Hi there , are you guys planning to make a C2C (Card to card) feature which should allow users to send funds to each others ? (just like Payoneer to Payoneer & Neteller to Neteller) , that would be awesome .

Hello,
We are planning to add card-to-card transfers between Wirex cards in one account for sure (i.e. between your cards) - and I do not know yet whether it would work for just any cards withing Wirex (i.e. between your cards and other Wirex users).

Card to Card between wirex users works !  you just need to go trough https://cardholder.mychoicecorporate.com/v3/tpl/index.html mychoice bank interface.

I rather meant C2C transfer within Wirex accounts.

We do not recommend and do not support direct client's access to mychoice accounts

Hello,
There is nothing to worry about.

Our company name - as you may already noticed - is Wirex Ltd (CRN 09334596)

Hi!

I've a few questions about the unverified card.

Does anyone know if they [Ecoin] share any type of personal data with governments? Like balance of account, deposits, withdrawals etc..
How anonymous is the 'unverified' card?
Is it possible to purchase several unverifed cards to one shipping address?
When you order a card do you need to use real personal data or is just a "real" shipping address enough?

Thanks!

Hello,

Neither we nor bank provide any personal data with the governmental services. I think it is also somehow stated in Gibraltar laws.
Virtual card is pretty anonymous - you basically can enter any info for personal data or residence address, as there is no verification and no delivery. Just do not make any fraud transactions with it and do not exceed unverified load limits (bank monitor suspicious activity and can block the card - for unblock they sometimes require ID and address proof)

Technically, it is possible to purchase few cards for the same shipping address from different Wirex accounts, however once again - the bank monitors suspicious activity (and for them few cards in the same currency ordered to the same address is suspicious) and block such cards on monthly basis. For unblock they require ID and address proof in such cases. So, be careful.
This is - I guess - an answer for your last question as well.

I got the beta wirex app. Its nice, altho i would prefer my home screen to not be my cards, rather options and btc. Also card balance is not showing (currenty?), btc ballance works.
Still no sign of unload funds to wirex balance, or buy btc from balance or card. :L(((((

Would you mind to send all this to support@e-coin.io with subject [Beta] if you haven't yet? We will forward all feedbacks to our mobile team.

+ there were temporary issues with displaying card balance as I've heard. Perhaps this was the reason why you did not see it in the app.

I guess Now E-coin is Wirex.
Will you have a free delivery card raffle this time?

Hello,

No, the cards' prices will not change. And we are still E-Coin, the move to Wirex has not been completed yet.

i am really disappointed in the service this time and want to say your customer support is not good at all.. everything was working fine, i deposited coins on 28th feb and they never showed up in my account even though they are long confirmed on network .. i contacted customer care and no reply ... i left a message on live chat then i got a reply only twice stating the tech team will look into it and till now NADA my money is still not in my account sent msgs on the support and no reply at all since 48 hours this is really disappointing.

Hello, would you mind to send me your email address in PM?

We recently had issue with synchronization: the bitcoins arrived to your BTC wallet, however the balance in the account itself was not updated. I would check whether this is the case and sync it manually.
Alternatively, I will be able to see your tickets history and know what was done.

Hello, I ordered a EUR card (paid $50 for Express shipping) on Feb 26th, but got no tracking number. I also contacted support yesterday via E-coin form (I wasn't logged in, but added my E-mail address) and got no reply. The reason I contacted support was so they can send me the tracking number.

Hello Ionut,

I have checked your tracking number, we have not received it yet. As soon as it arrives, we will let you know.

Is there any monthly fees while using the virtual dollar card ?
because while I was checking my account later, I found that there is a $1 was deducted from my card and was labeled as a TransactionFees ! Can you tell me why is that ??

and please try to raise your rates with your new rebranding because your btc/usd price is always lower than all exchanges

Yes, there is monthly service fee of $1 (or 1 EUR, 1 GBP depends on your card's currency). It is taken every months around the same day while you have positive balance on the card.

As for the rate, I know our senior management was considering improving the rate, however I do not know the results unfortunately. I mean, I do ot know whether any changes will be done or not, but I hope so.

Still no changes unfortunately.

I don't understand what are the consequences of a name change for e-coin.
a summary? Huh

The blog covers the most consequences, however to make long story short the following will change for the existing users:
- design and interface of our website;
- more features will be added and mobile app will be launched;
- new domain and new site to login (though you can use e-coin.io for some time after rebranding is completed);
- new email for support.

Cards' design will change as well (for new cards).

In general, all work flow remains the same. You will be able to use the card the same way you did before, send and receive bitcoins, load the card, verify the card, etc... Well, and more as new features and improvements are coming.

I have seen today on e-coin channel on youtube how to verify paypal account fast through e-coin card, is it possible to withdraw the money from paypal to this card and then convert to bitcoin?

It will be very soon.

