241  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you keep buying? on: October 16, 2017, 05:14:26 PM
For me; it's time to wait for the next price dump to jump in and buy
242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO Is Really A Good Investment or Not? on: October 12, 2017, 01:09:55 PM
Hello, Friends...

I Recently listen about the ICO (Initial Coin Offerings)! But I'm confused, Is it a Right Investment or Not?

Anyone Suggests me!

Short answer: It depends!

I suggest you start by searching (mainly here on BCT forum) for all due diligence activities you'd need to do (check) before getting yourself into investing in a certain ICO
243  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What impresses you the most about Bitcoin? on: October 12, 2017, 01:07:20 PM
For me, it's always the underlying technology: 'blockchain' and of course: decentralization!

245  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to explain bitcoin to teenagers or children on: October 12, 2017, 10:01:08 AM
It always worked well for me when I explained blockchain to anyone (even young folks) before getting into BTC or other Crypto Currencies area
The idea is how to explain blockchain as a distributed thing versus the regular centralized.....Just imagine the examples you can use here
246  Other / Meta / Re: My post count are reducing. on: October 12, 2017, 09:49:35 AM
Can someone tell what was the problem on my account? My count of post are being reduced, since last week. Please help.

Same here!
As long as you're not getting a notification message; it's most likely that some thread(s) (you participated in) have been deleted so your posts number is decreasing
247  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still support Ethereum? on: October 12, 2017, 09:46:35 AM
Yes, I do!
Given the huge number of 'good' ERC-20 tokens, I believe Ethereum is the queen of the Crypto World (with BTC being the King for sure)
248  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin overcome Paypal? on: October 12, 2017, 09:40:38 AM
With all the 'pain' I'm getting every time I use Paypal (part of it being because of Paypal services limitation for my current location) & the 'easiness' of using BTC and other Crypto Currencies, I'd say YES
249  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is it risky to turn all my money to bitcoins? on: October 12, 2017, 09:35:05 AM
is it risky to turn all my money to bitcoins? anyhow this money sits in the bank and do nothing for!

I always believe that BTC (and all crypto currencies) will eventually live in parallel with FIAT, i.e. the real money (FIAT) will always exist
So, I believe that it's not even wise to convert all your FIAT money to BTC
Moreover if you're getting into BTC or crypto for investment purpose; then, as with all other kind of investment, 'play' only with the money that you can live without
250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pre-ICO bonuses on: October 06, 2017, 03:31:59 PM
We're currently in the same situation where we're thinking of the 'nice & safe' discount % for the Pre-ICO.....IMO; any % between 25-30 from the ICO price is optimum and safe to protect the potential ICO investors
251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO without Slack? on: October 06, 2017, 03:15:53 PM
My phone is lighting up with slack notifications from scammers. Seems like every ICO is unable to close the vulnerability.

What are your thoughts on running an ICO and simply skipping slack as a social channel? Do people even care about slack when there's bitcointalk, telegram, discord, etc.?

You can definitely run an ICO without Slack being one of the communication channels (beside others of course) but it's become like a 'consensus' to use it, at least, as the 'Technical' chat room where the potential ICO investors can meet up with the developers and ask all kind of questions they need to ask.
252  Other / Meta / Re: Why my posts are decreasing? on: October 06, 2017, 01:57:54 PM
I had exactly the same case over the last week & didn't get any PM that my posts had been deleted by the moderator
So Yes, as others are explaining; i believe it's be because the thread (with all posts) had been deleted
253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fork time / bloody october? on: October 03, 2017, 04:11:46 PM
Is this the beginning? How do you prepare your investments...?  Huh Huh Huh

Stay Calm & Don't Panic!
Just keep in mind that nothing severe happened last August (1st of Aug) & everything went good for bitcoin.
I was concerned some time ago that this could 'negatively' affect any upcoming ICOs that will take place at the same period but after the good responses I got over here; I'm sure it will pass smoothly
254  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it safe to participate in ICO's? on: October 03, 2017, 04:05:43 PM
Right now there are many ICOs coming out, is it really safe to participate in any of it and spend that much? In participating ICOs I have high hopes that these coins could be the next Bitcoin or other currencies that are really going up in the market.
Is it safe or not really depends on you doing your own due diligence exercise....Vet/Examine all details about any specific ICO before jumping into it....Read its White Paper carefully, take a look at the team bio, idea, # of tokens, distribution of tokens.....and so on
255  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: About crypto trading on: September 29, 2017, 06:58:15 PM
I never heard about that but I know that when an exchange offers a new coin to be traded on its platform, they 'could' allow it to be traded with zero fee for short time for their existing customers....that's like a promotion or something like that
256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to detect a scam ICO? on: September 29, 2017, 06:52:46 PM
How to detect a scam ICO?
From the combination of the team members' profiles/Bios as well as its White Paper (you will easily feel if it's genuine or it's just produced via 'copy-paste' from other WPs)
257  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin can hit 5000$ before november?? on: September 28, 2017, 02:55:47 PM
China ban ico  and also try to ban bitcoin. As a result bitcoin dumping and price 3000$ below. Now bitcoin again hit 4000$+ now .Bitcoin can 5000$ before november? I want to hold my bitcoin  plz give me your predict?

Ideally, it would reach that 5K bar & even exceeds it but the only thing in the air now is the coming segwit2x & the 'possible' fork....Yes, I admit that it couldn't happen and more folks are now mature because they've learned from the 1st of Aug case but again, you can't 100% control the fear out there so there could be some dump before or during November
258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto based credit/debit cards? on: September 28, 2017, 02:44:54 PM
Just saw Monaco Visa card, and the idea looks usefull.
Any experiences with this type of services?

Yeah, I issued my Virtual Crypto Debit card (from another provider) months ago.....I am using it on a daily basis in almost all of my online transactions including my frequent 'Uber' rides.......I chose the Virtual card option as the physical one wasn't an option for my current location (my country isn't yet on the list of countries where they can ship physical cards to)
I feed it with BTC, Eth or any Crypto option (there is also the Wire Transfer option but I didn't use it)
259  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many people are asking you about Bitcoin now? on: September 25, 2017, 10:19:54 AM
I've been talking about Bitcoin to family, friends and random people for years and nobody seemed to mind when BTC was under $1000. But now that Bitcoin has reached $2000, people are starting to realize that owning 1 BTC is beginning to be out of reach for the average person.

I've had more people ask me about Bitcoin lately and wanted help buying Bitcoins. What about you?

Actually many folks are asking me about BTC as well as blockchain & other crypto currencies when they got to know that these became part of my daily job with my current employer
260  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: does wars will affect the cryptocurrency market? on: September 23, 2017, 08:37:35 AM
Any global news does affect the Crypto market (either positively or negatively)....This includes 'Wars' for sure

But it depends on the nature of that war, the countries involved, its impact.....and many other factors

Also, keep in mind that BTC & other crypto currencies are weightless & can hold great value...so they are among the things that people can hold during periods of crises
