241  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why do many people fail in trade? on: February 18, 2024, 01:30:52 PM
People may fail in their trades but it won’t mean that they will keep on losing until the end. Trading can be learned most especially if you take most of your time learning trading, and it’s normal to see initial losses since you are still in the process of learning, what is not normal is that if you end up quitting without recovering your previous losses. That is not the mindset of a real trader, as trader never quits but will continue to master his craft until he’ll end up successful and profitable.
It's true but only some traders understand this and those traders are the ones who have started trading with a clear mindset that they will learn it from top to bottom so that they can earn constant profits from it. Some traders, especially new ones, would start trading with a different mindset and approach, thinking they will get a lot of profit in a short period which makes them make quick and reckless trades by following signals and suggestions from here and there without doing any research or understanding the market.

Such are the people that when failed will stop trading immediately blaming and abusing the market as well as the people that have provided them signals and suggestions without thinking that it was their mistake and they need to blame themselves.
242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I believe this might be the Binance's new bitcoin - maybe a 1000$ per token on: February 17, 2024, 06:22:41 PM
What you guys think? Thanks for reading this long post.
We think that none of your details, information, and promises in this long post have successfully convinced us to invest in this project of yours, and we think that it's all rubbish that every single meme coin and shit coin creator utters to lure people into buying the token so that it gets some hype and so that they can eventually earn some money by selling the tokens to the investors but it isn't that easy.

I know that you think that since Bitcoin has a low supply, it has managed to gain great value and if your token has a low supply, it might have the same fate, but it is not just the supply that matters, your token doesn't serve any purpose, it's useless and people don't buy and store useless tokens.
243  Economy / Speculation / Re: What do you think? Lump sum vs DCA best accumulation strategy. on: February 17, 2024, 05:40:21 PM
this question has been asked before about which is better dca or lump sump, and people's answers may vary depending on their condition, some may prefer dca or lump sump. but i see that the important thing is not how someone chooses their investment method, because either lump sump or dca is equally good, depending on where investors can position their finances. but the most important thing is how investors can be consistent with their investments and can set their long-term goals when investing and how their risks are managed. because most people only focus on which investment method is the best, and ignore these things, even though they are much more important than just the lump sump or dca investment method.
Yeah, both have their merits and demerits, as you mentioned, and it depends on individual targets, financial goals, and knowledge and experience about the market. And, since we all know that the cryptocurrency market is highly volatile and unpredictable, this makes the DCA method more suitable and viable based on how the market moves in general.

Those who have no knowledge and experience about the market will barely get any benefits from making lumpsum investments because they will barely be able to time the market perfectly or at least well so that they can get good returns on their investments and their investments don't start losing value right after they are done. However, those who have enough knowledge and experience might find this method useful because they know they can time the market pretty well and earn more profit this way.
244  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will this stack make me a USD millionaire? on: February 17, 2024, 11:23:23 AM
How much BTC and ETH would you think you need, in order to have a FUTURE (next years?) 1 million allocation to crypto's bluechips BTC and ETH while keeping the ratio 1:10, meaning 1 BTC and 10 ETH, 2 BTC and 20 ETH and so on
For example I think
By end of 2025 with 7 BTC and 70 ETH you will have a one million USD exposure to crypto
People are hoping for Bitcoin to hit $100k and go across it this upcoming bull run, and if that happens, and if the bull run starts by the end of 2024 and continues throughout the year 2025, then you might have over $1m worth of cryptocurrencies with those holdings. However, if Bitcoin doesn't manage to go around that price, it will be hard for that to happen and you will have to wait until the next bull run which might bring higher all-time highs.

Bitcoin has been going up constantly for the past few days which might be the starting point of some great action because we are yet to see any noticeable correction which could indicate that the market will go further down from here and we will have to wait more for bull run.
245  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: February 16, 2024, 06:42:33 PM
It's not only rumor even barcelona has sent him an ultimatum to leave from the club too. I think that it's only matter of time till we will be seeing that if de joong to leave from barcelona. There have been several clubs were sending him offer and it's clear that if barcelona will be trying to sell him coz the club is in the needs of money to buy the new players.
People were also understanding the situation in the barcelona. I hope that de jong will not be so harsh with it. he needs to consider leave from the club as soon as possible. it will help barcelona to get fresh fund to get the new players instead of defending him to stay in the club.
barcelona is in a very difficult situation caused by the club has been so wasteful with its money. I hope that the fans can undernstand if he will be leaving from there.
Due to financial issues Barcelona management trying to cut players which are having huge salaries just because of this trying their best for offloading De Jong, but he wants Barcelona clear his all dues then he will leave, and this issue is running for last few years with Bayern Munich and Manchester United both were trying their best for having De Jong, but he rejected to leave now again before end of this season we are having him in news most chances now things will be turned into good for the player and Barcelona because they can take good price of De Jong which can help them for having few new players with low salary which is also good.

