241  Economy / Economics / Re: Why You Should Never Sell Your Bitcoins Ever on: March 17, 2016, 06:43:31 PM
the reality of the fact is no matter how much you want bitcoin take over fiat currency it wont. At least not in anyone's lifetime that is posting on this thread. So yes i will sell my bitcoin when i feel it has reached a point i am willing to cash out. Remember bitcoin only has a value as long as there is a fiat currency to exchange it with.

look at it this way:
1 can of coke is $ .50
1 can of coke is .0012 btc at todays price per btc/usd

what does a can of coke sell for in the world where btc is the only currency?

you can hope and dream that btc will take over the world but as the saying goes you can hope in one hand and s**t in the other. see which one fills up first.

ps. all those of you that say you would never sell are only lying to yourselves. if tomorrow the price hit 20k per btc and you could cash out and never have to work ever again your telling me you wouldnt. LIE.

you would think 400A service you can use 400A.

if it were me i would keep them all running until they can provide documentation that proves you cant.

if possible strong arm them into letting you run all your machines and not increasing your rates. it they dont want to play ball switch power companies.  ive been looking around lately cus AEP basicly doubles my bill with their fees and "transmission" charges. im waiting for the day when they show up to try and increase my rates or call the cops thinking im growing.

how can they justify putting you on the higher rate if you arent running a business.

depending where you live tell them you are growing weed or have multiple tanning beds.

the suspects must at least be readers of the thread since they are trying to hide who they are. just give up hiding and leave, kano will find you.

i say out the thieves and give them the ban hammer.

excuse me for my ignorance, but why are these users playing "hide and seek".
if they are up to no good then we don't need them.
i would like to know what are these guys up to?
Are they spying, stealing, planting a hack, what?

check kanos post from the previous page. post #12939

And, both parties (the sender & the receiver) should to honest to each other. If, done correctly, i think the only person who will stand the chance to lose in this game is paypal!
First smart guy here on the forum....despite the fact there is still a big misunderstanding about how pp works with debt collection. +1
Which would mean you commit fraud against PayPal, something that is illegal almost everywhere on the globe.
Since illegal things are against the forum rules, this thread would hence violate said rules.

......nobody is catching it yet.....but always the same stupid accusations.

If you haven't the brain to understand something very basic, then at least don't expose that much your weakness.

instead of putting down the people that could end up being part of the group. why not just shed some light on this.

Hey, I just joined Kano,,  new to mining -- initially set up at Antpool,, but after reading a little here, i've pointed my little S7 to Kano in the interest of decentralisation

Just 1 question  -- Why does it show 4.9thz on my miner - but 4.4thz on the pool?

as others have said the pool will show share rate and hash rate in the worker chart. But it also depends on what number you are looking at on your miner.

Are you reading the "live" hash or the average hash?

you could try to OC the miner if you are wanting to push more power (or just buy a avalon (since they seem to have blocks falling out of them)). just remember its a balance between power/rated speed and hw errors. sometimes higher th isnt always better.

This past weekend dry spell - was it just luck (or lack of) or technical? Both?
Red blocks should be expected from time to time, did you think there were technical problems during the runs of green blocks?

Luck and variance, variance and luck.

Or people stopped eating chicken.

i think the fact that those large red blocks are not the norm and the fact that we had a few of them more recently lately is what was causing the concern and then kano saying that he was doing some investigations add the spark that caused the panic.

now that we are getting back to green all is calm. the village people have put up their pitchforks and torchs and gone back to tending the fields.

what i find funny is that you keep saying we are not professional traders.

what do you define as a professional trader? someone that day trades currencies for a living? or someone like you that scams people for a living by "trading" peoples stolen money into btc and leaving the patsy to hold the bag?

254  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Best sha-256 solomining pools =) on: March 16, 2016, 03:05:36 AM
agreed cksolo pool the best solo "pool" to be on.

as far as alt coin you could try x11 that's still gpu based. i mine x11 when im not gaming on my rig, but i don't leave it on. its more so just to mine while afk for food or taking a break from a game.
255  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [PPS multipool] NiceHash.com pool - higher profits than direct mining BTC! on: March 14, 2016, 08:42:37 PM
an old crap miner will never hit a block where as an s7 or avalon 6 may hit several

Do you actually believe there is such thing as "quality share"?  Cheesy

Sure AntMiner S7 has higher chances of hitting a block, but merely due to the fact that is faster than "an old crap miner like AntMiner S1" and it thus processes more shares ... and more shares means more chances to hit a block. But there is no such think as quality of a share. And if you rent hashing power on NiceHash these shares are coming from real miners and are as "quality" as those from using directly any physical miners.

