241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tell me where to sell coins on: May 08, 2018, 09:53:43 AM
The exchange where you can sell your coins actually depend on the coins or tokens that you are holding which you got from the bounty. There are a lot of exchnages out there and your coins might not be listed on them so you need to research and find out the exchanges where the tokens were listed on and find the most convenient exchange depending on your needs and you can sell them there.
242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Just RELAX, it will be OK! on: May 08, 2018, 09:28:01 AM
Sure, everything will be fine. There is no need to be afraid of you loosing your holdings. The market might seem to be going down or not moving as expected, but a time will come that everyone will be surprised at the way the prices of coins will escalate. Patience they say is key.
I wish a lot more people actually thought this way and understood the market, there is no way that the prices will actually stay down and not recover. Every crypto investor knows that patience and waiting is actually a big part of the investment process and there is nothing you can do about it. Just hold your coins for the meantime and if you can, buy more.
243  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone make serious profit from hodling 6-12 months ? on: May 08, 2018, 09:19:42 AM
All of my profits that I have made from cryptocurrencies have been from holding bitcoins and some ethereum. I tried my hand at trading once but i did not make a lot of money from it which is why I stop. It takes a special kind of attention to actually make it through trading. So the answer to your question is yes, I have made a lot of money from holding coins
244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How many activities to leave Jnr Member rank? on: May 06, 2018, 09:04:21 AM
Actually the only rank that you can get to using just activities is just the junior rank. To get to a higher rank is where the issue of merit comes in. If you don't get enough merit, no matter how much posts you have or how much activities you have, you will be stuck on junior rank. To actually leave junior rank, you need to get ten merit and that is how you become a member
245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Target on ETH should 2000$ on: May 05, 2018, 07:33:56 AM
You're right. I think the target people keep setting for ethereum is always too low as it seems that they do not believe ethereum can do that well. $2000 target for ethereum is very reasonable and I believe that is what we should be aiming for by the end of the year. And during the next bull market we should expect much more than that from ethereum.
246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Regret! on: May 04, 2018, 11:25:20 AM
My only regret in bitcoin was not believing in it when I first came across it and then when i finally believed, I put off buying into it for such a long time that I actually forgot all about it and then when i finally did buy into it, the price was already on the high side which means I lost a lot of money from not believing, i owuld have being a millionaire by now
247  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC to receive bounty rewards. on: May 03, 2018, 07:22:35 AM
I don't think that know your customer at the end of bounty programs are a good idea because if we are being honest, a good percentage of these bounties have useless projects and people are just doing it in order to get some free money and not because they believe the project will do good so I don't feel good about giving my identity to some dead end company.
248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Patience is the key on: May 02, 2018, 09:51:21 AM
You're absolutely right OP. Without patience you will be easily moved by every little thing that happens to the market which means that you are more likely to panic buy and panic sell coins. When you have coins or buy coins, you should steel yourself and get ready for the long hold which is why we tell people to never invest more than they are willing to lose so they can hold without consequence
249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do we Need Altcoin? on: May 01, 2018, 11:26:57 AM
Actually we do need altcoin, if it does so happens that cryptocurrenies actually  become legal tender and the accepted way of payment then there is no way that bitcoin would be able to serve the entire world, given it's limited supply and so we need good altcoins to actually balance out bitcoin and to cover the places which bitcoin supply cannot cover by itself.
250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is NEO still worth investing in? on: April 30, 2018, 07:24:16 AM
NEO is a good project regardless of what anyone says, it might be suffering now but it is not peculiar to it right now as all other coins are also struggling with the price drop but NEO has and will always be a good project to put your money in but you have to understand that with a project like NEO you would have to be ready to hold for the long term in order to make profit.
251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I want a long term investment what s the best choice for now? on: April 28, 2018, 07:23:43 AM
Honestly for the long term the best coin for you is bitcoin, because it is the strongest coin in the market and that  means that it has the best potential and the best chance of pulling through the years and still be intact. Although if you are looking to invest in altcoins then you might as well buy into the ethereum and NEO coins and hold onto them
252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will other coins beat bitcoin in the future? on: April 27, 2018, 10:42:51 AM
Looking at the market now and the way the coins are going right now there doesn't seem to be a possibility that other coins will overtake bitcoin. The closest coin is ethereum and even that seems to be so far behind bitcoin that even catching up to bitcoin in terms of prices and market value is not even feasible at this point. Maybe in the future though.
253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MyEtherWallet Succumbs to DNS Attack with $ 17 million stolen on: April 25, 2018, 11:26:38 AM
This is the biggest threat to the cryptocurrency market. There are always hacks and people are always losing money to these hacks which means that a lot of people get scared about investing due to the fear that they might lose their coins. Although Myetherwallet seem to be dealing with the hack accordingly, I am not yet able to log into my wallet to see if my coins were stolen
254  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Another Bear Market coming soon? on: April 24, 2018, 09:38:13 AM
With the price increase and recovery that we are seeing now we should definitely be expecting another bear market after this because that is how the market works, just as prices cannot stay down forever, they also cannot stay up forever so we should brace ourselves for another bear market after a good run. Make sure to not panic as even that will pass
255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Market is GREEN - Do you trust it on: April 23, 2018, 06:15:00 AM
Yea it's a good thing to look at right now as the past couple of weeks the market has been in the green and seem to be recovering more albeit slow but steady, although we all know that it might go back down since price fluctuations are normal in the market so we cannot really expect prices to stay green forever. It is a nice change from the bleeding market we had last month though.
256  Other / Archival / Re: So many Bounties-Which one is trusted? on: April 22, 2018, 07:06:14 AM
Picking a bounty campaign can be tricky and it is not something anyone can or should do for you, what you should do is look up all of the ICOs offering bounty campaigns now and check out their project and their proposals, if after doing research you think that the ICO will do well and are actually serious then you can join their campaign.
257  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who controls the Bitcoin system? on: April 18, 2018, 11:24:15 AM
Bitcoin is a decentralized currency which means no one controls the entire system. You as a user control your own coins just like other users which does not put power in the hands of a single person. This is why the governments are against it because there is no way for them to control which means there is no way for them to control the users and what they do with their money.
258  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people need to use Bitcoin for Money laundering? on: April 17, 2018, 10:31:29 AM
All currencies are used for money laundering no matter what or how they are. Bitcoin is just one of the currencies and if bitcoin didn't exist there will still be people laundering money. People will always find a way to launder money although I don't think it is very easy to launder money using bitcoin since you still have to cash out the money at some point and still use banks,
259  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who do you think take biggest responsibility on making the prices fall? on: April 13, 2018, 11:00:04 AM
It will have to be the balance between supply and demand in the market which means that when supply surpasses demand in the market then the prices will  be going down because there aren't enough people buying off the supply to balance out the market so prices drop but once demand starts picking up and people start buying it up then prices start to climb back up again.
260  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to kill Bitcoin? on: April 11, 2018, 09:25:11 AM
If you really wanted to kill bitcoin then there would be two ways to do it most efficiently.
1) You would have to find a way to shut off electricity in the world so there would be no way to power our devices and gadgets so there will be no way to get to our bitcoins.
2) You would have to find a way to shut off internet in the world so there is no way for anyone to be online and there will be no way to access our bitcoins and carry out transactions.