De Jong is currently 26 years old and still have good time ahead with still few top clubs are hunting for him hopefully he will change his mind, and we will have him in any other club with most chances PSG and Tottenham are trying their best but right now nothing is clear who could be able to do this all.
246  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Isn’t it better late than sorry? on: February 16, 2024, 05:18:03 PM
Now Bitcoin is not entirely new to me, I’ve heard it come up a few times and only now have I built an increasing desire to know the pros and cons about it. I’ve had to invest in various things in the past, online and offline, have my share of profit and loss but, I so don’t want to loss. Especially a loss that might amount out of my ignorance, that would be most painful although, I get the fact that lessons would be learned from such experience on how costly ignorance could be.

Here I am, not a single Bitcoin tide to my name, am not so proud about it especially, being here where I just have the vague idea that, the members here just might have so much. I guess what I’m looking out for is a sense of security and some comfort that, it’s really better late than sorry.
If you are employed, or self-employed, or have any sort of income source and getting money regularly then there is nothing to think about at this point. Just have a small percentage of your total income dedicated to your Bitcoin investments and buy Bitcoin with it whenever you get paid, it's called the DCA method where you keep buying after short intervals and keep accumulating.

Remember one thing, there is no perfect time to enter the market because it's highly unpredictable and volatile, so you can't know where the market will go next. That's why, just buy in portions, so that you don't regret not buying at all if the price goes up and you can always buy more if the price goes down.
247  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: February 14, 2024, 04:53:43 PM
Previously Maguire was widely mocked because he often made blunders but now see from the last few matches he has become an important pillar of Man United's defense and Erik Ten Hag always plays him as the main defense, I also see him playing nicely so he can get better.

Well the goalkeeper as the last barrier but I admit Andre Onana's performance was quite good yesterday, I don't doubt him but will he appear more confident again? If so then Onana needs a long adaptation if he is to impress.

So far, Man United's defense is much better than before.
Suddenly we have few positive things for the Manchester United with their few players were mocked badly now turning into good and having good results which are quite surprising with things are surely taking change even this all is late but still we can give them good fair chance for having better things in coming weeks in last few matches we have good performance and results from these both which were doing all problems.

Ten Hag faith is now giving them good reward, and we have good results for the team with their best performance even points difference is good, but now their change can cur this all or no going to be wide open in coming weeks because in last season they have same and achieve so now again can they do this all.
248  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: February 13, 2024, 05:46:55 PM
Copenhagen - M.City game is tonight. M.City will win this game with a different score tonight. Copenhagen is the easy team for them.

RB Leipzig - Real Madrid, Real Madrid will win this game. It could be an exciting and enjoyable game, I will watch this game tonight.
Yes, of course many people see that the quality of Manchester City and Real Madrid players is far above the average of their opponents and these two teams are in extraordinary performance. Surely it will be very easy for them to win the match this time. But remember, don't underestimate your opponent too much, even if your opponent doesn't look strong, anything can happen in football. Even though RB Leipzig and Copenhagen are playing at their own headquarters, it certainly increases the enthusiasm or stamina of each player.
On papers, currently performance in last few games clearly indicating we will have Real Madrid and Manchester City as winners in these games but still things have never been easy for every team because we can expect resistance from both home teams which will play in front of their fans and try to give their best specially RB Leipzig which is facing some problems in last few matches and now having 5th spot in Bundesliga which is not good position for them.

RB Leipzig if facing problems in their defense which can create problems because Real Madrid is having lethal attack so in this game we can expect over2.5 as well with in second game Copenhagen is surely going to have defensive mod because they will try to not allow Manchester City attack for having any serious trouble for them.
249  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What traders must know on: February 13, 2024, 04:18:42 PM
However, I think the most important concern is learning on how to control your emotions. Not all traders are capable to control their emotions even those long time traders in the market. This is the reason why despite of their expertise, they still experience inevitable losses due to high emotions that they fail to avoid.
That's true, The FOMO falls in the same category and it's a very dangerous thing for a trader. Traders, mostly new ones, make the mistake of buying cryptocurrencies at the wrong time, when they see those straight-up candles they feel that they are missing out on huge profits, and they make an entry unaware of the fact that they are entering the market when others are already exiting and they are providing exit liquidity for those taking profit.

