Lykke-Policy-for-Bitcoin-Cash
247  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: selling bitcoin for paypal, dont care about chargeback on: July 31, 2017, 06:45:48 AM
Paypal only.
Some may say im crazy and that i will get investigated for fraud and my bankaccount frozen but for me it doesnt matter since, well, i have A LOT of bankaccounts and cashout methods for paypal so.
First of all, NO ESROW!.Transfer the monney from other ip and computer if you want to be safe. That way you can allways get you monney back by saying your paypalaccount got hacked.

-You send monney to my paypalaccount and after 1-2 days, when i got the monney to my bankaccount or cashed them out in other way, you get your coins.
-If chargeback accours before ive been able to cash out the funds, you will not get your coins. Obvious for most i think but just so everything is clear.

-I can wait maximum 7 days if paypal decide to hold transaction. When they are released you wil get your coins. - I charge 13% on all orders

Sell your shit idea to this guy and you will make 100% rather than just 13% on every trade. He is buying bitcoin for PayPal at 2x of their price which he will later charge back. Just ideal candidate for the your job?

Interesting to know that he was processing payments for one of the closed exchanges CryptoXchange (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=126724.0) in January 2012 and processed many payments to Alexander Vinnik (co-founder of seized exchange btc-e).

Here is the thread where I found this information: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=85977.0
250  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Guide] Handling splits: UASFs, BIP148, etc. on: July 30, 2017, 12:37:32 PM
I am just wondering where are the sellers here getting their BCC from?
https://www.viabtc.com/quot/realtime?currency=cny&dest=bcc&chart=simple

BCC will start to exist after August 1st only. So, how come they have it before this date?
Did they convert their BTC to BCC at 1:1 and started selling it from July 22nd onwards?
Those are Bitcoin Cash futures.

One actually don't need to hold them for selling them?
Assuming, I have 3 BTC with me, then can I sell 3 BCC future for CNY on ViaBTC today and supply them BCC after August 1st and sell my CNY for BTC and withdraw BTC?

253  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Where to exchange Perfect money into BTC with low fee? on: July 30, 2017, 09:11:05 AM
0.9% fee for Perfect Money deposit/ withdrawal; 0% fee for BTC deposit!

Epay.com recently comprehensively lower their fee information, this is really a good news for E-currency fans.Recently, I see many people discussing how to find a good platform to exchange their BTC or Perfect Money, etc.

So that inspired my interest to write a post to share my experience! I just finished my last currency exchage deal on Epay.com, it is quite fast,easy-operated and low fee.

How to exchange Perfect Money to BTC:

1. Deposit Perfect Money to Epay account(0.9% fee)

2. Exchange Epay USD into mBTC

3. Withdraw mBTC to your BTC Wallet

All done! Just use fee click, you can quickly finish your deal here.

At what rate do you sell BTC for?

255  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Buying BTC for TransferWise on: July 28, 2017, 06:18:14 PM
Does anyone here accept paymet through transferwise.com?
If you do please PM me your rates and conditions for payment if you have any.

I can't understand, why exactly are you wanting to use TransferWise only?
How are you going to fund your TransferWise account?

Are you willing to undergo verification?

I have updated my wallet today and now I am on version 8.8.3.
Since then I am unable to withdraw bitcoin and getting Runtime error, code: 15 message everytime I am trying to withdraw bitcoin.

Can this please be fixed on urgent basis and new version of app released asap?

Unfortunately several users report this issue. Hope it will be solved soon - they're working on it.
Any ETA for the fix?

As far as I know it should be fine now - do you still get the runtime-error?
Yes.

Ok. Please write to support@lykke.com. In case you've already done that you can message me your ticket number.

Sent.

I use Lykke wallet and I don't see these transactions added in my wallet.
Can someone from Lykke please help me to identify the issue here?

Similar issue happening again. Last 3 transactions sent to the address on my profile are not shown in my wallet.
Ticket raised for the same and number PMed you.

I am not sure why there are so many issues and same issue keeps happening again and again.
257  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Want to understand this transaction on: July 26, 2017, 01:34:23 PM
All the addresses in the transaction is a "sending address". To be precise, in a transaction, the input is referenced to a previous transaction and has the signature required to spend it.

If you are talking about the amount spent to another party, it is impossible to tell.

You mean all the input addresses belong to one person and one wallet?
258  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Want to understand this transaction on: July 26, 2017, 01:23:25 PM
Can someone please tell which is the actual sending address in this transaction? It got multiple input addresses.