At the moment, we have Visa virtual cards where you can withdraw funds from PayPal. However we do not have unload card feature (to transfer those funds in BTC).

we are going to add this option soon which will give you the desired flow of actions:
- verify virtual card with PayPal;
- send funds from PayPal to the card;
- send funds from the card to bitcoin wallet and get bitcoins.
253  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin debit card on: February 26, 2016, 04:15:06 AM
xapo works differently, it directly converts you btc on the fly when you use it. This is a much better solution we get more control .
Only feature i would like to see is e-coin buy btc from our e-coin card balance. Also i notice the competition SatoshiTango that issues the cards from the same bank,
has both the buy btc, but most importantly it has a "Unload card" feature witch unloads the funds from the card to Site balance, and then it can be used for other things on site.

We'll add unload card feature very soon. As we have just announced, we are rebranding - so we expect to have card unload right after the Wirex is launched fully.

Hello, I'd like to know if it's possible to do a chargeback with this card (if I'd ever need to do that). Please let me know more about this.

I doubt that is possible because you're using BTC to fund the card, which is irreversible by nature.

Once BTC converted to FIAT (loaded to the card), the regular rules of chargeback are applied. So, to make chargeback for transaction made from the card is possible.

Situation is more complicated, if you paid with BTC (made BTC transfer) directly. I am actually not sure at all what is procedure in that case.
I guess, you need to contact the merchant and request them to refund you the money, because yes - technically, there is no way to recall BTC transaction.

Yes, surely you can. Email support team and we will send you dispute form to fill in for the bank. The only thing is - most merchants have gap of 45-90 days to response for dispute, and our bank let them have all this time. So, the money might be refunded in 2-3 months only (though it is pretty unpredictable - sometimes few weeks, sometimes 2 months).

@ Wirex this is a link to a pdf on your site > https://www.e-coin.io/assets/helpcenter/cardlimits.pdf

and this pic is how you get to it

Thanks for clarifying the limits.

Thank you for the path! I'll show this to our managers and ask to remove it, or redirect to our main Fees and Limits page.
258  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin debit card on: February 21, 2016, 02:50:43 AM
Hi All,

We temporary reduced card load limits for our EUR and USD cards. GBP has finished again.

Some crazy amount of loads is made this days, and we are running our of FIAT incredibly fast, and the bank is off to the weekend now - so the limits are set to get all of you possibility to load the card at least with something.

I apologize for the inconvenience. This is temporary.
259  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin debit card on: February 21, 2016, 02:31:17 AM
@wirex Can you clarify the withdrawal limits for e-coin cards. As you have information on your website that contradicts with one another.

On E-coin website first there is information : upgrade your account to “Verified” status or instance, you can load up to $20,000 onto your E-Card and withdraw up to $3,000 cash daily. Without any maximum balance or in-store/online spend limits!

then there is a link to a pdf that states different numbers > https://www.e-coin.io/assets/helpcenter/cardlimits.pdf  where it shows the veryfied limits $1000 per atm twice a day, + $2500max daily load

And then again in the FAQ> E-Coin card types and limits> MAX DAILY SINGLE LOAD IS 10.000

So everywhere is different, on the webpage front you are advertising 3K for veryfied, on the pdf its 1K x2 , and in the FAQ max daily load is 10.000per tx while in the pdf its max daily load 2.5k

Do you even know what the limits are?
To make things worse, when i log into my account on http://www.mychoicecorporate.com it says my card limits are ATM 1K x 2 , max load 10K x2 per day. + it has a KYC2 and KYC3 level .

Please update the correct information across the board, in the FAQ section, in the PDF, on the front of the site and the blog as they are all different.

Also please state if when we verify are KYC 2 or KYC 3 level verified. (i see no reason we should be KYC2 if we submit address and document as that is usualy KYC3 everywhere else.)

Hello,

Yes, we know what the limits are: https://gyazo.com/1618fd56ecbe6462a91e530e76b6138d
The limits in your account are the correct ones.

On our main Fees and Limits page the information is a bit outdated (it is somehow hard-coded and not so easy to change as far as I remember). We will fix this soon.
The PDF file. To be honest this is the first time I see it, and never knew about its existence. Could you please advise the path to it?

As for KYC levels. Our bank has KYC 1 (unverified card) and KYC 2 (verified card). KYC 3 does not exist.
We asked the bank about possibility to have KYC 3 for higher ATM withdrawals, however they do not have it and not going to add new level at this time.

We also have special manual process for higher sums load to the card (as stated on our main Fees and Limits page - up to 20k per day), so if you are interested, just send an email to support@ - we would provide procedure details.

These e-coin support stuff really pisses me on! Yesterday i deposited 20€ to my account and tried to load my card. But i got an error "loading failed".
Since yesterday the 20€ i wanted to transfer on my card disappeared. As you can see on the attached picture ITS NOT IN MY ACCOUNT, NOT ON MY CARD AND HAS NOT BEEN TRANSFERED! Its just DISAPEARED!  Angry

I wrote to theyr support and trold them tree times now exactly what happened but these *** allways only reply "it should be credited to your account allredy now". IT HAS ALLREADY BEEN THERE YESTERDAY!

As a three support tickets dont bring these guys to look at this and fix the problem made of theyr system maybe this here helps!