laugh all you want but your statement just proved my point. an s7 will put out more shares at this higher diff then an old s1, therefore those s7 shares are of higher quality as they are closer/more likely to hit the required #. take a look at the blocks found on the ckpool thread when is the last one found with an old miner, ages and ages ago.

again you are confused about how bitcoin mining works..

it doesnt matter if you have 1000 1 ghs miners, or 1 1000ghs miner, you will produce the same amount of shares and have the SAME chance at finding a block.

ya sure.. believe what you want. check the stats. when was the last block found by a 1gh miner vs that of a 1000gh miner.

chill guys. he will send the payments when he can. its not the end of the world.

if your living btc payment to btc payment perhaps taking a day off from your spending will be a good thing.
258  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [PPS multipool] NiceHash.com pool - higher profits than direct mining BTC! on: March 14, 2016, 04:18:51 PM
but there is still the fact that they are assigning underpowered crap to be the miners of these contracts.

yes the number of shares may even out over the length of contract and that is fine if you mining to a pool and that pool pays for your submitted shares. but when you are solo mining its not so much about the number of shares but the quality of those shares submitted. an old crap miner will never hit a block where as an s7 or avalon 6 may hit several.

i will be using mrr from now on for my rentals. it might be a touch more expensive but at least i know that when i set a contract for an s7 worth of hash power i will be getting an s7.
259  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin is officially dead on: March 14, 2016, 04:00:33 PM
Rise chikun! Kiddin, this one's a dead chikun, plucked and boiled.

How would you know what that means ?
You obviously have been doing this 3+ years..
yet what do we see here ?

NXT + IOTA support, Trolling and ETH hype.
You seem to be following around the same 3 guys too.

Ignore those jealous fools. Let them waste their money and let them buy shit IPO scam PRe-Mine coins like Ether.
That SHITCOIN is only traded on false, shady exchanges operating from sheds; Poloniex. It even sounds like a disease... Ehehe, Polio.

Litecoin will recover, no doubt. ANyone questioning this is a delusional fool.

Well recover or not it seems pretty stable at 0.008 ltc to btc (was higher but some of that is the ethereum and other side issues bleeding some cash away imho)

and I'm mining ltc (720mh 225 ltc a month equip has roi'd) at 98c per LTC vs Electric

but anyway my angle and my point is .....this tethering to btc price at the above SEEMS pretty solid at this time yet ...even with all the ethereum hype

(to be truthful I put 1 btc into the lisk ico ..the javascrypt open dapp......27k of coin so it says now....so I'm hardly one to talk..bye bye 1btc a weak willed moment) Sad

but anyway there may be SOMETHING TO BE SAID about the above 0.008 ratio just being stable with all the hoopla in crypto with diff flavors of btc devs/ethereum etc etc

Bitcoin and Litecoin are the only 2 stable coins, which says a lot. Literally all other shitcoins in the crypto universum are going up and experience extreme volatility.

BTC & LTC being stable is a good sign; it distinguishes the serious coins from the SHIT SCAM COINS (like Ether)

Just face the reality. Litecoin is dead because the litecoin price is not moving at all, it's means even in trading we can't earn good amount of money.

Altcoins that are extremely volatile is very good if you want to earn everyday in trading.

Do you have any economic knowledge. steady is good. stability means its can be adopted for commerce.

and who the hell day trades alt coins, if you have the money/knowledge you day trade fiat currency on the forex exchange.

wolfen.  This is strange, we are both right!

When I go to http://bitmain.com and click on their link to buy a S7 batch 8, the price is 2.49 btc or $1,031.31

When I go to http://bitmaintech.com, as you said, the price there is $1.607 btc or $665 for a batch 12 to be shipped on March 19.

Is http://bitmain.com some type of scam site?  I wonder.  This is strange.  I'm not really in the market to buy a S7 right now.  I have
several and many are not running 100%.

Buyer beware.

Tom
hello,

Here's I just had on their site:
https://enshop.bitmain.com/productDetail.htm?pid=00020160307020331375uYwfnI5D06C6
Price:       665 USD  ( 1.613 BTC )

So I believe this is just fine.

I must be going nuts.  Actually that happened a long time ago.

When I go to https://enshop.bitmain.com/productDetail.htm?pid=000201511170341298180m44675v0613
I get:

ANTMINER S7 BATCH 8 - Shipped out within 5 days with full payment
ANTMINER S7 BATCH 8 - Shipped out within 5 days with full payment

Speed:    4.73TH/S

Weight:    4.5 kg

Price:       2.49 BTC
               ( 1030.76 USD )

I get there by simply going to http://bitmain.com and clicking on the big "Buy Now" link for the S7 at the top of the page.

Looks like it has the enshop proceeding the address, strange. secondly the are not selling the batch 8 on the main site.

Looks like i might have to change my lunch plans so that i can eat come chicken so we can have a few blocks fall into out laps.
