241  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are You Using A Journal Spreadsheets Will Pave The Way For Addiction To Gambling on: May 09, 2024, 07:57:33 PM
Does anyone here have their own journal or spreadsheets, and are you taking gambling seriously?
I'm not sure about others but personally I don't prefer to have my own gambling journal. I'm not a addict or seriously into gambling and sometimes I don't place bets for many days while other times I place 2-4 bets per day. However, I've never used spreadsheets to write the statistics of my bets.
242  Economy / Economics / Re: Cheap money and High debt can change Job market this is how on: May 09, 2024, 07:54:48 PM
I highly disagree with you, most of the companies and services try their best to give minimum wages to the workers and that's a bitter reality.

It's not easy to earn $1000-$5000 as a normal worker these days. In fact most of the companies are reducing the number of workers because they can't pay them wages.

Most of the workers that work in first world countries often come from third world countries, and they agree to work for 8-12 hours a day for $200-$500 per month.

By keeping those in mind, I don't think whatever you said is true, I know that workers deserve to get good salaries for the amount of effort they put, but I don't think the companies pay them well.
243  Economy / Economics / Re: Hahahaha, the world of cryptocurrency is really magical on: May 09, 2024, 07:48:03 PM
After Donald Trump met with holders of his NFT collection Wednesday, meme coins caricaturing him and rival Joe Biden surged overnight.
Crypto world isn't magical but the big names with a lot of money have the power to create changes in the market especially in that of meme market.

We all know that meme market is full of rug pulls and scammers, and during such times those rug pullers find it as opportunity to rug money out of the ones who're new to the market or who are greedy.

If you get involved in Solana memes then you'll understand that there are so many rug pullers who have partied with other ruggers to steal the money out of pockets of newbies.

It's always better to be careful when investing in meme coins because 99% of those are rug pulls and it's hard to know which one will rug your money.
244  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Peoples expectations about casinos free spins on: May 09, 2024, 07:42:33 PM
What about you ? How do you feel about about free spins?
Free spins and initial registration bonuses are given by casinos to get new members on their platform. However, in some cases they want their existing members to also be part of their platform and in that case they also offer those free bonuses.

There are some lucky players who win enough money with those free spins but most of the users just end up getting nothing with the free spins. The free spins, and initial bonuses come with their own wagering requirements which one has to keep in mind.
245  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price predictions gone silence since the DIP. on: May 09, 2024, 07:37:43 PM
The market if facing dumps time after time and that's why the weak hands are losing hope. The Bitcoin predictions that we had still exist on internet all we need is to find those.

None of those predictions and speculations have came to fruitarian yet, but it's still not the intense times of the bull run. The bull run will continue to get intense and I believe that history will repeat itself once again.

I still believe that Bitcoin has the potential to reach at least $100k in this bull run but that's the least I expect, in broader terms it could reach or cross even $150k.
246  Economy / Economics / Re: If you want to be wealthy you need action on: May 09, 2024, 07:31:24 PM
Yes, it's better to take action in order to get success in life but the actions you take should be the ones which may not cause troubles for you. Taking wrong actions will make you bankrupt instead of making you wealthy.

I have personally seen many people getting bankrupt by taking wrong actions which they thought were right ones. They thought that such actions may help them to have better lives free from financial issues but instead of having better lives they got bankrupt. That's why it's better to do research first than taking any actions.
247  Economy / Economics / Re: Banning of p2p on crypto apps in Nigeria on: May 08, 2024, 09:38:43 AM
I am so much concerned to why Nigerians government is banning the use of p2p on some crypto apps. To their allegations, it's said the crypto is affecting the currency and it also aids money laundry.
I don't know to what extent those allegations are right but I don't think that banning p2p exchanges could ever be a good step taken by a government. The Nigerian government is making it much harder for crypto users to be part of the crypto market because most crypto users buy Bitcoin and other crypto currencies from p2p exchanges and if those aren't allowed then it gets tough for them to invest in Bitcoin or other crypto currencies. I know the ones with good technical skills can come up with alternative solutions but most citizens won't be able to purchase anything.
248  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where do whales trade/withdraw money? on: May 08, 2024, 09:33:01 AM
Most of those whale wallets with huge capital can contact the private investors who are interested in Bitcoin and who may hold it for decades. We all know that there are some people who are highly interested in Bitcoin, and if someone offer them Bitcoin from 2%to5% cheaper than the market then those investors don't think a lot before buying any amount of Bitcoin.