Such practices often make traders lose a lot of money, I experienced this as well when I was new in the market. I didn't know much and when I saw a coin going straight up, I thought I would enter and exit very quickly just taking a few hundred bucks in profit, but it started dropping as soon as I entered, and never went back up to where I bought.
250  Economy / Economics / Re: The savings problem on: February 13, 2024, 11:24:52 AM
I've observed a common trend among people around me prioritizing spending over saving. They often spend their income on immediate wants, like frequent cafe visits, leaving them with little to nothing for saving at the end of the month. This suggests that the issue might not be an inability to save, but rather a choice to prioritize immediate gratification. Unfortunately, this can sometimes lead to lifestyle-related debt.
Interesting, that's exactly what I recently observed in my environment. During Corona, many people saved money because many governments set up support programs and people couldn't spend their money. Now that the pandemic is over, people are craving life and consumption again and are spending even more than they did before corona. In addition, the economy is still stable in many countries, so many people feel they are financially secure. By the time the next major economic crisis hits, this will level out again and savings rates will rise again.
Different ways for different people living in different regions of the world. Some overspend because they can afford to do it and they have economic security because of their government. On the other hand, some are compelled to spend more than they may earn because of economic situations and increasing inflation, in such countries and regions, people barely earn enough to be able to fulfil the monthly expenses of their household and are compelled to borrow money now and then.

Situations are not the same for the whole world, which is unfortunate. This is the biggest reason why a lot of people migrate from one place to another, it's only with the hope that they might get a better life if they get out of the current situation.
251  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies be aware, don't fall into the trap of getting high ROI in Bull Market on: February 13, 2024, 08:33:05 AM
My neighbor said that while doing P2P trading on Binance, one stranger got very comfortable with her. That stranger gave her a tempting offer, he told to her about a system of earning 300 to 400 dollars daily by investing 3000 to 4000 dollars. My neighbor valued his words very much as she had always dealt with that person through Binance P2P. Point to be noted that the stranger was a verified P2P merchant and deposited a significant amount of assets as collateral, that's why my neighbor slowly started to believe his words gradually(It didn't happen overnight, it happened gradually over months).

At one point, the stranger was able to convince her to invest $4,000 with him. After this, the real story begins, the profit is far from being given, and the date of returning his dollars is getting delayed by telling various stories. At one point, he pretended to be unable to return the dollar, using the excuse of an accident. After talking to Binance support, it was found out that such an incident has happened to many people, and although they held a significant amount of collateral they were unable to help cause the incident happened outside of Binance.
I feel pity for those who fall for these scams and believe their words thinking they can make a lot of money in no time without doubting how good it all sounds, I mean how can you believe someone saying that you will get the return on your investment in just 10 days while your initial investment stays safe? If earning money was that easy, everyone would take a loan, earn a bunch of money, and then return the loan within a couple of weeks and then have their own money.

$400 a day with just a $4,000 investment is too good to be true, and anyone with a little IQ should know it, but I understand that they trap you in a way that you lose the ability to think critically or doubt them and their words. They are expert in doing these things and people that are naive get trapped easily.
252  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: February 12, 2024, 06:52:53 PM
Bayern Munich management must expect Tuchel to improve Bayern Munich performance both in Bundesliga and UCL. He shouldn't be hired to win UCL only, Bundesliga is also very important for Bayern Munich. In Bundesliga, Leverkusen is leading with 5 points, the chance to win the trophy is a bit smaller now. But in UCL, Bayern Munich still have the same chance as other teams to win the trophy. Well, Tuchel may focus a bit on UCL, but I think he won't reduce the efforts to catch Leverkusen in Bundesliga table.
Leverkusen's consistent performances in the Bundesliga so far certainly make it a tough task for Bayern Munich to win the Bundesliga title. Bayern Munich are trying but they can't close the points gap with Leverkusen. The 5 point gap between the two teams is too much in the way Bayern Munich and Leverkusen are currently competing. Bayan Munich should not only win their next matches but also expect them to win the next matches so that Leverkusen loses against other teams. If Leverkusen loses points against other teams and Bayan Munich regularly gets points, then the points gap between the two teams will narrow.

