241  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Legendary Memeber defaulted 60$ Loan [chaser15] on: May 01, 2024, 04:56:22 PM
He just ruined legendary account from 2015, but account probably changed hands since than.
You see the strategy here is that they had multiple accounts running signature campaigns and earning from those triple of quadruple of what the honest users have been making every week. Previously it was easy to gain activity without merit and rank up all these accounts.

Now as merit is in place, they cant rank up their new alt accounts to easily, but their spending habits have not changed, so they need quick money and for that they make the lenders their scapegoat and milk out money from them.

If you think of it like that, it makes complete sense as why they are destroying their old accounts at a cost and running only one possible legitimate account for campaigns.

242  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do not get discouraged by the current price of Bitcoin on: May 01, 2024, 04:49:46 PM
Since the price is seeing new lows after the all time high and this is just the start of a month, there is panic selling happening with the dumping and making it seem its all going bad. This is nothing new and it will happen in every bear run.

You cant stop people from saying bad and from dumping their coins at a loss during such periods. Our target is to increase our stash of coins and hence we have to buy at the low when the dropping rate aka deceleration reduces, so you will be buying at a discount from the weak hands.

Let the prices fall, make money from prediction games predicting these losses and dont fret, because cycles are the normal thing in crypto. Cool
243  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The first online cryptocurrency Casinos, when/who? on: May 01, 2024, 04:43:52 PM
A simple search resulted in this website having some lists:
https://www.cryptolists.com/learn/bitcoin-casino-history/

It says that in 2012 the first bitcoin casino that was launched was satoshi-dice. It is safe to say that rest of them came out after this one. I remember back in 2016 when I joined, yolodice was going to get shut down in the next few years while primedice was going to the top with bitsler being the upcoming popular one.

Above site gives a lot of insight in the early days, worth a read.

Edit: Oshosondy has already linked it, but that text after the link made me scroll past it. Grin
244  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Paper Betting- Would You Consider it if you Were to Start Sports betting Again on: May 01, 2024, 04:35:37 PM
Okay, so gambling without using a real money might be differenet from gambling that you risk a real money, but paper betting* is still very useful to us gambler as we test the water before we actually do gamble. If your result is positive, meaning profitable, that means you are good at choosing the winning bets, but of course it doesn't replicate your actual experience, however, since you have achieve positive result already it is a good sign that you can achieve that when you are in actual  gambling, you just have to control your emotion and be discipline all the time.
The difference is that it does not guarantee what is going to happen in the future. You might win or lose some paper bets, but the upcoming bets where you are wagering in real money might not be all wins. Testing the game and all might be one thing but this is what is different from paper trading.

Of course in sports betting where skills are involved they can be like practice bets. I am not sure how much it actually helps though. Most gamblers are just ready to jump in without thinking.
245  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Does your Sig-Camp Manager counts gambling posts that moved to off topic on: May 01, 2024, 04:31:47 PM
Luckily, My manager is one of the best manager that consider effort of post when this kind of shit happened. You’re that 1 missed post is worthy for a consideration to receive partial payment due to the effort done.
I still dont see the reason not to do some extra posts in sections that you normally visit. A number of surplus posts are only helping the site that you are promoting and in case a bunch of your posts get moved you have some buffer to save yourself from missing out a week's payment. Managers may be generous in this regard but participants should not take their generosity for granted.

I usually keep a count of my posts every few days and before the week ends so I am making extra posts beyond my weekly quota.

247  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Should trades be closed only when the market is bullish? on: April 30, 2024, 03:35:04 PM
A tendency arises among us. When the value of Bitcoin increases a lot, we start trading more. Which puts our trade management in jeopardy, during which most of the time people face loss.
Thats called FOMO and the selling that occurs when bitcoin value drops a lot is the opposite of it. This is common and something you can see during every cycle.

The thing to take advantage of is the high selling price that you can get when the price is at the top and people are FOMO buying, so you can dump on them at a high price and hold that USDT for when the price drops, people will panic sell and you can use the USDT to buy at a discounted price.

So yes trades should be closed/sold when the market is bullish and opened/bought when the market is down.
248  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Suddenly I'm curious, do I need to pay taxes on Bitcoin income? on: April 30, 2024, 03:32:06 PM
Follow what your country's taxation policy on bitcoin is. Most countries have taxes on Capital gains which incurs when you sell an article and your have some gains from that trade. If you need help, get in touch with a chartered accountant and they can help your file your returns. Dont ignore taxes because they will hunt you after years for unpaid taxes.

Some countries have exuberant taxes on bitcoin, I wish these governments would improve their outlook for once.
249  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports betting for reality not club affection on: April 30, 2024, 03:26:54 PM
Favoritism in sports is a common thing and in the European countries this fanatical nature is well documented as is in baseball games in the United States. These are part of the league thing and bookies are the only ones getting rich out of it.

Many sports betters start out as sports enthusiasts, this is a difficult path to take for them, because of the emotions involved here being too intense to channel them towards something profitable. If they get emotional and dont use the calculative intuition of being a pro gambler, they risk losing money.

However this is tough for club lovers.
250  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your favorite to lose slot game on: April 30, 2024, 03:20:25 PM
Slots are one of those games that are very attractive and colorful with cool sounds. But they are EV- games and that special feature unless you hit it and make a good run with it you will not be making much money just by the general spins. In other words, slots are designed to make you lose money. There are some gambling youtubers who are based completely on slot machines and they are fun to watch indeed.