If I'm not wrong the whale who sold his/her Bitcoin did something similarly, and instead of selling his/her Bitcoin holdings to one private investors he/she sold it to two private investors, who may hold that Bitcoin for many upcoming years. It's not hard to sell your holdings to such private investors if you offer than 10% cheaper rates. The ones who mined those for free may also not hesitate to sell their Bitcoin for 10% cheaper.
249  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can you disguise on your real gambling lifestyle just to help a friend/relative? on: May 08, 2024, 09:18:07 AM
Exactly, it's none of our business no matter even if the person is your blood relative, of course we have the responsibility to guide them but in gambling, I don't think so, I may give a few tries if the person is really close to me and if they don't care then why should I care?
Yes, it's not our business to stop someone from gambling but we as loved ones can try our best to guide them about gambling responsibility. We should also guide them that gambling isn't for making money but a way to entertain ourselves, and we should never consider it as a way to earn so much money as that's not possible for everyone.

If still they don't listen our words and ignore us by saying that we are not aware of it, or it allows them to earn money then we should stop saying anything else to such people. It's not worth it to spend your energy and stamina to guide whose who don't listen, and I believe we should try our best to distance ourselves from such people.
250  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: ⛓📍⚡Scam trustdice.io closed my account after winning 7800§ on: May 08, 2024, 08:59:33 AM
It is ridiculous and unbelievable. How is it possible that if I win and ask to withdraw money, I will be banned because I won the Manchester City and Wolves match by less than 7 goals.
There might be another reason for banning your account. Trustdice is a reputed casino, they have been running their signature campaign on this forum since 2022 and they have spent so much money on that campaign.

I hope your this thread will reach Trustdice representative so they could solve your issue. Can you explain in detail that what happened to your account and how you end up getting banned?
251  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Aviator games on: May 08, 2024, 08:53:57 AM
I think in all of the casino games, Aviator is the hardest to win.
Very true, aviator is the toughest game to play and it's almost impossible to win the house edge of it. I have tried so many strategies but my luck didn't favored me for once in winning that game.

I believe Aviator is a type of game where winning rate is very low and losing rate is very high. When I place any bets on Aviator game I see so many players winning 2x to 5x but I think those might be bots.

Personally, I haven't won anything with that game, and my luck hasn't favored me either in other casino games. That's why I prefer to place bets on sportsbook so my chance of winnings goes somewhat high.
252  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: US senators warn on Iran Bitcoin mining industry on: May 06, 2024, 04:27:50 PM
So those senators are indirectly attacking Bitcoin mining operations and now they found Iran as their target. It's a lame excuse to suppress the growth of Bitcoin which they can't suppress even if they make 100's of attempts.

I know they are anti-crypto but they should at least make some ethical moves instead of coming up with such weak stances. I'm pretty sure they won't get success in suppressing Bitcoin even if the come up with 100's of such excuses.
253  Other / Meta / Re: Invalid image on: May 06, 2024, 04:20:46 PM
Thank you Helena, this works, appreciated. But now I suppose all the many hundred links in old posts need to be updated !
No, those links will still not work as they will give that proxy error issue. A better solution to make those images work again on this forum is to upload those images on TalkImg.com, however most of the users who uploaded those images don't really care about updating the images in their posts that's why they're not uploading those on TalkImg.com.
254  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What will happen to BTC if Government gets involved? on: May 06, 2024, 04:17:02 PM
How will it affect the market?
It will affect the market to some extent but not a lot, because most of the times the growth in market comes from exchanges and those are mostly centralized ones. If most of the volume in market is coming from exchanges and if those exchanges are allowed to operate even if government gets involved in BTC then that would not impact the market in anyway.

But, if government gets involved and make new laws and rules for Bitcoin investors and traders then that would impact the market. But, still it depends that to what extent government monitors Bitcoin users. If government gets involved only to make Bitcoin a legal tender then that would positively impact the value of Bitcoin because people of that country whose government makes Bitcoin a legal tender will learn about Bitcoin and they might invest in it.