Tuchel should change his strategy and improve his performance because it is very difficult for this team to do well in the Champions League with this kind of performance.
I feel like it is not going to be easy for Bayern to close that gap anymore, it looks like we are going to end up with something different for the first time in a decade, Leverkusen could win the title. I get that it is going to be crazy to see something like this and people are still worried about it, but I think it is going to be close to a point where we could end up with a good win over everyone else.

In the end, we are going to be doing something that will benefit everyone because Bayern dominating is not fun, there will be more viewers thanks to some other team getting it, which would mean more advertisement money since there are more people watching it. I doubt it will continue later on though, next season Leverkusen will not be this good.
253  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cashless Socity and Contribution of Bitcoin! on: February 12, 2024, 06:04:43 PM
To be realistic Bitcoin isn't helpful for cashless payment systems right now, and it won't be. Due to high transaction fees and long waiting times, merchants won't accept Bitcoin payments. But the traditional cashless system worked instantly and with no fee. In my country, the Mobile Finance System (MFS) has become most popular. You don't need to carry cash, and every shop now offers an MFS payment system. The fees are too low compared to bitcoin. Bitcoin would help the P2P global payment system. I don't imagine Bitcoin would be used like cashless payments everywhere unless it solved transaction problems.
Bitcoin was never created for this purpose, it was created to solve the peer-to-peer payment problems that traditional payment systems have due to their centralized nature and the problems they cause now and then. If Bitcoin was created to become a system to be used by merchants for cashless payments, I'm pretty sure that Satoshi would have created it differently, with a different consensus and a different mining system and the fees and transaction times would have been different for sure.

If we look closely, Bitcoin is serving the purpose it was created for because you can still send and receive payments way more conveniently than traditional banking systems and with lower fees, especially if the transactions are international. It has also become one of the most used investment assets of the world today which is an extra benefit it is providing to us.
254  Economy / Economics / Re: Coping with Risk. on: February 12, 2024, 03:18:32 PM
Investing in bitcoins exposes you to technological risks, such as hacking and errors in cryptocurrency management. On the other hand, a physical business entails risks like fires, thefts, and market changes. Each of these options has its unique challenges, and people have different preferences. For example, older individuals tend to be skeptical about cryptocurrency, while the younger generation embraces new and innovative concepts and may take risks.
That's true, however, if we look closely and be honest about everything, there are more earning opportunities online these days than offline, and one can earn more money with less investment online while physical businesses and investments require more money and more effort and return of investment takes more time than it might take for online businesses or investments. Risks are present on both sides, and precautions must be taken for any business you start.

In my opinion, the severity of risks depends on a person's understanding of the area and niche they are getting into. A businessman managing businesses in the world will have a hard time starting an online business unless they hire specialists for it. Similarly, someone who has a better grasp on online stuff will barely be able to manage a physical business because of a lack of understanding.
255  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Turkish Super League 2023/24 Season on: February 11, 2024, 07:49:32 PM
Fenerbache having big troubles against alaynspor, lets see how it ended but they are pushing a lot without so much succes, and also receiving two goals from a few attacks of the rival.

Galatasaray is rubbing hands right now hoping to see fenerbache droping points today, last minutes of the game remains.
Fenerbahçe having second draw into their last five games with this now Galatasaray is also going to lead by two points and having good edge after 25 rounds because this is tough time for the teams to keep things at their level but sadly Fenerbahçe chocking at wrong time with 21 shots on goal but still not achieve their best which is surely the worst thing happen, and they have to face consequences for this as well their attack which was their weapon fail to give them anything positive with just 8 goals from last five games and having 11 points which are indicating now Galatasaray is going to stay at the top and Fenerbahçe have to wait for their weak matches otherwise they are already at the second spot.
256  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do I buy illiquid tokens? on: February 11, 2024, 05:39:52 PM
Why are you buying illiquid tokens on dex, they always ends up been dumped and worthless tokens with low buy order, also since uniswap mostly lists ERC 20 based token, do you think you can cover up the Ethereum fee.

I just checked some tokens on coingecko. They are green but for some reason whenever I try to buy the tokens on uniswap, I get the message "Insufficient liquidity". I even messaged support and they told me there wasn't liquidity. They stated afterwards that it is always possible to buy illiquid tokens. They did'nt tell me how I can do that however...
This should already be the reasons why you shouldn't bother getting illiquid tokens, they already a dumbed market with low buy order that'll probably never get filled up. It's best you look out for more liquidated assets for your own good.
Just above your post, he already said the reason for it. Iliquid tokens seems already been dumped, so I think he shouldn't worry about that and maybe they will be pumped by someone else ex. Whales. This could be the reason on why the OP wants them. If not, there is still a chance or a risk for these tokens to get de-listed on the exchange. He is planning to buy before, though IDK if it was successful or not, but the point is that he seems to not care about the high fee.

