FYI i left a message up on the minerpools IRC letting them know their is likely a cronjob not running to credit block rewards... I am not worried as it is just a calc process not running and when they restart it... everyone will get paid.

Hi Everyone, http://btcd.minerpools.com is back up and running, we once again were ddosed like yesterday. I will lower the fees to 0.2% for the next 6 hours to compensate for this latest downtime. Thank you for your trust. EDIT: Once again let me apologize for this issue, even though we had again another downtime your coins and accounts are safe. Something seems very wrong. I have been mining on this pool since yesterday and I understand you went down a few hours ago but appears that I am not receiving anything for my hashing anymore....last hour says 0 and not sure when it stopped but I would like to have what I earned please. Anybody else not getting coins for blocks found? Yeah man me too. Im hearing dis ting pinging away every time it finds a block but no reward !!!! Relax... I just set 5 TH back to this pool and I already have unconfirmed balance... if anything... minerpools will see these comments soon and find out what is happening... thus far they have fixed any issues that have arisen and will do so again. |

Math is your friend. If there are 115200 BTCD minted per day... and there is 100 TH/s on the network right now... how many coins do you get per TH/s? Now if you get the right rental... how much do you have to sell each BTCD for in order to recoup paying .032 BTC per TH/s per day? |

Hi Mate, sorry for the downtime, check again, the site is back!. Yes... and I am glad! TYVM for fixing this. Just to be honest though... from a stratum connect POV it was more like just about 75 minutes down... shows 9:45 GMT when i had the DC to 11 GMT when that chunk of payment came in and I was able to reconnect. |

meh... this isnt dumping... dumping would be selling below 2500 satoshis to break even on mining costs... selling at 20K and 10K just makes me happy to break even and have left over coins.

Ok that all looks groovy and legit... so unless the coins have been consolidated to one address... they all reside in unique addresses minted in these first 304 blocks from June through this last Thursday and todays first public block was found today at launch. |

No, only 1.5% of the PoW phase was pre mined...304 blocks...some miners will likely have more than that after PoW is done. We need the pre-mine to develop the coin. Can you post address where the premine is kept? Yes this! And the total is not clearly stated on the OP... it just says 1.5% and total is 22M coins... makes it sound like what I posted. so it is 24320 BTCD... did you have the first 304 blocks mined... thought I saw someone say block 100 was passing as they got synced and started mining... |

80*60*24 = 115200 BTCD per day.
Now look at nethash... right now it sits at 171TH/s which means... 1 TH/s that yields about .03 BTC per day average would net ~674 BTCD at current mining rates.
That means to make it dead even with BTC earnings in a day, a single BTCD is worth at least 4451 Satoshis.
BUT... the network is growing, and will continue to grow... you should be able to deduce a price using the numbers above and current nethashrate.

Somehow the wallet.dat ended up in the recycling...no idea how but so thankful for all of your help!!!

Good to hear... now make a copy of that wallet and store it somewhere... hell I usually put the main wallets im holding long term to my drive account (encrypted of course) just dont lose that file or the password you use to encrypt. |

I tried the private key dump and i says Private key for address is not known (code -4)
That is because you no longer have the wallet.dat associated with that address. You need to find out if your AV or something else quarantined that wallet.dat file. Otherwise... if you lost that file... you lost those coins. |