255  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Interview with business owner who accept Bitcoin as payment method on: May 06, 2024, 04:11:30 PM
That was a pretty nice interview, the guy was smart enough to allow Bitcoin as payment method because gamers often know about cryptocurrencies as sometimes they have to purchase digital goods or other stuff with cryptocurrencies.

The store owner was fast enough to find that and allowed the gamers to pay in Bitcoin and other crypto currencies. I believe for such stores, it's better to accept stable coins in order to be safe from the volatility of the market.

But, if the owners are the ones who like holding their coins for long term then Bitcoin should be the no.1 payment solution that they accept from their customers. I know sometimes it's pretty hard to pay with Bitcoin due to network congestion but most of the times it still works way better than fiat.

256  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Aviator games on: May 05, 2024, 11:23:04 PM
I don't know the math behind those games but I have tried playing those games many times and made some strategies but it's quite hard to win those games. It seems like that they have some kind of Algo which changes itself when it figures out someone is using a strategy.

I have literally made $100's worth of bets on those crash/aviator games and I never won the house edge of those games. I thought that my luck isn't going to favor me in those games and that's why I gave up on those games. However, I still sometimes play those for entertainment purpose.
257  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think casinos can stop demanding KYC? on: May 05, 2024, 10:30:28 PM
If the government does not require KYC for players, I do not think casinos will continue to mandatorily implement it.  Removing KYC will save them money and besides, I do not think Casino is concern about the identity of their players unless it is about account recovery if ever a player lost access to his account.
If I'm not wrong then casinos will still continue to demand KYC even if they face no issues from government's side. The KYC has allowed casinos to pay the gamblers who are lucky and who win most of the games. Some of those lucky fellows often forget about completing their KYC details before placing bets and when they win, then they have to complete KYC verification in order to withdraw their winnings.

The casinos know that KYC is something that will allow them to get some funds in their bankroll so they can pay the one who won a Jackpot, I know that such players are very limited in number and they always can't win the house edge of a casino, but at least casinos sometimes get extra time to pay such winners because of that KYC verification thing.
258  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The reason why you shouldn't force someone to invest in bitcoin. on: May 05, 2024, 10:23:19 PM
The reason why you shouldn't force someone to invest in bitcoin?
There are so many reasons but the most important reason is that why would someone force a person to invest in Bitcoin? Even if the person whom you're forcing is your brother, but still why would someone force anyone to invest in Bitcoin?

Investing in Bitcoin or investing in anything is someone's own choice and I believe that if someone wants a person to invest in Bitcoin then that person should give him reasons that why Bitcoin investment is a good investment.

If the reasons are satisfying then that person will invest in Bitcoin or al least think about investing in it. However, if reasons aren't satisfying then he/she will avoid investing in Bitcoin. I would say, that simply tell someone about Bitcoin and how it could change the future of finance, if that person gets it then he/she will invest in it.

259  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Lack of capital or knowledge, which one is holding traders back from profits? on: May 05, 2024, 10:18:08 PM
Lack of knowledge is the correct answer, that's the one holding traders back from profits. The traders who aren't knowledgeable about trading won't make any profits even if they have starting capital of $100k or $1M. The traders who lack trading skills will even lose $1m because they don't know how to make profitable traders, and how to win against the volatility of the market.

I know that there are some traders who aren't able to make profits from trading because they don't have good capital to begin trading, but that's more like an excuse because there are those traders who had very little capital to begin their trading journey and now most of those are millionaire traders. That's why I believe that the traders who are knowledgeable about trading will make profits while the ones with huge capital but less knowledge will end up emptying their accounts.
260  Economy / Economics / Re: Take care of your money and learn to save. on: May 05, 2024, 10:10:42 PM
People's financial situation is not always the same as we have enough money now but in the future we may not have enough money to spend.
I think from an investment point of view that thing makes sense, and also from saving point of view, but if you want to enjoy the present moments of your life then you'll have to spend money.

It's hard to be happy without spending money in current times, that's why I believe on should try his/her best to spend some money in order to enjoy the present moments.

Another important thing I would like to say is that when you have skills that are at top levels then you can earn money again even if you spend whatever you have right now.

However, I also believe that spending money on unnecessary things is a sign of stupidity, but if someone spends money to make his/her life happy then that's a good investment in my eyes.