However new themes come out every few months and thus the craze for slots never ends.
251  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If someone you introduced to BTC says the risks of her funds is on you on: April 29, 2024, 09:22:04 AM
I would not go to that extent to make my friends or family invest. If they wish to do so, I can guide them. You should make it clear to your friend that the long term prospects of Bitcoin are good but in the short term losses may be incurred and that you as the friend will not be responsible with.

Be very careful when advising people financially. They will pin their loss on you and then you will be in a soup.
252  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: TRADERS are not UNEMPLOYED on: April 29, 2024, 09:16:37 AM
Some people take trading as a full time job. But the number is few and most don't even come to the public or reveal this aspect of their life, they might be your random garden man or the regular chap on the bus to work, in other words they remain invisible to public eye.

The main point is still whether the trader is using their trades funds as major source of income or other hustles to fund their trading. Being employed is not the term I would apply here, though. There is no legal binding in trading unless you are doing it on behalf of a company.

That said there are traders who have other employments too so they are not unemployed.
253  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are online/crypto casinos the most profitable digital business? on: April 29, 2024, 09:08:06 AM
It might seem from this forum that casinos are very lucrative business to run and indeed they are but they are not without their problems. The major casinos out there has to work years behind them to set up their name and brands.

Addicted players will visit the casino every day but there will always be people who will still be able to win a big one and then not play again.

There are different business with difference in prospects. Choose the one that works for you not the one that seems to be best.
254  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An aggressive gambler irrelevantly easing his Irresponsible gambling manner. on: April 29, 2024, 09:04:22 AM
Boxing is a game where getting beaten up is the norm, that is the essence of the game and as the gambler betting on the game one needs to forget this and focus on their bets and not what happens to the players - this might sound a bit shrewd but it is what must be done to be able to gamble without getting emotional.

The user should move to other games if boxing is making them emotional at this point of time.

256  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there strategy to make profit daily future trade on: April 28, 2024, 10:36:15 AM
Please stop using signals groups, these groups are owned by conmen who manipulate the crowd to buy and sell their shitcoins while the owners play in the opposite direction. They even ask for membership fees which is another scam they manage pulling off.

You have to rely on your own while trading, it is a one man game here, nobody will help you trade because your win is another person's loss and vice-versa.

Try reading about trading and watching some youtube videos about how trading works and then start dummy trading on your own instead of these groups.
257  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: No gambling today due to bitcoin high transaction fee. on: April 28, 2024, 10:33:39 AM
And as for me gambling today, I did that in our local betting shop, because when paying with Bitcoin with the kind of amount I normally use in gambling, I find out that I mostly pay more, when transaction cost is being added, so I prefer paying with fiat when gambling.
An added advantage of having a physical casino neat where you live and accepts fiat money as well is never a bad thing. While the fees have come down they are still a bit on the higher side and such surges are happening often due to many reasons Ordinals and Runes included. For serious gamblers, one method could be topping up your account once a month when fees are low and then playing on that without any further deposits, confirming both bankroll management and fixing the gambling budget without the headache of upcoming fees surge.

Another option is to use altcoins, but if you have not converted them to altcoin already then you might not want to do that during a fee surge.
258  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Sr Memeber defaulted 35$ Loan [Heartilly] on: April 28, 2024, 10:25:51 AM
Another one of shasan's loans turning into a web of account farm getting uncovered only now.

This is the issue with lending on the forum, more so if you are not doing a collateral-backed loan. However the OP is well aware of the risks and repeating the same statements over and over does not change anything.

Flag supported from my end.
259  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: in future are you hoping to see some countries in Africa legalis bitcoin. on: April 28, 2024, 10:20:51 AM
There’s only two options in the end, either they will legalize it because majority of the other countries are already into it, or they will continue to neglect bitcoin and eventually left behind by other countries. Well, I don’t think they won’t be competitive at all. Of course, if the government leaders will focus on the citizens welfare, then they will prioritize bitcoin without any doubt, regardless if they are trying to impose an authoritarian type of government.
A optimistic side and a pessimistic side indeed. I guess that is what the country people are feeling at the moment. Keep on with your work by spreading the awareness and information about crypto in your locality, it needs to be well ingrained among the natives that crypto is nothing but a moneytary method, bad people have used it for bad things, but it is essentially a good thing for the world.

If the message goes through strongly enough, eventually the government will turn and legalize the use of bitcoin or put it in grey area like many other countries.
260  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥🔥🔥 BC.GAME - CASINO AND SPORTSBOOK | $1,000 GIVEAWAY LIVE! 🔥🔥🔥 on: April 28, 2024, 10:15:46 AM
Participating in all these contests have been making the forum more fun for me - being among the list of users contesting for a prize just has its own feeling. My first here in Bitcointalk I never participated in any sport or prediction contest - I’m not sure why but recently I’ve found myself getting excited each time I receive a notification that a new contest has been launched, I do hope others are having fun as well.
It is indeed exciting and we all gambling enthusiasts share your excitement on this forum. I was regularly participating in another casino running prediction games every week and when I saw BC.Game giving out similar promos, I knew my week was going to be full of predictions all over the excel sheets. So I am keeping track of those now and attempting to win something from BC.game over the next few weeks.

One of these is dated for tonight and sadly my predictions are not close to the current price today, lets see what happens though.