If you are the ones who are buying the token, the order should went thru as long as you agree about the price. @OP have you tried the Currency exchange section of our forum? Or you can also try inquiring at the Marketplace (Altcoins).
257  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Just bought FBTC in my 401k. First time ever holding crypto for retirement. on: February 11, 2024, 09:26:33 AM
Sounds good, if there are more people investing in Bitcoin, However as I have always said, I would love if people could directly invest in the Bitcoin and try to own the actual stuff rather than just buying it in some form of ETFs. I understand that there might be some benefits for buying ETFs which I do not understand or know of, but I would simply purchase Bits directly. Retirement plan is a must!
They probably don't like to manage the bitcoins themselves, that's why they do ETFs, that's probably the reason and also there's the fact that it will also grow together with the company I think but it's definitely a better thing if they just go for bitcoin. I haven't thought much about retirement but I do hope that I can get there somewhere, with all the bills that I need to pay right now, I don't have the luxury to save right now.
They don't want to, not because they are busy and lazy but as the OP said, they trust the company more than himself. I think ETF's aren't the only one that offers this but there might be others before, however this ETF might be more known and safer than them.

Growing together with the company seems cool and it gives us a good feeling but the only problem is, if the company collapses, our BTC's or invested amounts are also going to be in danger. This is the risk of doing it. Retirement plans like that were most of the times offered by the company we are working with, but if you are self-employed and you are still struggling financially, you may want to less prioritize them for a while.
258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you love and enjoy taking risk? on: February 10, 2024, 05:29:03 PM
Risk is as good as taking it when it works in our favour, but when we took risk and don't know the reason why we are taking that as it all ends in bad luck that we loose, then we will conclude in saying that taking risk is not worth it and there's nothing like joy after which it cost us, so what I will advise in this is for us to take risk which we can be able to bear and afford, then we should also consider the both side of taking the risk if we can afford either.
If you want something to achieve you need to take a risk but there are just things that no matter how much you try it seems impossible to get. The feeling is disappointing but it's more sad if we didn't try. On the other hand, the feeling is superb if our efforts pay off. It's weird if you are doing a thing and you suddenly ask on what's the point of it. There must be a reason on why we are on that situation.

If we don't know our capacity, it's always better to start at the lowest level and just gradually elevate it once you think you are not struggling on the current or previous one. There are also losses apart from winning and it's important to accept both of them, so that things aren't going to be hard.
259  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Buy ideas on: February 10, 2024, 04:51:23 PM
One thing I learnt so far, is Buying of ideas, since no man on planet earth can claim to be too knowledgeable on all aspect of live, deeping down to Bitcoin and its blockchain, everybody should strive to be symbiotic in nature, accepting ideas, not just all but selecting that which is necessary and beneficial to his journey, no belittling of any one's ideas as it may be the solution to our problems.
It's true that when it comes to certain things, different ideas can be very useful. For instance, if you are about to do something, you might know just one way of doing that, but if you collect suggestions and ideas from 5 to 10 different people, you might discover different ways of doing the same thing.

This is the reason why they say that you should ask and listen to everyone and then decide which is the best way to go based on what you are trying to achieve. If you like an idea someone else gave you, you should go for that instead of doing what you were thinking initially.

When it comes to Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, it is essential for a person to collect and gain ideas and suggestions before doing anything, whether it's about selecting a wallet, an exchange platform, buying a certain cryptocurrency, or doing anything else.
260  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies how do you feel when your post is criticised. on: February 10, 2024, 01:21:32 PM
For me Criticism is a process of learning because when ever I am been criticised I usually seize the opportunity to add more knowledge because I often see it as a corrective measures to widen my horizon .
That's the right way to take criticism, despite the tone of the person criticizing you or your post, you shouldn't take that personally and start personal conflicts between yourself and senior forum users because you won't get anything positive out of that. Even if a newbie thinks that they aren't wrong and are being criticized without any reason, they are still supposed to accept the criticism and respond with respect because that will show how mannerly they are.

You don't get small or lose your respect if someone criticizes you and accept it with grace. So newbies need not take this personally and just respond with respect so that they are given more respect the next time by the same users that have criticized them earlier.
